great beach house

Our first visit to Cape San Blas, and this is the perfect place to stay, a few minutes' walk from the beach, and everything you need back at the condo.Hosts were very good at communicating with us, and the property was exactly as advertised. Would recommend to anybody looking for a peaceful vacation, comfortable accommodation, nice community facilities, and a great beach on your doorstep.

End of Summer Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was a perfect fit for a family of 4. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils and some toiletries were included which was a very nice touch. This was our first time visiting the Cape and we will be back!

Sandy Hook Townhouse

The Townhouse was really clean upon arrival. Very close to the beach and pool . We easily walked to both. One sink in the bathroom was stopping up and needs to be fixed - certainly not the end of the world. We enjoyed our time there and love the area!

Best townhouse!

We have stayed at Barrier Dunes multiple times. We love the location and the 2 pools and playground for our daughter. This has been our favorite townhouse! It was the cleanest place I’ve stayed you would never know a dog has even been inside. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need even kid plates and utensils. The smaller pool is literally a minute walk which was great with a 1.5 year old. They even have baby gates and pack and play. We loved it so much we added an extra day and my husband kept wanting to extend our stay! We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent place for a quiet getaway

This home was perfect for our family and two pups. It is a very short walk to the beach and beach carts are provided making it so easy to transport toys, boogie boards, towels etc. the rooms were comfortable. Our two youngest slept in the living room and the teenager had a room to himself so he could sleep in. The only disappointment was we booked Thanksgiving week and thought there would be a heated pool only to arrive and find neither pool was warm. The HOA had decided not to heat them. Luckily our kids are fearless and jumped in the ocean all week. Also 2nd floor so just know that if you have anyone with difficulty with stairs. Great place. Great communication. Highly recommend.

Fall break at Cape San Bls

We loved our time in Cape San Blas at this rental. It was all we needed. The location was awesome, weather was perfect, and overall such a great time away. I would highly recommend this rental to a family!

Perfect location, family friendly

We loved our stay! A short walk to the beach, all the beach gear you need (including a handy cart), clean home. The neighborhood had lots of family and other kids for our son to play with. The beach is beautiful! Ros and Carolyn were very responsive, particularly as we were tracking Hurricane Ian during our planned trip. Highly recommend this place!

Great stay at ocean.

It was clean- well organized- close enough to beach and pool . Kitchen had enough to cook full meals. Bring kid cups/silverware if traveling with kids! Outdoor shower was an amazing feature . No beach cart for use but chairs were comfy and useful at ocean. Would recommend this rental to anyone! Great stay.

Perfect Beach Getaway

I absolutely loved staying here for my first visit to Cape San Blas. The condo was a very short walk to the beach and had all of the essentials to celebrate my golden retriever's 15th birthday. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back. Ros and Carolyn were very quick to respond with any questions. The only thing I would change is to stay longer.

Beautiful property and surroundings

A beautifully decorated townhouse in a nice complex! Master bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes and pots and pans. It could use a few tupperware containers. Very close to the beach and both pools made it so convenient. The beach chairs provided were comfortable and easy to strap on our backs to carry to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Getaway!

First time on the gulf side of Florida. Could not have been more perfect. Large enough for our group of 6 (2 kids) Very private and lowkey. Everything was provided that we needed and extras (beach cart, buckets, chairs, etc) were a plus! Had great communication with the owners. Beach was beautiful. Will definitely go again!

Beautiful week on the beach!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time in this beautiful, immaculate condo just a short walk from the beach. The owners have made everything so easy! From supplying beach equipment to having a washer and dryer in the unit, these details made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Being so close to the beach was the absolute cherry on top. We spent as much time there as possible, which was exactly the type of vacation we wanted. We loved our time in Cape San Blas!

Best vacation ever!

We were looking for a quiet place to get away too and just enjoy the beach. We are fr the Midwest and had never been to the ocean. Needless to say, our stay was absolutely amazing! Beautiful is an understatement! We stayed in Barrier Dunes, renting out the Hidden Beach condo. It was neat, clean, and AMAZING for the cost! This trip was memorable in EVERY WAY imaginable! Booking was so easy and the owners were so pleasant to speak with!

Vacation to Remember

This was a vacation to remember - after a tough year - my son and I needed the healing of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, and we wanted to bring my grand-doggie with us who loves the beach ever since we lived in CA where there are lots of doggie friendly beaches. We’d never vacationed at Cape San Blas nor used VRBO. Everything went very well. Ros and Carolyn were perfect hosts and communicated very promptly with us. The bonus was the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil you could imagine needing. The water was gorgeous, sand beautiful white, and the sunsets were nothing short of spectacular - I felt like we were at Key West with the sun melting below the Gulf of Mexico horizon. The unit is closer to the beach than I imagined and the pool right off the beach was so perfect - shower off after a hot day on the beach and jump in to cool off. We loved the Piggly Wiggly Grocery in Port St Joe - we also loved Joe Mama’s Pizza! Very nice on the inside and a casual outdoor patio. We will definitely come back!
