Fabulous family holiday
8 adults and 2 children stayed here 4 nights for a family holiday and for a local wedding - it was fabulous. We also could take our small dogs and it had an enclosed back yard. Fabulous location with great sea views and was brilliant for family meals and chilling on the balcony. Lots of extras and great cooking facilities. Would definitely stay again.

Just Perfect
We couldn't have been happier. Spotless, really comfortable beds, pillows. Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, kitchen utensils. Lots of soaps, extra toilet paper rolls etc. Could keep going, we were very pleased! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We'll definitely be back!

Great family holiday
House was perfect for a holiday for an extended family group. There was plenty to do even in the event of bad weather, the pool table room at the back provided a great option for those who want something more active than board games. Location, provides excellent base for walks.

Just right for us!
this property was just right for our group of 8 adults (4 x couples) and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of space, good cooking facilities - pantry even has a selection of sauces & spices etc we were able to use, comfy beds and clean and tidy. Nice view of the sea from the front balcony. 5 mins walk to the beach and short drive to Victor Harbour. I appreciated the prompt communication when we booked.

We loved our time at Jakara! It has everything you'd need and more, and perfect for our one year old with high chair and gates at the bottom and top of the stairs. A very comfortable stay, in the perfect location. We will certainly stay again, and recommend this place to everyone!

Three days stay at Port Eliot SA
The process was very smooth and straightforward. The home at self seeded our needs with one family having the downstairs and two single people upstairs. The views were lovely and we enjoyed the opportunity of long walks on the beach and close vicinity to the shops, about a 10 minute walk with the dog.

Large modern property and granted late checkout, although did not require it in the end. Small issue. This is a beach property but beach towels not included, not that the weather was kind anyway. Would recommend this property, especially for large group.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. The weather bringing 50mm of rain flooded most areas of SA. I apologise for the dishwasher as I was unaware until the cleaners contacted me. It is always appreciated if any issues that I am contacted so I can resolve the best I can.

Family Fun Weekend
We booked Jakarah and the house next door, Southerlea for our mum's 80th birthday celebration. The houses were perfect for our family of 16 and two dogs. It was the first time we took extra items of our own (like sharp knives) as many rentals don't have great kitchen items BUT we didn't need anything that we took as the houses were totally equipped!! Great spaces, great views, great location! We will be booking again during the summer season for sure!!

Port Elliot Getaway
We spent 5 nights at the lovely Jakarah Beach House. The property was very well located and contained all of the items listed on the Stayz website. There was plenty of room for our group and the pool table in the 'games shed' at the rear of the property was very well received. We would definitely book this property again.

A Pet-Perfect Port Elliot Escape
From the ease of booking and communication with Tanya and throughout our stay, our time at Jakarah Beach House was stress-free, relaxing and extremely enjoyable for all of us. The bedrooms are roomy, comfortable and spacious - a bonus especially with 3 teenagers. The main suite a parents delight! There are 3 bathrooms (including the en-suite), making life so easy for a family. 2 large family areas for the cooler days/nights, large balconies to enjoy the sun and sea views and a separate games room. The kitchen is well appointed, so that if the 2 minute drive/10 minute walk is too much, cooking at "home" is easy. There is a large pantry and all the equipment you could require. And the cleanliness could not be faulted - and I am pedantic about this. And our dogs were exceedingly content in their holiday surrounds. To top it all, the house is a quick 2 minute walk to a fabulous beach. Such a fabulous find. A wonderful place to stay, relax and unwind.

Beach side holiday
Thankyou Tanya for hosting my family and I in your beachside home. It was in the most perfect spot, close to the beach and a short walk to horseshoe bay and into town. The size of the house was great the only recommendation would be to have a bath tub in one of the bathrooms for the kids.

Relaxing time
We loved staying- plenty of room ( and bathrooms) for everyone, a great dining table. Lovely fresh bedding and clean bathrooms ( one small point-the tea towels were noted as not quite the right ones to get things dryed properly and we did an initial wipe down of some shelves in the fridge.) A game of pool was enjoyed by some and of course the views from the balconies- we were lucky to have had great weather too. Some in the group grabbed some brochures to tell their families and maybe plan another stay.

We had a great time staying at this property in Port Elliot. The house is beautiful, clean, has everything you need, nice ocean view and location. Everything was perfect and we ended up staying for an extra night.

Ground floor wet areas don't drain freely. Window & sliding door screens req'r cleaning - dusty. Otherwise, not cheapest around but sufficed.

Hi Pete Disappointing you were not happy with the house. Can you give me more detail regarding the ground floor issue as this has never been mentioned by any guest and I would like more information on how to get this fixed.

Great Stay!
Wonderful stay. Beautifully updated house and ammenities. Our only negative feedback would be that there were some uncleaned cutlery, a few areas looked a little uncleaned with dog hair around the house also. Cleaners could perhaps do a more thorough clean. Otherwise wonderful property and we really enjoyed our stay!

The owners have put a lot of effort into ensuring that so many things are available for a fully enjoyable and comfortable stay from kitchen to leisure items, extra blankets and towels etc. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and location is excellent . Check in process very simple. Great place for 2 families or families with more grown up children with an upstairs and downstairs living area. Highly recommend .

The perfect stay
My family had a wonderful time away at port Elliott. What a fantastic house. Beautifully well appointed, comfortable beds and linen, good heating, 2 lovely balcony’s, the pool table was great for when my older children all came over for 1 night. Walking distance to everywhere including beaches, pubs, cafes, shopping and the best walking trails with amazing views.

Jakarah Beach House
A lovely house with a beautiful view. Strategically located, the house allows you the opportunity to walk down to Boomer Beach, Horseshoe Bay, and the Port Elliot town square. Tanya and Jak are very prompt with responding to emails and calls.

A wonderful family holiday home
We thoroughly loved staying at Jakarah. It was a perfect space for three generations and very child friendly. The house was very well equipped and comfortable for a longer stay. We particularly enjoyed sitting down together as a family at the large dining table inside and also on the balcony to eat and play Uno. We also enjoyed the views from the second balcony. The Fleurieu Peninsula is a beautiful place to visit and staying at Jakarah completed our holiday perfectly.
