Such a great beachfront house! The master suite on the top level was spacious and the deck hot tub access made it even better! This was our first trip to Cape San Blas and we were so impressed with the peacefulness of the area, the water color on the north side beaches, and the cute downtown Port St. Joe! Our pups felt right at home and loved walks on the beach. Would highly recommend this beach house and area!!

A GRAND vacation

The house was exactly as listed! Perfect for me, my husband our daughters/spouse and our 4 GRANDS!! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and the private pool!! The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. We rented bikes and road to the playground and the nature trail!! It was a GRAND trip!!!

A Beautiful Quiet Place!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO Property. The house was very clean and had everything we needed plus more! We made use of the pool several days and the Hot Tub and top floor views in the evening! Went to Port St. Joe for items we needed! Our dog loved it too!

Overall Great Stay

We visited with four adults, two kids, and our dog and overall had a fantastic stay. The proximity to the beach was great! The beach was very nice and not crowded with some great sea shells and a perfect place for evening bonfires. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate during our visit so our boys wanted to resort to the heated pool, but the heat was not working. The hot tub made an okay alternative for chilly nights, and the property manager did communicate and work with us for the non-heated pool (which was appreciated). The home was stocked with games, kitchen supplies, towels, beach toys, etc. In terms of the home, the kitchen was great for cooking tasty seafood meals and the master bedroom and bathroom were phenomenal. The living room set up was a bit small and awkward but we made it work. The other bedrooms were clean and comfortable, we just struggled with some of the TVs streaming/wifi capabilities. Overall, if you’re looking for a dog-friendly stay on the beach, this is a great option!

Peaceful and great location

This house was perfect for a family vacation! So close to the beach. The private boardwalk was wonderful, especially when you have kids and use wagons to carry beach gear. Kitchen was the best stocked of any VRBO. The private pool was a Plus+++ plenty of restaurants within 10-15 minute drive.

Beautiful but noisy

Loved the house but the 3 flights of stairs got old real quick. The master suite was incredible, but guest were uncomfortable going through bedroom to get to the hot tub. Be warned there is a lot of construction going on around the house and it is very noisy from early morning through evening, 7 days a week. It's a long walk down the boardwalk and then over the sand dunes, so you get quite the workout lugging all your beach supplies to the beach and back. The beach is beautiful but beware cars drive back and forth in front of you all day. With all that said I gave the rating of 5 stars, the house was well equipped and beautiful.

Family vacay

This property looks exactly like pictures online! Perfect location, distance to Cape and Port St Joe restaurants is not too far. Beach towels available and heated pool were added bonuses. A quick fix to the ice maker on fridge was was immediately taken care of when we notified host. The only recommendation I would provide would be to improve WiFi strength to allow all guests equal tv access, the signal didn’t allow viewing in guest bedrooms. The living room and master were fine, all others we couldn’t access. We had poor weather two days and this would have been helpful. Overall it was a lovely trip and great place to stay with family and our pup. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great Week at Dolphin Lookout

We had a great week at Dolphin Lookout. Loved the flowers and note on arrival. We had some minor maintenance issues and the staff were very responsive and so great to work with. The screened porch was great for sitting out in the evenings. Our family loved the pool and hot tub. We loved this area and plan to come back again soon. Again thanks for everything!

Perfect Place

My husband and I and our 2 pups thoroughly enjoyed our stay celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect, from the fresh flowers when we arrived, to the gorgeous kitchen, upstairs master bath, and all the decor throughout. The heated pool was fantastic! Absolutely Perfect

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was perfect for large family group. Nicely decorated, organized and well stocked. The view was amazing. The pool and hot tub were especially enjoyable for the kids and the temp was warm allowing them to swim in December. We love that this property was pet friendly allowing us to bring our dog to the beach for the first time. All questions and needs were addressed immediately. Donna from Be Our Guest is professional and very responsive. Little touches were special like a small Xmas tree since we arrived on Xmas day. Would love to stay here again .

Wonderful week at the beach

We had a wonderful time with family at Dolphin Lookout! The location is amazing...quiet and beautiful. The home has everything you need to be very comfortable, even while making Thanksgiving dinner in someone else's kitchen. Being able to see the sunrise and sunset from the deck was incredible! Thank you for sharing your home with us...we had the best time!

Beautiful home and location but....

This property was one of the nicest homes we've rented in the area. We travel to the panhandle every other year for a summer vacation. The private access to the beach was perfect. The pool was fantastic, and the home was very well-maintained. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to feel at home. We loved having the hot tub on the master bedroom level to enjoy in the evenings. The screened-in patio on the main floor made sitting outside and eating our dinners enjoyable while watching the gulf. The only drawback on this property was the 24-hour surveillance cameras pointed right at the pool area. While I understand the need to keep an eye on the property, this made me feel very uncomfortable and was a constant distraction. The entrance to the house faced the pool, where the Ring door camera monitored the comings and goings every day and the pool area. Overall, I loved the house and the location. I would think twice about renting again due to the heavy surveillance.

Perfect Vacation!

We had the best week at Dolphin Lookout! The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need during our week stay. We loved the pool and two beach front decks. My husband was extremely happy with the grill and its location by the pool and a beach view. So glad we were able to include our two dogs on our vacation also.
