House was clean and in good condition. Excellent location with easy access to the beach and bay. Volleyball, pickleball, and pool located right behind the house and with kids this gave them an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while we watched from the back deck. Host responded very quickly and communication of details were sent in a timely manner. The check-in process was super easy, and we would stay again when looking at Cape San Blas!

This house is beautiful and a short walk to the beach. I loved that the pool is literally out your back door and that all beach gear was provided for use. Everything was so convenient. And you do not often find all bedrooms with king beds which was perfect for our family since our kids are all adults now. Nick was very quick to respond and a great host who even offered us an extra night at a discounted rate which we took because we loved it so much there. I would stay again for sure!

This place was gorgeous! Every room was so beautiful and access to pool and the beach were amazing. Three of us drove and four flew down. My husband brought along a lot of stuff (despite my sending everyone the list of things already there) and we honestly wouldn’t have needed any of it. The beach cart is large and there were plenty of chairs not to mention a great sunshade! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and so comfortable!!! My kids all said it was by far the best beach/house combo we’d had yet. It’s about 300 steps from the front door, around the brick cul-de-sac and down the boardwalk to the beach. We had no problem at all getting back and forth even with the seven month old baby. The five king beds were amazing and so comfortable. We had a great week and would rebook this place in a heartbeat. Checking in and out was so easy and the host is responsive and so thoughtful. Don’t hesitate to book this place and enjoy your stay here!!

Family get away!!!!

Absolutely LOVED this place! Best stocked place ever! Every kitchen appliance needed and well stocked kitchenware! The “pool closet” had chairs, beach wagon, chair wagon, tents, toys….. it was loaded!!!!! The pickleball courts, sand volleyball and on site pool were so easily accessible…. My grands LOVED being able to just hop off the deck and go! The parents loved it cuz they could see/ hear them from the deck!!!! The boardwalk was a short distance away… even the 4 year old could go to the beach and back without complaining!!! The beach was GORGEOUS!!! When we left… all the grands asked if we could go back next year!!!! I said ABSOLUTELY!!!! Corresponding with “Nick” was a dream!!!! He replied promptly to EVERY email and supplied all information needed to check in AND check out! The whole little neighborhood was just a dream!!!! So glad I found this place!!!!!

Family Trip

My family loved staying at this property. It’s just steps away from the beach and close to the pool, and pickle ball courts! The shed at the property was fully stocked with everything we needed for a day at the beach which was so convenient! Definitely would recommend staying here!

Family Vaca 2025

It was our first time to this area. we vacation each year in Florida but wanted to try a new location. It is very quiet and calm not crowded. we had a wonderful time. the pool was right outside the back porch area. You have a little walk to the beach but it is nice not so deep as other beaches we have stayed at, easy to get to the water. The water was murky the first several days but then cleared out and we says several sting rays/crabs. Lots of fishing happening on the beach each day and night. It is very dark but allows to see the stars unlike other beaches.. We will come back and enjoyed our stay so much!! Thank you!

Fabulous Stay in Cape San Blas!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa del Sol! The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the reclining sofas! The sand volleyball and pickleball courts right off the back porch were fun and convenient. The walk to the beach was very short and the storage shed was stocked with all the beach necessities - wagon, lots of chairs, sun shade, toys, etc. You cannot beat this beach location - calm water, white sand, and not crowded. Nick, the host, was extremely helpful and communicative. We will definitely be returning to Casa del Sol!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Played pickleball each morning then enjoyed a short walk to the beach each afternoon. Beach was not crowded. Enjoyed having the wagon and chairs available at the house so we didn’t have to pack them. It was our goldendoodle’s first beach trip and he had a blast. House was great…had what we needed for cooking and the recliners in the den were great for watching football. Restaurants on the Cape, Indian Pass, and PSJ aren’t too far of a drive.

Great for family

The property was clean and comfortable. We brought our older parents and children and we all had a great time. Nick was responsive when we needed help finding something. The beach was a short walk away and we all enjoyed our stay so much.

Great family home

Our large family enjoyed our stay at this property. We especially loved the comfortable recliners in the living room, the very easy walkability to the beach (about 5 mins down the boardwalk), the wagon provided to lug our beach gear, and the community pool (which was never very crowded). Highly recommend for a nice family home!

Girls getaway

We had a wonderful time staying here. We had 7 ladies over the age of 40 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Walk to the beach was easy and made easier with the wagons that the owner provided. Distance to local restaurants was easy and never an issue. Thanks for a wonderful week!

First visit to the area

The house was nice and location convenient but do not consider LUXURY an appropriate description. Only 6 of our planned 8 made the trip or the house would have seemed crowded in commons areas. Linens--sheets, pillows, towels definitely no luxury. Pool not so great as it was too cold for anyone to enjoy and though we did use the grill, it is worn out. Paid way too much for this rental...found much nicer for much less while there. Will know a little more about the area...more Port St Joe than Cape San Blas. Beach beautiful and beach items very helpful.

Winter break

Loved the neighborhood and the home. The pool, pickleball courts and volleyball court were all awesome. The long beautiful boardwalk to the beach is so pretty. The bay and the gulf views are really nice. Back patio was nice to chill and eat lunch. The house has 5 bedrooms and a nice kitchen and living area. Was well stocked with kitchen items. No spices though. All the bathrooms have single sinks, so we weren't sure which was the master bathroom. The couches were really nice for movie night. So nice that we all fell asleep shortly after the movie started. Any house in this neighborhood would be sweet to rent for the week. All are very nice for families. Close to town but also close to go out further on the cape or to state park. Love this location!

Perfect Location

Our family loved our stay! The house is very spacious and relaxing and the owners responded quickly to any questions that we had. It was great to have the pickleball and volleyball court right in the backyard and the short walk to the beach was very nice. We will be back!

Wonderful family vacation!

We enjoyed the house! It was the perfect size for 8 adults! Loved the beds and pillows! We had a playground in our backyard and really enjoyed playing Pickleball! The beach was perfect!
