"It was a wonderful little house and was perfect for us to get away for a few days. I loved the kitchen, everything was clean and the overall feel was homey. We are thinking about bringing the grandchildren for a weekend next summer. Our host was accommodating, very pleasant and the welcome note with dining recommendations was much appreciated. They will love the large yard and it is close to beachfront parks and playgrounds so it will be perfect!"

"I can’t say enough about the cleanliness, and how well it is stocked with absolutely everything you would want in the kitchen, fabulous, coffee bar that even had hot chocolate, which is what I drink! "Nice clean cottage, stocked with alot of little extras to sweeten the stay! Everything you need to relax and kick back. I LOVED the beach for rock collecting and found some keepers! AWESOME breakfast just down the road at a really reasonable price and enough that we weren't hungry even by supper time. Crystal is also very responsive with any questions. "We greatly enjoyed our time here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. The home is very roomy and yet, very comfy. Plenty of sleeping areas, entertainment areas, provided everything needed for a great family getaway. Firepit and being steps away from the lake with breathtaking sunrises was a plus - the memories made, were unforgettable! Host is very responsive. I had several questions as we weren't familiar with the Lexington area and she was very accommodating with lots of suggestions...

"We take guy trips to fish Lake St. Claire and decided to take the wives up for a weekend getaway. It was our first time on the upper part of the lake and it's loaded with fish and things to do. The house and Christa (host) are great. You can't go wrong with a house right on the lake with a hot tub and a bar and grill (Island Grill) right around the corner on the water. If your looking for a getaway I highly recommend it!"
