Incredible stay at Dew Drop Cottage II

The location was spectacular with a very short walk to the Monhegan Boat Line Store, Squid Ink Coffee Shop, and Village Ice Cream. We walked to Marshall Point lighthouse about a mile away and hit the tide just right for a couple beach days at Drift Inn beach. We had an incredible ocean view facing West for beautiful sunsets. Our two bedrooms and spacious living / dining area was plenty of room for my wife and 2.5 year old to relax and enjoy ourselves. Highly recommend if you want to place to get away.

Nice View and Peaceful

My husband, adult nephew and I very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was very clean, well supplied, and quality furniture. The beds were comfortable. No problems with the WiFi connection. We were able to watch the sunsets and the boats coming and going with their lobster traps. The locals are nice people. When we come back to the area, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely house in a beautiful spot.

Well-appointed house with tasteful decor and stunning views to the busy port and colorful sunsets. House had everything one could need and especially nice cookware and utensils. Windows on all sides makes the space bright and happy - a really lovely spot. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Dew Drop II in Port Clyde, ME. Place was adorable and very clean. We drove up/down the coast from our location. Was such a shame the Dip Net and general store burned down as they were so conveniently located. I’m sure they will build back better! Would definitely come back!

Port Clyde Vacation

This is a great place and Veronica was an excellent host. The reviews online are accurate—this is a lovely house with very nice furnishings, comfortable, nice but small kitchen. Only drawback for us was that it’s a duplex, so you don’t have privacy when use the outdoor space. If that doesn’t matter to you, then this place is perfect. Our “neighbors” were very nice but you are taking a chance booking a duplex. The view of the harbor and sunsets is spectacular.

Another Wonderful Stay!

I’ve been staying here each June for a number of years, and in spite of some chilly, foggy days I simply loved my time there. Lupines, lobster boats, walks and bike rides to the lighthouse and general store, Dew Drop is perfectly located and a warm, wonderful home! Well-equipped, extremely well managed, I miss being there as soon as I pull out of the driveway.

Port Clyde visit enhanced by Dew Drop Cottage II

Very nice home with a great western (sunset) view over part of the harbor at Port Clyde, Maine. Roomy, well appointed, very comfortable beds and furnishings, bright and colorful with lots of light, easy parking, and trouble/maintenance free. We'll be back again!

Bright and Wonderful

Beautiful side-by-side units. We had them both. When a difficult issue arose, they handled it beyond our satisfaction to make for a wonderful stay in Port Clyde! This was our second time staying in these units, and we hope to come back for more.

Clean, cozy and awesome location and view.

This rental is clean, comfortable and everything you need. Great view and loved sitting out by fire pit watching the fishing boats come and go. Great location and within easy walking distance to general store and other great foods and pastries/goodies. Port Clyde is a great harbor to hang out at and away from busy towns but yet close enough to travel to other towns for the day or take the boat over to the island. Would stay here and the area again.
