The house is absolutely beautiful. It is better than expected. Everything you can think of is there. The pool and back patio area were a delight. We loved the dock area for fishing and great views of nature and boats. The area is quiet and peaceful. Great beaches and restaurants are a short drive in any direction. Michele our host is outstanding and went above and beyond. Perfect vacation spot for our family.

Where do I begin!!! The place was absolutely spectacular. The minute you walk in the view through the 10ft sliders to the water and pool area is breathtaking. Ritz Carlton fits and finishes. 2 bedrooms with bathroom on a whole seperate wing with pocket doors making completely private. Primary and primary bath were off the hook nice. Like a Roman bathroom with rain showers. The real kicker is the location if you are boaters. 10k hoist was perfect. Took us a leisurely 50 mins to Gasparilla sand bar and Stump pass areas on calm warm waters. Just a real gem of a home and location. Especially for the Price per night. Beautiful house, loved the space and privacy. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We could easily travel an hour or so in any direction to get to many different beaches ,kayaking, restaurants , andshopping. The lanai , pool & spa with the canal view was great . My boys loved being able to fish right out back. Absolutely would stay here again! Thanks Michele!

Wonderful house and host

We have stayed in South Gulf Cove twice now. You will find everything you want or need in close proximity. This property is well maintained, and beautifully decorated. Michelle has gone to great lengths to provide everything you might need during your stay. She is a lovely and responsive host. Cannot forget to mention the pool/spa, it was amazing.

Amazing Home!

Family traveled from Idaho for a week of tarpon fishing. We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect. Super clean with comfy furniture & beds. We really enjoyed the lanai & pool. We wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Relax, relax, relax!

My husband and I really enjoyed our vacation. You couldn’t ask for a more relaxing pool/spa/view. We did have some questions on how to heat the spa, but Michele was super responsive and walked me through everything, also shared a great video which shows you how to run the pool system. The house was well stocked with everything for the kitchen and a bunch of pool toys and beach items (chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc). There were 2 bikes which we rode one day but they could use some repairs to the brakes and gears. Still, it’s a great area to bike around. The neighborhood was super quiet. We saw alligators in the wide canal, lots of birds and lizards. Just be aware it’s mostly a residential area, which we liked, but not close to touristy areas. Venice was about 40 mins away with a nice historical downtown area with shops and restaurants. We golfed at Long Marsh at Rotunda on a rainy day and had the course to ourselves… saw tons of alligators and birds there, it was so fun! Also we highly recommend going down to Gasparilla Island and Boca Grande, a small laid back little island town. The beaches were perfect for shelling and finding sharks teeth- and the water is gorgeous and warm. It’s only about a 20 min drive from the house, so very close. Our only wish was that there were more restaurants close by. However it’s such a relaxing place we would definitely go back! Thank you Michele!

Amazing house!

Beautiful & spacious home

My husband & I spent two weeks in this lovely, well appointed home. The lanai with hot tub & pool were just perfect for private peaceful relaxation. Appreciated the cleanliness & great kitchen since we love to cook. Our host, Michelle was just excellent making sure we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! My husband and I needed a warm get away and this home did just the trick. Michelle the host was wonderful and immediately got back to us with any questions we had. There were plenty of dishes and extras in the home. We enjoyed the pool and spa during the day and then also really enjoyed watching movies in the theater seating at night. Our only regret is we wished we would have rented a boat!
