Beautiful view with boat dock

The great things about this property are the view from the house and a place to tie up your boat for the week. Mother nature didn't cooperate for our trip. The house is on the west side of the bay, and we had a steady wind out of the east most of the week, up to 20 knots with much rain. Some annoyances: the trash hadn't been taken to the road and the firepit was full of empty beer cans from the previous visitor. There were not supplies, like extra trash bags or extra rolls of toilet paper. There is no pantry with things like salt and pepper or extra paper towels. Utensils, pots, pans and dishes are provided. The ice maker in the fridge didn't work and the clothes dryer seemed to have a bad heating element because clothes weren't drying. There was a small ice maker on the counter, but it wasn't sufficient. Although there is plenty of room down below, the only grill is a very small unit with a propane canister off the master bedroom. There are no closets in the bedrooms although places to hang clothes are provided. The other thing to be aware of is that you should plan on backing your boat/trailer into the property. The driveway at this particular house is not practical for turning around even my small 19ft skiff without interacting with the landscaping. As indicated, these were for the most part minor annoyances. The house was comfortable, well-appointed, and our overall stay was relaxing and enjoyable. We would keep this house on our list of options in the future.

Nice!

The house was very clean and well furnished. Awesome views of the bay from nearly every room. Lots of outside living with three decks and a screened porch. We docked our boat at the shared dock; this access to the bay is a huge plus. The sunrises were priceless!

Awesome fall beach getaway

This is the second time we have stayed at Morning Glory. It’s in the perfect location. My husband brings his boat and loves to fish on the bay and I’m a beach girl. So we get the best of both worlds. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. We will be back.

2 weeks in paradise

The home is just as “advertised “! Well maintained with all the essentials. First time to stay in the bay side. Having my boat tied up at the dock was a real treat. Can’t beat those morning sunrises. We will be back. Carol immediately responded to a couple small issues. Thanks for a wonderful 2 week stay.

Amazing View - Even Better Fishing

This property had it all from beautiful sunsets to a very hot trout bite. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and hated to leave. The owners stopped by on our last day and gave us smore ingredients! They were so nice and we cannot wait to stay in one of their beautiful properties again.

The Cape is a quiet and beautiful area. We enjoyed seeing the sun rise and sunset daily. The house was well equipped and close to many gulf beaches. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great 6 weeks on the Cape!

Christmas 2022

We had a very relaxing winter vacation at Morning Glory. The home is very comfortable and the bay views are stunning. The house was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The homeowners we very responsive to the two minor issues we had during our stay. First, the internet password had changed prior to our stay and we could not log on. Carol provided the new password in just a few minutes. Second, there was a record-breaking cold front during our stay that resulted in a burst water line in the outdoor shower on Christmas Eve. Again, Carol responded very quickly with a plumber to correct the problem. Excellent customer service! Cape San Blas and Port St. Joe are lovely towns with very friendly people. Lots of great restaurants. We will definitely return in the future.

Perfect vacation

This was my family's first time to CSB. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carol was phenomenal. Everything was clean in the house. She has everything you'd need there. Our boys loved playing & searching for different sea creatures out in the bay. I gave 4/5 stars on description simply because I wish I'd known beforehand (we found out about 2-3 wks before arriving) that the golf carts can't be taken to the house. So we drove our vehicle each day to the beach & parked in the empty lot that Carol owns. The boys(16&13) were really looking forward to using the cart more. We went to Rish Park one day for swimming pool. We will most definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home!

Fantastic!!

From the day we booked until the day we left, everything was seamless and as described. Owners are fabulous and the property was outstanding. My only issue, and we were aware, is that there are so many glass furnishings. I was crazy paranoid with a 4 year old and twin 6 year olds. Lol. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend to anyone looking at this property. One side note. There are no blinds on any of the windows so be prepared for the gorgeous view of the sunrise to greet you early!!

Overall we enjoyed our trip and all things were good. Nice quiet place on the bay with good fishing and close to the beach. My concern prior to the trip was beach access. I asked specifically prior to booking about using the cart. After arrival we found a note saying the golf cart could not be driven back and forth from the house to the beach due to law enforcing. Seen several carts all week travelling the roads. I feel like this should have been communicated prior to arrival. Public beach access is exactly .5 mile away. Best option is Rish park but was told this will be limited to handicapped only in the near future except for specific hours. The master bedroom has see through curtains over the windows and over the bathroom door, which can't be closed from inside the bathroom. We never found the paddleboards mentioned in the VRBO listing but did enjoy the kayaks. Overall we worked around the issues and the owners were quick to respond to all questions. We liked the area and will probably return in the future.

The place was great - very nice and quiet - beautiful long dock into the bay. Very short walk to the ocean as well. The owners are very kind and responsive as well. A fantastic vacation spot!
