Beautiful home

The kids enjoyed the pool. It was a very beautiful layout of the home- with the master suite on the one side of the house and the other two bedrooms on the other side. Kitchen was fully stocked. We also enjoyed the fishing off the dock. Thank you.

Perfect family vacation

Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your vacation home. It was absolutely perfect for our family and so well stocked. We had an amazing time and made so many new and lasting family memories. The beaches are so close to the property it made it a breeze to visit eighth beaches while we were there, and then it was great to come home rinse off and enjoy the pool and dock. My husband and son caught several fish from the dock including a young Bull shark which we caught and released. Every restaurant we ate while we were there was great with great food and friendly staff. Big D’s doughnuts by far the best doughnuts we have ever had. Thank you again for your hospitality we hope to stay here again in the future.

Drove to Port Charlotte to give my mom the opportunity to see her friend she hadn't seen in years. Port Charlotte was hot with not too much to do, but this property allowed us a very relaxing vacation with the pool and waterway.

Another Great Stay at Ray of Sunshine!

We have stayed at this home many times over the years and love it! The house is spacious and clean, and the outdoor space is spectacular! We swam several times a day and ate every meal outside. The optional safety gate around the pool gives us great peace of mind with two 4 year olds. My son loves fishing off the dock too. Very close to Fisherman's Village, shopping, restaurants and the airport. It is home away from home and is our 'go to' rental when visiting my son and family in Florida!

Sisters trip

Sisters trip to visit bother in FL, very nice place. Spacious and comfy……pool was great to relax in the afternoon. Beds were super comfy , bathrooms good, kitchen well stocked. Would definitely stay here again. The only critique would be maybe swept/wiped down a bit more. Not a deal breaker …. Looking forward to coming back soon!!!!

Rock Creek Rocks!

We love staying at this property and do so several times a year. It is always immaculate and we appreciate they provide enough supplies to get you started for the week. Communication before and during your stay (if needed) is prompt and everything is always taken care of. Although our weather wasn't the best, we were able to take a dip in the heated pool. The house itself is quite roomy and the outdoor space is amazing. We greatly appreciated that the gate around the pool was in place upon arrival too.

Very Good, almost excellent stay

I have very little to complain about with the overall stay at the canal home. The place was clean, spacious and well appointed. Instructions were generally clear and requirements reasonable. We celebrated Christmas there with our son and daughter in law as well as two sets of grandparents that live in the area and everyone was happy with the set. I have two complaints. One is the AC setup. Due to issues with freezing up the AC was set at 75 degrees. This would be fine in July but it was somewhat uncomfortable for people coming from up north in December. In addition the AC cooling was uneven and the back room, where the baby was, was too hot for her to sleep. The ability to at least cool it down a couple of degrees at night would have been good. The other was the master bed. It wasn’t terrible but it is starting to show its age and my wife said the pillows are getting worn out. Other than that the place was great. I’d highly recommend it to a family needing some space to hang out, or enjoy the pool.

A perfect getaway

Just wonderful! Quiet neighborhood. Big beautiful house and best of all, a nice warm pool. My friend and I came to Florida for some much needed downtime. Our stay was amazing and I can’t wait to book again!

Short weekday stay

Stayed at this property for a week while in the area volunteering with hurricane relief effort. Nice, quiet place with all the necessary amenities. Beautiful heated pool was a plus. Only issue we had was with check-in. We weren’t provided access information and had to contact VRBO to reach the owners. Property manager eventually came and took care of things. There was a miscommunication between the owner and manager. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

House was clean, comfortable just what we were looking for. It was close to all the places we needed to go to. They have a cute pool but unfortunately, we were too busy to use it. We spent the days exploring Siesta Key, Fort Myers then coming back to the house and relaxing. Lovely home

Our Happy Place

We just love staying in this home when we visit our children in Florida. It is spacious and clean and fills our every need. The covered lanai is wonderful outdoor space surrounding an awesome heated pool which has a baby fence, making us feel safe and secure with little ones running around. My son loves fishing off the dock. It is a private location in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this house!

Comfortable living

I have stayed at this property for several years now. I especially like the lanai. I grew up with a screen porch but I don’t have one in my home. Consequently I spend a great deal of time on the lanai with its comfortable furniture. It is very private.

Repeat Stay

This was our second stay here and we plan to return for a third next year! The home is exactly as pictured and so wonderful. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood but very conveniently located to so much. The lanai, pool and canal out back are a gem. Communicating with the owner is a breeze and always pleasant. Can't wait to get back there again.

Great place for our family vacation

This was a new area of Florida for us after losing the place we had gone since I was a child and my daughter and granddaughters grew up going to each year so it was very different. But the house was great and the kids loved the pool in the back yard!!! There were good restaurants in the area and a great time was had by all!

Haus mit Bootssteg und Pool - herrlich zum Entspannen

Es gab mit Linda & Ernie netten Kontakt im Vorfeld. Alle Fragen wurden schnell & freundlich beantwortet. Das Haus war wunderbar! Groß, geräumig mit herrlicher überdachter Terrasse, die wir sehr viel genutzt haben. Auch abends kein Problem, da der Außenbereich einen kompletten Mückenschutz hatte. Hier gab es einen großen Esstisch und auch eine gemütliche Sitzgruppe. Der Pool war toll & wir haben ihn ebenfalls viel genutzt. Der Bootssteg war das Highlight für meine Jungs. Hier haben sie viel geangelt & gefangen!! Angelausrüstung ist im Haus vorhanden. Vom Baby Alligator bis zur Schildkröte haben wir alles gesehen. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig. Von hier aus haben wir Ausflüge in die Everglades, nach Key West, Sarasota uvm unternommen. Der schönste Strand war für uns der Strand in Boca Grande. Hier haben wir jedes Mal Manetees gesehen und auch Delfine waren nah am Strand. Das war ein Erlebnis. Wir haben uns hier sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus und die netten Gastgeber nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
