Beautiful house in a great location. One of the best beaches I’ve been to in terms of shells. Water was a bit dirty, but that’s out of anyone’s control. The beach up the street at the state park is perfect if the dirty water bothers you. We had a great time and we all agreed we’d definitely come back.

Great house! Loved the location, the beach access and the pool. Quick and friendly response from management when I had a question about the grill. Would have been happy with a few more kitchen items like better quality pots and pans, but other than that we highly recommend!

Family Vacation

This is our second time staying in this house. We love the area and the house is in an excellent location. The property manager responded quickly if we had any issues.

There was an ant invasion in house while we were there...needs to be sprayed. But the house was very clean and plenty of supplies!Loved the soaps, shampoos, laundry detergent, garbage bags, etc...was super nice! Would like to see a Keurig coffee machine also! Thank yiu for a beautiful home!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time at Stargazer for spring break. The weather wasn't ideal, but we still enjoyed our time on the Cape. We will definitely be back and we will always book through Be Our Guest. Their service was top notch!

Perfect size for our family. Clean. Loved the location. Killed 2 snakes. One on pool gate and one at outdoor trash can area. Recommend foliage around these areas be cut back and some rid-a-snake treatment around the house. Pots and pans need to be replaced. Would recommend home to family and friends.

Beautiful home

Lovely home. Well appointed home, very clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and they provided lots of outdoor seating. Our only complaint was the late check in time of 5 pm and the early 10 am check out time. We felt like we lost those 2 days. I knew the boardwalk to the beach was long, but it was even longer than it looked in pictures. Be aware if you have family members that may not be physically able to walk that far. The elevator was a great help with the 3 levels in the home, but it was sad that a couple of our older family members couldn’t actually go on the beach. Overall, we loved our time spent at Stargazer.

Stargazer sea vacay

The place was beautiful. I liked the area, and it was nice and clean. It rained a lot, but that is just how it goes sometimes. The one day that we had sunshine and it was pretty, the cable/internet guy came. He said he would only be 30 minutes. Three hours later he was still there. That was aggravating considering it was a pretty day with no rain. We had pictures planned that evening so we didn’t get any beach/pool time that day.

Nice House But Some Issues

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is nice. Furniture is comfortable. It is well stocked and we greatly appreciated the many consumables that were supplied.We did have some issues. When it was time to pay the final balance, I planned to do so after work-I get home before 3 each day, but the system autocharged my credit card around noon, including fee (which I was trying to avoid) before I could do that. I contacted Donna who basically said "Too bad, Ill take money off if you rent from us next year." There is mildew on the ceiling in the half bath upstairs.The website description states there are 2 washers and dryers. There was only one set, and the dryer didn't work when we arrived.There were no beach towels (likely due to the only dryer not working). Donna delivered them on Sunday. Dryer was fixed on Tuesday. Water in middle level en-suite shower did not drain. Donna sent a tech who was not the most pleasant, and also did NOT actually fix the issue.Trash cans have locks, but raccoons can still get in-OPEN WITH CAUTION!Overall, it is a nice house and we enjoyed our stay, but were disappointed that the description is misleading as there clearly are not 2 washers/dryers and we had to spend time from our vacation dealing with repair people.I'd still recommend this property and probably stay there again with the hope that these issues have been resolved and knowing to pack for 10 people and one washer/dryer.

House was great and in a great location. Staff was great at responding to our emails. POOL: You can't see it from the pictures, but the pool needs some work. If you are a fan of the pool, like myself, you may want to ask for better pictures of the pool area. (Uneven concrete around the pool, broken concrete from inside edge of pool, older furniture) KITCHEN: Description stated, "well stocked kitchen". It could be a difference of opinion, but all houses we have rented in the past have been well stocked with spices, etc. This would not be a deal breaker in the future, but it would have been nice to know so we could have prepared in advance. There was one dishwasher pod available, so we bought more and left what we didn't use for future renters. SNAKES: Obviously, the property owners cannot be responsible for snakes, but I am putting this here just so you can be aware. We saw one large snake on the boardwalk when walking to the beach. We also saw a smaller snake (appeared to be poisonous) against the house, under the water hose. Just be aware, especially with small children.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful stay at Stargazer! October beach visits to this area never disappoint!! Having our own pool and being able to have fires on the beach were both so awesome!!! Everything was great, but there were several things worth mentioning, one being somewhat of a liability. That would be the uneven and sinking sections of pool decking both inside and outside the pool fencing. There are a number of trip hazards due to this and several in our group tripped on these pieces. Thankfully, when I did, I recovered before I hit the ground!! This is something that needs to be fixed!! Next, a number of the lamps throughout the house needed to be replaced as parts were loose, falling apart etc. There were also burned out bulbs in some lights in the house. Although there was a toaster oven, that we finally found in the cabinet above the refrigerator, a regular toaster would be a good addition. Lastly, although the house is "beachfront" it's a good walk to the beach and maybe that could be in the description for those less mobile than we are. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!!

Oh my goodness what a great lady to work with to set up our week at the Stargazer....Donna was so wonderful and we so enjoyed meeting her when we stopped by the office ! She is a huge PLUS to your Be My Guest organization! The Stargazer is a beautiful home with a great pool ! And...the elevator was such a bonus as we took “way too much” stuff ! Lol! We so enjoyed the beach and fishing too! We caught fish but did “catch & release” this trip! We ate a delicious seafood meal at Hunts, BBQ at the BBQ place on the Cape and had scrumptious pizza at Joe Mama’s in Port St.Joe..I can’t forget the 24 donuts we went and bought from the donut man on the Cape! Unfortunately we had rain while there with a tropical system in the Gulf but we played games and watched movies! All 5 of us would say to anyone wanting to have a fun week in a beautiful home .....Stay at the Stargazer! And make sure to ask for Donna when you book your stay!

Recommend renting a cart to make the trip with stuff. House is open, with great views of the ocean. Sparce furnishings, which is great with family/kids running around.

Rooms are quite large & comfortable beds. Kitchen is a nice layout. Views of the ocean on every floor & every bedroom. Cape San Blas has a really nice bike path that our teens really enjoyed. It's a beautiful & quiet beach town.

It's a wonderful floor plan with amazing views at every level. The pictures don't do it justice! The beds were SO comfy, which usually seems to be the one item lacking wherever we go. The home was very clean and cozy. Our kids spent countless hours playing Monopoly after finding the game cabinet. :) We couldn't have been happier and we will definitely be back!
