We have stayed at this property 2 years in a row. Place is perfect...on the sand, great access to beach, reasonable price, nice kitchen and family room on 2nd floor, etc.

Amazing location and lots of space. Comfortable and well stocked house. We had a nice weekend getaway with our teen kids and their friends, and Silver Strand is a great beach for hanging out, boogie boarding and watching the sunset.Minor bummers were that some of the outdoor chairs and umbrella were broken and a handful of dishes in the main kitchen weren’t clean.

Location and View are amazing! It felt like we had a private beach with our own life guard. Plenty of room. Can see they have done some updating. (It's hard & costly to keep beach homes perfectly maintained.) It had everything we needed in the kitchen.

very clean. well equipped . couldn't get any closer to the beach without pitching a tent in the sand. possibly a little overpriced but good chance we would stay there again. Great location. 3 story but we didn't even go up to the top. no need. a stair gate was provided to keep the little ones on just the first 2 floors.

Overall experience was absolutely great....It's and older house ..so not a lot of Modern amenities. But it was spacious..beautiful and Clean. Kitchen lights flicker a lil bit at times...But its an amazing house...I would definitely choose this house again.

The Best Beach Front Property for small groups!

This Place has served as a wonderful getaway for years now for our church youth group. It is the perfect place to get away and relax with the most beautiful beach views. Rain or shine, this place provides a cozy getaway with plenty of room to cook, play games, watch movies, and have great time with community!

A wonderful place to stay, just needs some TLC.

We loved the location and overall amenities were very suitable. With a little love this place would be perfect. A few mattresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable, the patio furniture needs to be replaced, and the kitchen and bathrooms could use some updating. But the price was reasonable and you can't beat the location. The property manager was also very nice. We would stay here again.

Awesome beach front home

Absolutely one of the best beach houses on the water. Huge home With all the toys you could want to play on land or in the water. The main living, kitchen area is fantastic for cooking & entertaining everyone! Plenty of space for all. . Was a total blast for the fourth of July! Definitely be staying here again !!

For the location price was expected. Out the door to the sand. Checking was easy. Like everyone else I will Note this property needs an interior facelift. Well stocked but couch is stained, the furnishings, cabinets are aged. Big tv on third floor is out of service so you watch a small one that’s in a desk obstructed a pole in floor blocking view. A little money and they could make this a real gem! Ping pong table was a blast. Kitchen/family space was a great size.

Perfect Location

Visiting family in Oxnard and we were able to enjoy the beach while we were there. Step out the back onto the beach. Walk to the corner store. It was perfect for our short stay.

Great location. Plenty of space, only one complaint.

There is no hot water. Cold showers and boiling water on the stove. Not a problem for a bunch of guys, but might be for families.

Oldie but Goodie

This property was a good find. The house needs to be updated, and has a weird layout. There is a bathroom upstairs that is blocked off which really makes the master bedroom less desirable. Loved the location right on the beach and all of the beach toys available for use. We had a great time and would stay there again.

Get away to Silver Strand Beach

Silver Strand Beach is always great and it didn’t disappoint this time. We were three generations, group of six, celebrating Easter and relaxing. The house worked well for us but it definitely needs some updating: baking pans were old and scarred up, towels were thin—and rental does not include beach towels (knew this going in but very surprising), bedding/sheets were thin. Never used equipment in garage bc weather was not warm and kids were too young for bikes, boards and ping pong. House was clean. Zan was very responsive when we had questions.

Great Location - Great View

Everyone enjoyed Silver Strand Beach and the view from this home is unbeatable once we cleaned the windows. The property itself is nice overall with lots of space and sleeping accommodations. Not sure if I missed this, but the house set up like a 4-bedroom condo upstairs and a 1-bedroom condo downstairs. It worked out well for our multiple family get-away giving one family a little extra and much needed privacy. Beach access was easy. The decor of this property is comfortable enough, we slept well in the beds and it was clean, but it’s is not fancy or elegant as I’ve experienced in other vacation rentals. Not a deal-breaker for me, but could be off-putting to some. Also, we visited in the winter and it rained so our outside time and use of the patio and deck furniture was limited. But we noticed that all those items: chairs, umbrellas, loungers etc all looked pretty dilapidated. That happens at the beach but had we visited in the summer and found that I would have been disappointed. Last point: There is an apparent serious concern for noise at this property. There are signs and reminders EVERYWHERE. Not a big deal for us, but if I had stayed here with kids who played outside I would have been stressed out the whole time.

Old Place needing TLC and too much beach tar...

There's beach tar everywhere and it ruined our shoes. It is annoying to stay on the upper floor with only a toilet and no sink! The house needs some TLC. Very small kitchen!! The location is quiet and that was nice. If you visit Oxnard, you must go to Toppers Pizza! Best pizza I've ever have!
