We were looking for a cozy waterfront holiday home where we could relax and chill out away from our busy life for a few days.We absolutely got it. the home itself was clean, cozy, well equipped with everything you need including a beautiful spa bath, but that view is what really sold us I could have spent all of my time out on back veranda .we will definitely be back.

Most of the house was renovated except the Toilet. The toilet door was very bad and the Kitchen tap swivel flew off and I got drenched. Screwed it back on but needs looking at. The only other issue was the series of steps in the back area (probably can't do much about that).Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.Ian

We really enjoyed our stay at Shabby Chic. We hadnt done our local area research so my son was disappointed with the shelly beach and that he couldnt dig a body sized hole (groan) and the tide went out a lot so swimming wasnt possible, but we made the most of evening and morning walks along the beach with our puppers. The sunsets are spectacular and birdlife amazing! The views second to none the pine put front has been trimmed with a lovely little white bench seat so you can relax and take it all in. Absolute relaxation!!! The house had everything we needed, well almost... it was missing a way to dry clothes, so best take a small airer if you intend to do any washing.

The house was nice and the view was lovely. Definitely more a cove than a beach, no swimming for us but the dog loved it. Would suit families with younger children.

We did double up on bringing items listed, then found them at the property anyway- but in which case it was a well-resourced place!

Owner needs to review his don't forget to bring list which I thought for the price was a little unusual as it included bring your own toilet paper! As it turned out most of the items including the toilet paper were supplied. Would making packing a little less burdensome. Very good position and comfortable.

have stayed there before allways nice and tidy, like the new parking area. there was room for the dinghy. very relaxing. might be time to upgrade the quilts. we lost out dog just prior to the trip, and they were very understanding and refunded the extra charge for pet cleaning.

Had a fantastic few days away over the long weekend at this quiet little piece of Port Broughton paradise. Such a relaxing spot, with beautiful views. Huge thanks to David for being a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Shack in Port Broughton. It was clean and comfortable but, most importantly for us, it was pet friendly. In addition, the air conditioner was very efficient and the Internet also worked well. An ideal place for someone wanting to do some fishing. The beach was right on the doorstep but, unfortunately, it is not a swimmer’s beach.

It’s a great place to relax. Read a book, watch a movie. Lagoon is nice during high tide. Only con was that the backyard was not fenced.

We had the most enjoyable stay. The property is beautiful inside and out, and very comfortable. The sunsets are simply breathtaking, and the walks, stunning! We couldn’t recommend this property highly enough. Thank you to David and family for making your beach house available.
