"The location is beautiful - a long frontage on Lake George. The condition of the property is, literally, pristine. I am not sure how it manages to be so perfectly maintained and still look like a traditional lake resort. We could not have been more pleased."

"My husband and I really love this property not because of its location, which is absolutely beautiful-but because it is the complete package. The updates made were very very nice. Loved having coffee outside the deck. We were able to relax, play games and enjoy ourselves in a beautiful setting! The communication with the owner was great! "Wonderful stay at Carolyn’s Cottage. House was spotless on arrival and beautifully decorated. Comfy beds, nice towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could want. The deck off the family room has nice furniture for outdoor dining and a great grill. The star of the show was the beautiful yard and lakefront. Great views and sunrises. The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails."

"I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful...

"Overall, stay was very good. One small thing that wasn’t clear was the mooring for the boat. It was not directly in front of the dock at all I thought I might have to use one of the neighbors if it was necessary. The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river."
