Very nice woman greeted us upon check-in. The motel is very central....just down a private driveway from the main street, in fact. The room was quiet and comfortable. Id stay there again.

The best thing about this property is its location. It is walking distance to everything. It also had a decent sized room which was very clean and usable.

I liked that the motel was right on the Main Street of Port Fairy, easy access to restaurants etc. convenient. We had little interaction with staff. Coming from Canada, I’m not a big fan of places that offer dishes to use, and then having to wash them in the bathroom sink. Perhaps that is unique to Australia. Room was clean.

Excellent value for money for our one night stay, friendly and staff as well as a great location in Port Fairy! Clean and comfortable central accomodation. Nothing to complain about whatsoever.

Very centrally located as the motel title suggests. Clean and spacious rooms with lovely people at the front desk. Fresh milk on arrival and easy key drop off on departure. Good showers, well stocked bar fridge and extremely clean. No air conditioning so room got a little warm but thankfully not hot weather. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We were booked in for 3 nights but ended up checking out after 1. The rooms are really tiny and outdated and it just wasn't a room we enjoyed staying in. The owner was nice and refunded our money for the 2 nights.

The room was a good size and clean. There is no air-conditioning and no ventilation which made the room stuffy even though it was not too hot outside. Even the on suite has no exhaust fan which steamed up the room.

Hi DavidThank you for your review, apologies that you found your room stuffy. Unfortunately our rooms do not have air conditioning units, however there are fans in all rooms. This is listed under our facilities description so guests are aware on booking. We do also like to keep windows slightly open so that air can flow freely in the rooms. We are glad that you found our rooms clean and spacious. We hope you enjoyed your time in Port Fairy.

Highly recommended
Peak season over the New Year, but the rooms are built well with almost no noise from adjacent rooms. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and friendly. Good garden and barbecue available, and the location right in the centre of town is incredible.

EV's and big ICE fkkers
Comfortable, clean. Tesla drivers make sure you tell them on booking (I didn't) as a great big 4x4 ICE was blocking the Tesla charging park. It seems to be big dirty diesels that block every time. Fortunately the lead was long enough to juggle a spot till I was charged up. Added to detaiks PlugShare. Good destination charger.
