I have mixed feelings about this place. It was nice upstairs but outdated down stairs. Smelled a little like mold down stairs and the refrigerator’s freezer smelled like fish. The place was clean as much as it could be, the wooden deck had some fishing trash but nothing major The outside was a little dirty but I know the owners cannot control Mother Nature. We also had multiple visits from feral cats and nosy neighbors. We headed to the beach on the second day and when we returned, the ac broke down. That Texas heat turned the temperature inside from the 70s to the 80s real quick. We all had to go down stairs to stay cool. A little hard for me and my uncle because the stairs were tiny spiral style. Something probably bought on an Asian website. The chat service on vacasa is a joke. They all send the same answer. I do want to thank Jd who was the only person that took mercy on us and tried to help. He advised to open windows but some were hard to open or did not have mosquito nets so we just left them down. The maintanace staff did not come in until past midnight. They said it was something electrical and the ac did not cool the place until past 2. The property manager advised me to call the next day for compensation but I have been getting the runaround. It’s been 4 days now and they keep ignoring me. I called today and the representative told me she had nothing to tell me. I will update after this week.
