Stopover on way to Sydney from Gold Coast
We always stay at Salt by the Sea on our return to Sydney. Great hosts and excellent property.Fully self contained for all your needs and in great location walking distance to Flynns Beach and short drive to Port.Very clean and well maintained property and allow small dogs which is a bonus.Highly recommend this property. Quirky. Good, but could be improved to make stay more comfortable.
Missing a few essential items. Power point access was the most frustrating thing - 1 double in kitchen for the whole of the living area (how can we charge all our devices!) A power cord to the pp behind lounge would have been very helpful (couldn't access behind lounge). No access in bedroom to a pp. A hand towel and bath math would have been nice, as would towels that did not feel 'scratchy' (dryer would help). The pillow cases were not ironed - not a good look. Place mats would have been nice to have. Basic crockery and no platters or small dishes for nibbles, dips etc. No dishwasher. A print on the wall opposite the bed would have softened the stark look. Overall reasonably comfortable.

2 Night Stay on return to Sydney
Have stayed several times at Salt By The Sea and never disappointed. Great Hosts especially Tiffany who is very helpful.Very clean and well appointed and self contained for a short or longer stay.Easy walk to Flynns Beach and nice Asia Restaurant down the road.Short drive into Port to explore.Will definitely be back. Beautiful getaway
This was our third stay at this property. It is beautifully decorated and appointed, close to the centre of town (we went for dinner and a show at the glasshouse), and we had a swim at Flynn's beach in the morning, which is only at the end of the block. I am sure we will be back!

Fabulous
A beautiful unit in a great location. Communication about check-in received in advance. Everything wonderful. Host very welcoming. We brought our dog with us (Roger, Pug) and we loved that we had a beautiful, clean and modern apartment that so comfortably also allowed a dog. We will recommend to our friends.

Loved our stay. We will be back.
We loved our stay here, we will definitely stay again whenever passing through. The apartment was so clean and tidy. Location was great. My little dog loved his stay too. Great food options in walking distance. I met Gloria when she was onsite and she was lovely and so welcoming.and helpful. Would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone.

Neat and clean apartment, perfect for a couple.
Really enjoyed my stay, the property was everything I needed. Clean and well organised and close to the beach. The shops were a short drive away so very convenient. I would definitely recommend.

Good clean unit close to town
Place was clean and as advertised. However it must have been painted recently and was very stuffy due to paint smell. Could have been avoided if place was aired a few hours before arrival

Lovely studio apartment had a few problems with stove top which was our problem but didn’t resolve oven sure one of the buttons wasn’t working did tell the host location was great excellent restaurant 100 metres away the blue whale excellent food and service very quaint

Very nice
Very nice, I loved the decorating, very nice atmosphere. The air con warmed the place up fast. Only problem was when my daughter had a shower and it ran out of hot water quickly, knowing this when I had a shower I didn’t turn the hot water on much and didn’t have a problem. Not much of big deal, but when on holidays I don’t expect to wipe the soap of my daughter because the hot water ran out. Perhaps a low flow shower head or infinity gas could rectify having a small hot water tank. That said, I would defo stay there again.

Rustic clean
The accomodation is very clean, rustic style and minimalist and I love it . 2 mins away from the beach ,koala hospital and shops. For people who are not driving . Catch a bus from flynns street to Port Macquarie town centre would be abt 15 minutes. Also catch a bus from Wauchope station to Port Macquarie Town Centre and from there another bus to Flynn Street. It’s convenient and cheaper that way . Taxi from Wauchope station to Flynn would cost you $80 . Host Gloria was kind to offer us a lift to Port Macquarie on our 1st day.

Holiday Gem
Really love your property the decor is fantastic and so beautifully styled. Great location with easy walk to Flynn’s Beach. The unit was so comfortable and the little extras were really great. Great location
Stayed with our kelpie dog. Easy walk to Flynn beach. Several food outlets at the corner just down the road. Off leash dog beach just a bit further up the road. Great location. Unit small but perfect for 2 people. Clean and tidy, bed comfortable. Overall a great night. Will stay again.

Relaxing stop over
