Thank you Tina for sharing house with us. The house was exactly as explained. The house was very clean and I really enjoyed the sun room, I was able to see the manatees from there.

Great location and super cute house. The stairs were a little precarious but the lighting made it safer. Loved watching all the wildlife swimming by and we saw several manatees at hospital hole on our kayaks.

Nice home with a nice location. Plenty of Kayaks to choose from. We loved the bench swing, and the large Sunroom/ Family Room. The restraunt near this home called the Lazy Lizard had the BEST burgers! We would definitely rent again.

The place was clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the kayaks and Pac-Man game. We also loved the turf (which made the outdoor space feel very clean) and the numerous out-door seating options. Tina was very responsive any time I reached out to her. We did not know about this mermaid show and its history until we came. So cool! The show was easily 13 each. We also saw several manatees and even a pair of dolphins came swimming up the river cresting right in front of the house!

Our experience at the Little House was phenomenal. We really enjoyed everything from the layout, furniture provided and amenities. The swing/furniture and umbrellas by the river was quite relaxing. That is where we saw the most manatees just slowly gliding by. Then there was the river equipment (kayak's/canoe/paddle board) that provides for a relaxing time on the river. I highly recommend anyone to try it, who is looking for a relaxing time. One of if not the best experience on VRBO to date for us. Thank you Tina.

Such a great place to watch manatee in the morning and the tourists in the midday! You are right on the river and the house has things you forget like beach towel, folding chairs, everything we needed to cook while there.

We stayed at this place for a few days & had a blast. The house is great & sits right where all the action happens. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The instructions to check in & out are clear to understand. The house is also equipt with all the water craft you'll need to have a great experience on the water & is a short paddle to hospital hole to hang out with the manatees. If you're unable to get into a kayak, just sit on the swing seat & wait for the wild life to swim past.

Very clean - my friends kept saying this as we stay in rentals 2-3 times a year and this house was very clean. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Enjoyed having kayaks available to use on the river and didn’t have to bring ours. The outdoor area was perfect with nice umbrellas and three loungers. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - I suggest leaving suitcases downstairs. Thank you for allowing us to stay - had an excellent weekend.

We all absolutely loved it. We went kayaking everyday and the home had everything we needed. Beautiful place, great location, cleaning, very comfy furniture and lots of hangout places and TVs. Lots of fish and manatees to see. We will keep this lovely home on our radar.

Great stay

Our family had a wonderful experience staying at Tina’s little house. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The enclosed back porch quickly became one of our favorite spots.The home was well equipped with most of the amenities needed, making it a convenient and comfortable stay. Tina went out of her way to make check-in seamless, which we especially appreciated as we were traveling with our dog for the first time on such a long journey. Her thoughtfulness made a big difference.Everyone we encountered during our stay was warm and friendly, contributing to an overall atmosphere that was both inviting and stress-free. We would gladly return and highly recommend Tina’s home to others looking for a peaceful and accommodating getaway.

Comfortable, Clean, and Well-Stocked

My family (3 teens & myself) stayed 4 nights here. We spent 3 days on the river, then went to Honeymoon Island on the 4th day. The house is well-equipped with river gear, bedding, and new appliances. We easily made breakfast and snacks with the utensils and kitchen items on hand. The only thing I needed to buy were Kleenex and laundry soap, but that's to be expected. The host had everything from throw blankets to sun hats and oscillating fans ready to use. The temperature of the house was cool enough to sleep comfortably. She even had white noise machines in the 2 bedrooms upstairs. The only challenge was getting up the stairs because they were steep. There is a railing, and if you go slow, it can be done, but I struggled a little due to fibromyalgia. Once upstairs, though, the view in the master bedroom is worth it! I was not at all disappointed. In my opinion, this house is one of the best river set-ups I saw...the lawn chairs, the dock, the swing, the fire pit, the yard games...it was made for families and making core memories! We were able to catch a few fish from the dock.I could tell the owner put in some work to make the house stylish and updated with cozy furnishings and understated decor. I would definitely go back!

Stay On The River

The house was in a great spot with all of the amenities you can think of. We loved seeing manatees swim by everyday along with other wildlife. The backyard overlooking the river is where we spent most of our time. The chairs and umbrellas were perfect for lounging for us, and the kids spent a lot of time kayaking and exploring. We enjoyed our stay and the owner was great.
