Wonderful accommodations. We had a few issues but it was only with regard to the home being properly prepared ahead of time. I believe the turn over prep was just too quick between guests. All resolved and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Great location and neighborhood
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location was great and the neighborhood was very nice and safe. Plenty of rooms for our family trip which included 3 families that ranged from a baby to an elder and everyone was able to enjoy the home and sleep great. There was an additional room in the pool house that was a pleasant surprise because it was not pictured. We used that room as well. We did have an issue with the pool when we first arrived and communication was through a third party Vacasa, but nevertheless the issue was resolved very quickly and we still were able to enjoy the pool and the entire house. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home, but...
We have been going back & forth with Vacasa over the last months & have no resolution. It seems we have been dismissed. The home was beautiful & much as described except the issues. We were contacted about stains in carpets & broken drawer in fridge. These were not the only problems that we noticed when we arrived. Filthy carpets,Broken drawer in the refrigerator,Cockroach infestation,No working vacuum,No working dishwasher,Dust-coated lights over eating areas,Dead roaches in cabinets & dishes & under cabinet edges,Roach wings in food after trying to cook after 2nd pest control visit (that we had to evacuate for) Leak in the right master bath sink drain, Boards falling off the fence, garbage disposal not working, fridge ice maker & water not working,vacuum & hose had no suction,Food & trash in bottom of the trash cabinet,loss of money for groceries roaches getting in food even while cooking),loss of money having to eat away from the house,money spent on cleaning supplies, vacating 3 days before checkout because of the issues. We spent a large amount & expected a clean & comfortable house. This was not what we got. Carpets & rug were filthy. Area around front of kitchen cabinets was filthy & had dead bugs.Live roaches everywhere, crawling in food while I cooked.We notified Local Host of all of this.They still took our money, let us spend more, let us remove EVERYTHING from cabinets & clean and still we get nothing from you but the run around.

You don't get what is advertised.
The place is beautifully. It is a big house so I expected to have enough of everything. I mean beds towels dishes trash bags etc. The property was advertised with 5 bedrooms. We only had access to 4 and some of the entries where closed. I had family members sleep in the floor and on the sofas. I called service but they did nothing to solve my problem. I didn't like that we did not had what we paid for.

great except for management
the house is awesome!!! huge house with lots of space! great for big families and friends . the issues was with management. every battery in that house needed to be replaced. Fire alarm is screeched all night long remotes didn’t work in the front door which lock was automatic with the keypad didn’t work either.. we back home from dinner and couldn’t get back in. We tried to call the 24 hour hotline … after being on hold for an hour we finally got to speak to somebody which they showed us where the lock box was so we could get in. we couldn’t het it to lock when leaving with the key because the key just spun in the holder. this house is great but i hope they fix these issues quick.

Great place for families!
We loved having space for all 6 of us to have a relaxing vacation and not all on top of each other like in a hotel. Having a pool was an added plus. Close enough to everything on South Padre Island as well.

Great home!
Excellent location and property! The house is very spacious and beautiful! The home was very comfortable and beds were also very comfy with exception of the two small pull out beds. We weren't able to figure out the jacuzzi but i never asked either. I'm pretty sure the property manager would have responded quickly. I'm thinking it would be easier if there were written instructions. Also the TV on porch would not turn on but that was okay as there were other tv's in the home. I loved the fifth bedroom that is outside next to the pool. Definitely would stay at this property again!!

Wonderful vacation at Laguna Vista
I can't say enough how awesome our vacation was at the Laguna Vista home. The home was actually bigger than we realized. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The back patio, pool and hot tub were exactly what we wanted. We were only a few minutes drive to the beach and the jetted tub in the master bathroom was icing on the cake. I would recommend this home to anyone and we plan to come back. THANK YOU FOR A PERFECT VACATION!

What a cluster!
We specifically chose this home because it had a great size outdoor space and heated pool. Our family loves playing in the pool and chilling outdoors. Checked in on Saturday- no pool heat. Blows breakers, Monday Electrician to be there- no show. Tuesday electrician comes can’t access garage to get to breakers! By Wednesday property manager tells us to use public pool. As a family we prefer a private pool but gave in on Thursday. Load up the family head to clubhouse pool only to find out NO ONE has set up access for the property.. So still no swimming for kids. We needed 7 bracelets to access pool on Friday and they deliver 5. Seriously- I can’t even make this craziness up. The renters after us will have a heated pool as it was installed late Friday…. Waiting on a refund, pool was too cold to use, never tested or cleaned while we were there. I hope the management gets the house supplied with bracelets so the clubhouse can be used as advertised too.

House was EXACTLY as advertised. We stayed a couple weeks in February (with two dogs) to play golf and it was perfect. Only warmer weather would’ve made the stay better so we could have enjoyed the pool too.

Nice upscale property
What's not to love about this property, upscale home, in a gated, SAFE, upscale community with a huge double lot. The managers are very friendly and communicate with renters continuously. The home is furnished nicely and had everything we needed for the week we were there, including EXTREMELY PLUSH TOWELS!!! Thank you for that! The grill worked very well as did the fire bowl on the patio. There is a golf course over the back fence and we found 5 golf balls in the back yard. We had hoped to use the spa on the nice days we were there but were given a run around when asking that it be heated up and it never was. We are supposed to receive some compensation for the inability to use it. Overall, we would highly recommend this home for a nice place to stay.

Great Holiday Rental
We have stayed in this property before but this visit was disappointing. The overall maintenance of the home was terrible. My wife and I own vacation properties in the Outer Banks of NC and are familiar with the challenges. However, this house was extremely understocked in the kitchen and the most basic necessities, Forks, bowls, pots etc were absent. The general upkeep needs 3 -5 hours of handy man services. Robert, who contacted me immediately upon arrival was nothing short of awesome. He delivered requested item and was not only professional and courteous but even went as far as buying us shrimp for our holiday dinner. Truly amazing! We do plan to stay here again in the future but would love a preview of the property condition before we book.

Sisters’ trip 2021
My 4 sisters and I had a wonderful vacation in Laguana Vista, TX. The house was perfect. We especially loved our time by the pool. David, the manager, was awesome and very helpful. There are a few suggestions, maybe lamps in the other bedrooms, a few more kitchen utensils, (mixing bowls, steak knives, baking dishes, cookie sheets, etc, ), and maybe an information book with suggestions on restaurants, things to do, etc. Most importantly, we would highly recommend this house. We had an amazing time!

Beautiful Home
First let me start by saying , this is a beautiful home with lots of space . The neighborhood is super quiet , friendly neighbors and the golf course is right behind the house . The listing is for 5 bedrooms and 4 baths , but unfortunately we did not have access to the 5th bedroom and bathroom. Also please be sure to take your own paper towels and laundry detergent if you plan to wash and extra trash bags if you have a large group . Other than that we loved the house , and plan to book again .

Overall we were favorably impressed with the property. just a couple of comments: 1. the home listed for up to 12 occupants we had 8 and it was marginal. the one bedroom was outfitted with a foldout chair and loveseat. Not very comfortable. 2. The cooking utensils were marginal. 3. enjoyed playing golf, however the coarse needs a bit of work.

Weekend Away
The property was amazing! Loved the pool and the master bedroom. Only a few sticking points: the hot tub was not hot, maybe this was for safety, but would be nice to be able to get it above warm. Also, the master is so large and wonderful, we felt bad that our friends were in such a smaller room. Not really a critique, more of an observation for anyone splitting costs for the stay. It does seem more suited for families with children.

AMAZING!!
My husband and I stayed here with 5 others the week of September, 5-11. It was exactly what we needed. The house is absolutely amazing. Everyone had there own bedroom and bathroom, and the kitchen was big enough for several to be in there at once cooking. The POOL was GREAT!! We had a very relaxing get away, after 2 of our cruises were cancelled this year. Would high recommend staying here!!

Beautiful house, needs more regular maintenance
Upon arriving at the house we immediately loved it. Beautiful quiet neighborhood, spacious & comfortable rooms throughout. Gorgeous pool! Our kids were very happy with everything.  We did have a few issues which could have been prevented with more regular maintenance to the property. On the first day we noticed a very foul smell upon opening some kitchen cabinets and drawers. Turns out there was an old water leak under the kitchen sink (with dirty/smelly bucket in place under the plumbing).   By the second day we had killed 2 roaches we found inside the house. We texted the property manager who promptly replied & apologized.  He said he would send pest control to the house, but they never came.  We continued to see roaches throughout our stay. We brought our small dog and on the first day he was so happy to run around the huge backyard! Then he got stickers/thorns stuck in his paws.  Turns out there are very thorny weeds growing throughout the backyard grass, so BEWARE if you want to walk in the grass with bare feet!  Also, the backyard fence is in disrepair. There are several metal fence posts which have fallen over, leaving quite a large space for small dogs to easily escape out the backyard.   On our last night we were awoken at 3am by a large crash inside the house. Something must have fallen behind one of the locked closet doors. A bunch of attic insulation shot out from underneath the closet door into the room. We were unable to open the locked closet door to investigate exactly what happened up there. In the morning we saw a new water leak had appeared on the ceiling, and a corner of the living room had standing water! There was no rain, so we think something happened with the AC unit in the attic.  Again, we texted the property manager and he replied right away and apologized.   There were a few other minor inconveniences during the stay. The refrigerator didn't cool properly and our food kept spoiling!  Also there was no propane tank available for the gas grill outside.  The light bulbs in the laundry room were burned out, so we had to load laundry with our flashlight.   I did provide all of this feedback the property management company. Unfortunately Vacasa will only publish 4-star and 5-star reviews, so any negative reviews are not visible.   I sincerely hope all these issues get resolved. If this house had more regular upkeep with pest control, lawn service, plumbing maintenance, etc, then we would love to stay here again.

Great stay
We had a good stay at this property. There was something wrong with the a/c unit, but someone was out there before we even checked in. More pots and pans are needed, and different utensils. Mosquitoes were a HUGE problem around the time we were out there in August 2020. We saw a few cockroaches during our weekend stay, so we don't know if the house had been recently sprayed and they decided to start coming out. Besides those few things, it was a pleasant stay. The house is beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed the pool. Keeping everything in mind, overall, I would recommend this house for a nice get away.

Beautiful house inaccurate listing
5 bedroom 4 bath? The 5th bedroom and 4th bath was locked, we could not access, trying to get ahold of someone, was on hold for over an hour hung up and dealt with it. Had issue with pool pump and filter were clogged, so keeping pool circulated and hot-tub would not work. So we were missing a queen bed and bathroom and had to figure out sleeping arrangements. They need a paper with whom to contact incase of something wrong instead of having to endure the phone wait.

Family Friendly & Fun
Spacious and Comfortable...close to HEB, Walmart, restaurants & South Padre Island. Respectfully recommend new mattress for master bedroom, fix bathroom left sink leak & kitchen sink leak (they had a bucket). Overall, the Positives are so many including the use of the big pool, safe family neighborhood, and a daily friendly visit from a baby rabbit was a delight for our family.

Family Spring Break Trip
Property was very well kept. Upon arrival we had trouble getting in the gate because I never received an email with the gate code but was able to contact property manager and get it. Neighborhood and neighbors are friendly and welcoming. Location is convenient and close to stores and attractions. I would definitely book this property and recommend it to anyone! Also I read a couple reviews that stated the property falsely advertised 5 bedrooms and there are only 4, but rest assured there is 5 bedrooms. The mini fridge in 5th bedroom seemed to be broken it never got cool, so we had to store our stuff in the main house instead, that was the only drag.

The house was very clean. The pool is huge compared to the other houses we have stayed at. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is very peaceful. By far the best house and location we have found . We will definitely be staying here again.

Great home with a few hiccups
Everything with this property was great with a very few exceptions. First I had to kill a few roaches I believe this may have been due to the wet weather that passed through the area in recent weeks. Second the Mother in law suite was so hot we had to sleep without any blankets and I couldn’t get the tv to connect in that room. The pool and hot tub was great but had more bugs a debris floating in it than I would have liked. Again I’m sure this is due to the bad weather and no fault of the owner. The home only provided two trash bags for the kitchen trash can, and for a party of 11 we went through those bags in about half a day luckily we brought our own. I appreciated the fact we were able to check in early and the property manager Ezekiel aka “EZ” was great and answered every call and text message immediately. I would definitely rent this property again but I would be sure to bring a can of bug spray and a fan.

Thank you for your review! We are working with an air conditioner tech to look into the duct pressure into the mother-in-law suite and will put a fan in, too. The pool will now be serviced prior to every check-in; it is difficult to keep up with due to golf carts driving nearby sending debris into it every day. We hope to see you again!
