    Nestled right on the bay, this Port Isabel bungalow is surrounded by palms and shrouded in sunshine. While exploring the area, be sure to visit Pirate's Landing Fishing Pier, Beach Park at Isla Blanca, and the South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center.

    When you need a break from the sun, the cool interior of your retreat features creature comforts like comfortable furnishings, tile flooring, and updated amenities. When hunger arises, utilize the well-equipped kitchen's gleaming countertops and stainless steel appliances. Also off this space, you'll find a private washer/dryer - perfect for refreshing your vacation garb in.

    As the sun begins to set over the water, head outside and fire up the gas grill before dining alfresco with the people who mean the most to you.

    Sleep, dream, and repeat amidst the high-quality linens and central air-conditioning back inside.

    Check-in time: 4:00 PM
    Check-out time: 10:00 AM

    You must check in at the Long Island Village Resort Center to pay for vehicle passes (two vehicles maximum) and wristbands. This is a $110 admission fee that will be paid directly to the Long Island Village HOA on arrival and is not included in your Vacasa fees. The Welcome Center will be closed on Sundays. All guests and renters arriving on Sundays may check in at the Guard Shack, which is staffed and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Security will also be available to assist with any questions or concerns and can be reached at (956) 564-1511.

    **** Please note, Texas weather brings pesky insects, and while we strive to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible, we are not able to control the elements that attract insects to the outdoor/indoor areas. All properties do utilize pest control maintenance regularly, BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.
    ** The host does not guarantee stable wifi services at all times during your stay. This may also affect streaming services for televisions.

    NO PARTY POLICY: This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team monitors compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors. If any guests are found to violate these rental policies, it will result in eviction without a refund. If you have any questions or concerns about your compliance, please get in touch with us right away so we can ensure you have a safe and happy vacation.

    All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
    No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

    Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

    Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

    Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Valley trip

Great little place to stay. Be aware that there will be a charge of $30.00 a day by the Long Island Village management (this is an item left out of VRBO listing).

Very nice place, great views to the channel & space x. Good dock for fishing. The house was very clean & nicely furnished. Enjoyed my stay, will be back.

Long Island Village Oyster Drive Bungalow

Nice, clean, comfortable bungalow on a dead-end street on a canal with a wonderful, uninterrupted view looking out over a salt water marsh teaming with a variety of birds to views of South Padre Island and SpaceX.

Nothing like having a view of the horizon with the fish jumping and all the birds to watch. And the view of the SpaceX facility was an added bonus.

Fantastic location to view Starship launches!

This is a great property to view the launches as it's right at the south end of the canal. The property is nice and has plenty of space for at least 4 people. I did have a few hiccups with the door code, but management helped right away so only a minor inconvenience. You do need to pay the recreation fee to be in the property, but there is a fun chip and put 18 hole course on premise. Just a short drive over to South Padre Island. You have an unblocked view to the launch tower across the channel on the back deck!

Very Enjoyable

Our stay at this villa was truly enjoyable. Relaxing on the porch, rocking in the chairs, and watching the birds made for a wonderfully peaceful experience. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and having a washer and dryer available was a great convenience. Although the utilities were being worked on and the power went out briefly, a repairman was sent immediately to resolve the issue. The problem was never fully resolved. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable place or a more attentive staff.

Nice Place. Great view of Starbase

Decent place, we had an excellent view of a Starship static fire! Would have given 5 stars, only negative comment is about the Community association, there was some construction going on in the road to the property and the construction team did not provide continuous access so we had to park down the road and walk to the property several times. Worked out OK, but it was a inconvenience. Also, be prepared to wait at the island bridge a few times.

Overall Great but….

We a had issues with the appliances. The microwave would not warm up food I put my food in for 10 minutes and it was still ice cold. Checked the voltage and it said it was in high. The fridge took 12 hours to cool our sodas and water. The drawer for the utensils was very difficult to open and was nerve wracking to open it felt as if we would break it. Then the toaster had a iI had to hold the handle down to toast. Very inconvenient when trying to cook multiple things. The WiFi sucked. You connected once it worked for a few minutes then cut off and never worked after that. We wouldn’t have been an able to message other family staying in Long Island Village… good thing we had a hot spot. Other than these things the stay was awesome and appreciate what was provided.

Ok but....

The amenities and security at Long Island Village are great. This property was clean. Upon arriving, automatically there were issues with the electricity in certain areas of the house, we thought it was a one time thing but nope, it continued our whole stay. The lights in the master bathroom& bedroom, utility hallway and 2nd bathroom would flicker then go out completely, the main tv would also turn off along with those lights. Big inconvenience when your showering a toddler and the light go out! The lights in the dock/outdoor area wouldn't turn on or stay on either. The attic door out in the balcony is broken open and hanging, we pushed it inward so it would fall on us or our kids. I contacted Vacasa, sent video and photos. At first I was told to look for a breaker box, which we didn't find anywhere but in my opinion, we shouldn't have been asked, it's not our property. They stated writing up a report and we'd be contacted if someone was going to go out there for maintenance. We've checked out from the location and haven't heard from Vacasa.

Beautiful home on canal

I am leaving an overall 5 star review, though there were a few things that I found unpleasant. For starters when we checked in there was a $90 fee for staying at the park and using the amenities, which I dont mind but being aware of this fee in advance would have been nice to know about. I have 4 kids and taking vacations is a luxury for us and money is a factor. I know it may not be for most but for us it is and I know it may only be $90 but it just cut into our budget. If we would've known about that fee we could've acounted for it in advance. The house itself was very beautiful! My kids and boyfriend really enjoyed being able to fish right off the canal every single day, and I mean every single day! The house was right on the canal, it had 2 full bathrooms, a living room, an extra couch, full washer and dryer and a full kitchen which was so lovely to be able to wash towels, our clothes and we were even able to cook every day! The door to the master room was a pocket door but it was slightly off the hinges which made for opening and closing the door quite difficult. Oh, and the little black ants....they were a neucence!!! They got into everything and wouldn't go away! They ruined our bag of cereal, fruit, and just anything thay was left on the counter. It seemed like nothing we did worked to get rid of them which was very frustrating since it was our breakfast things that were on the counter....but the cereal was left on top of the fridge in hopes it would be safe from the ants but even that fell victim up there. Other than thise few minor inconveniences, I would stay at this house again and even in LIV! It's a quiet community with sweet locals and plenty to do if you're just trying to have a chill day at the house but not in the house. There was a full golf course, a mini putt putt course, swimming pool with indoor and outdoor swimming pool and they even hold events.
