Ein B&B, das aus dem Rahmen fällt: traditionelle Geigen Musik live zum leckeren, reichhaltigen und abwechslungsreichen Frühstück, interessanter Vortrag über die Umgebung und ein ausgesprochen persönlicher Empfang bei der Ankunft. Zimmer sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Would definitely return!
What a great place to stay in Port Hood! Alain and Denise were so welcoming and helpful. Alain had many, many suggestions for what to do in the area, and also gave a lovely overview of the history of Port Hood and Cape Breton each day over breakfast. Breakfast was delicious every day, too. The room was quite spacious and clean. We'd definitely return!

The hosts are the kindest most welcoming people you can meet. They take all the time to make sure the guests are familiar with the area and all the sights that can be seen. The breakfast is the best I ever had.

Owner showed us pictures of the island ( Cape Breton) & gave an explanation and then he played for us on his fiddle which was wonderful! As well , a young man staying there also picked up a fiddle and played ! Was wonderful!

Local history and a home-cooked breakfast
This was a fantastic bed and breakfast run by a lovely couple. If you're looking to slow down a bit and learn some local history over a home-cooked breakfast, this is the place for you! They were very accommodating with our late arrival. The few number of rooms helps them cater to their guests. The location is great as well, minutes from great beaches, and with a view of the ocean. If you are in a rush or looking for a 5-star cookie cuter hotel room, this place isn't for you. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon!

Delightful visit
The hosts were fantastic breakfast homemade and delicious. She made homemade fritata and bread he told us of the history of the area and played the fiddle at breakfast. I would love to go back and spend more time.

We loved our stay at The Fiddle and the Sea. Our room was very comfortable and the house has a lovely elevated view from its front porch and garden. Port Hood is really charming, we were so glad that we chose to spend a night there and would happily have spent more. Our hosts love of the area and its music and cultures was apparent, and we enjoyed learning from them. Highly recommended

The property was sparkling clean, comfortable and pretty. Beautiful view of harbor. Owners were very knowledgeable and gave a presentation during breakfast of the history of the area. Hot, sit down breakfast was homemade and delicious. Owners were very gracious.

Herzlicher Empfang zum Check-in. Es gibt vier Gästezimmer, alle im EG. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Frühstück wird im OG serviert. Dazu spielte der Innkeeper auf der Geige und gab viele Informationen zur Umgebung.

The owners were lovely. The Breakfast was excellent. The owner played the fiddle for us and provided us with a history of the area. There’s a beautiful beach and bike/walking trail near by.

We stayed here at the end of our Cape Breton circuit, it would have been a great place to stay at the beginning of our visit. At breakfast,our host shared his knowledge of the island, made several fantastic recommendations and even gave us a mini fiddle performance. The breakfast was excellent...lots of delicious homemade preserves.
