Fantastic Pet Friendly Salt by the Sea
I travel with my Cavoodle and when coming to Port Macquarie I also try to book at Salt by the Sea. Great location, great little apartment. High recommended for travellers with small dogs.

Great Accom with Pets
We have stayed there a few times now. Lovely decor, very easy with pets (no carpet etc.), everything supplied. Great location, not far from Dog beach. some terrific restaurants close by (5 mins walk). Whats not to love? We'll be back again.

Pleasant and pet friendly unit.
The property was light, and wecoming and well suited for a small house dog. The neighbourhood is nice with a short walk to cafes and beaches including a dog friendly beach. The host's communications were prompt and polite and the check in process easy.

Good
We were looking for a place to stay overnight on our way to Brisbane, and this seemed to tick all the boxes - affordable, clean, quiet, AC etc. It was all fine, though the sofa bed was awful, as expected. Loved the polished concrete floors, and the decoration. Unfortunately, in the morning our daughter was sitting at the table eating her breakfast when she moved her chair back, and the chair collapsed and she fell. Thankfully she wasn't injured, but it was concerning that a 25kg child could break a chair. We saw Gloria when we were checking out, I mentioned it, and she didn't apologise, just kept repeating 'thats strange', but did ask our daughter if she was ok.

A nice spot close to the ocean
The apartment was very well kept and in a great location that was well within walking distance to a number of beaches and coffee spots.

Great location, clean and pet-friendly
We spent the October long weekend here together with one child and our small dog. Pets are not allowed to be left on their own at the unit, which I can understand as I can imagine some dogs might bark a lot or wreck things if they get anxious. Our 12-year old slept on the fold-out couch, which was mentioned before we arrived, but I would not stay here if we would plan to come with more than 3. The unit was very clean, compact ;-) but pretty much perfect for us. As an insider tip: I would choose unit 6 or 3 as the other units have guests walking past to get to their unit and some of those have their bedrooms up the front. Would certainly consider booking again!

Overnight Stay on Return to Sydney
Another great stay at Salt by the Sea on our return from Gold Coast to Sydney.Very comfortable and clean and close to beach and short drive to Port.Great hosts and will definately stay again. Chris.

Place is a little tired/dated , broken blind (We were comtacted by host prior to arrival on this) meant there was little privacy. Neignbours dog barking throughout the night.

So clean and close to beach
Our unit was so clean with lovely quality furnishings and linen, and in a quiet spot. From first contact our host Gloria made it very easy and efficient. Great location close to dog-friendly beach. A very enjoyable stay, and wonderful to be able to bring our dog.

Tranquil stopover
As soon as we entered this property we wished it wasn’t just a one night stop over. We loved that there were little surprises in the kitchen for us for Easter and all the staples needed. The location was fantastic. We aren’t big fans of busy towns but Flynn’s beach was perfect. Coffee from Roam Cafe a must, beautiful owners.

Very clean we stayed with our dog, you could never tell that dogs stay there , shout out to the cleaning ladies who do an amazing job. The decor is beachy , fresh and welcoming , highly recommend.

A great spot
We stay here a lot on our way to and from Sydney from QLD. All of the apartments are always spotlessly clean and have everything you need for a short stay. Love the decor too simple but stylish.

Awesome location close to the beach
I had a great stay at Gloria’s gorgeous beach apartment. Its clean, modern and beautifully styled and furnished in a tropical Bali style with everything you need for a relaxing holiday stay. I will be back!

Overnight Stay on Return from Gold Coast
We have stayed several times at this property on our trips to and from Gold Coast to Sydney.The property is well maintained and clean and comfortable and allows Pets.It has everything you need for overnight or extended stay.Great location with 5-10 minute walk to Flyns Beach and corner shops and Restaurants.Port is only 5 minutes drive to centre.Nice quiet location and great friendly hosts.Would definately recommend this property. Chic Apartment
Arrived at night but found property easily. Parked on street nearby and needed to climb a long set of stairs to reach unit on upper level. But this offered better views and quieter location in the complex. Very well designed , very chic apartment. Only one night booking, but we would have been happy to stay longer.

I found the property unsuitable for dog friendly as our room was upstairs and I had to take the dog up and down to the toilet. The room was tidy but the shower kept blocking up and overflowing. I liked the proximity to the beach but that was all that I liked

Excellent place to stay
Great location located with walking distance to beautiful Flynns beach. Place is perfect for a couple with a small dog. Only thing could improve the place would be having some Wi-Fi as data réception is poor with Optus. Great place otherwise. Thanks Daniel

Short getaway to visit family!
The unit is cute and impressively styled. So close to Flynns, beaches and Port such a great position! Gloria is welcoming and prompt with communication. The upper floor is a little noisy with other guests next-door which is the only downfall. Not much you can do about that. Overall I would totally recommend for couples and couples with pets! I would definitely return. Great Stay!
