Great house that made for a very pleasant beach experience! View of the beach was just right - close enough to watch and hear the waves but with just enough vegetation and distance between that you’re somewhat protected from the traffic on the beach itself. We very much enjoyed our stay, and those Helix mattresses on the king and queen beds were amazing!

Very nice property, accommodated our family of eight adults and five kids. Nice spacious bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked!! Anna answered any question that I had, about the property and Beach access.I loved being on the end of the road, where there wasn’t any traffic. We were second road, but there was nothing across from us so it was like being on the first row.

Great Beach Stay!

Thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful home. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with family, and we loved being so close to the beach, it made it easy to walk back and forth throughout the day.A couple of notes for future guests: the refrigerator wasn’t clean when we arrived, and we weren’t sure where to find the laundry bags mentioned in the instructions. Also, the directions for the key were a bit confusing, it was actually near the front door, not by the shower as noted. It might help to update those details for future stays.Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you again!

Amazing vacation

This beach house was amazing. Waking up each morning to a cup of coffee, sitting on the porch with spectacular views. Walking distance to the beach was a short walk. Everyone totally enjoyed this trip. The master bathroom was beautiful. Our host, Anna was amazing also. Answered our questions within minutes. This was a life saver.

Perfect location close to the beach

Great communication with the host before booking, during and after the stay. House is in a great location near many other things to do. Interior is spacious and the sun room and multi decks had great views.

Gorgeous welcoming home in a great location, close to everything you will need.

We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home. Everyone had their space and it was immaculate. Close to everything you would need. If I could give them 10 star reviews I would. If you like oceanfront views, quietness, relaxing on the decks with comfortable. Outdoor furniture, this is your place. We're so glad we stayed at The Queen.

Great beach house

We enjoyed the house. It was as nice as the pictures. There was a great variety of cooking utensils ample spices and sheets and towels. Great ocean views. We had a great family stay with guests ranging 69 -3 years of age. The host was very attentive and solved all our small problems as they arose. We were extremely pleased with this rental. We will be back.

Shhh…I probably shouldn’t tell you…

…this, but our 5-night stay @ The Queen on Crystal Beach was absolutely fantastic! The property is located on the second row, however because there’s no house directly in front of The Queen, it’s like being on the first row. The view of the gulf from the house is absolutely Mesmerizing & the sound of the waves crashing is soothing to the soul. It’s a *very* short walk to the sand. The details of this home were just as pictured. There were a couple happy little surprises – – the outstanding walk-in shower in the primary bedroom, the coziness of the living room and that fabulous, extra- wide deck with comfortable furniture for lounging & a bar-height table n chairs for enjoying a meal or a activity. We had 1 very minor issue, we called and it was resolved within the hour. Communication was excellent, personable and immediate. Taylor, Whitney, Anna are all-stars! We especially appreciated the very generous allocation of towels. One member of our party is very particular about white towels only and this person was *very* pleased. We never know what to expect with beds in a STR. One member of our party has some back issues, so we try to be very flexible to accommodate their comfort. The beds here run towards the softer side and were comfortable for everyone else. The Queen is located near other similar homes—it was peaceful & quiet, which was our desire. We are already planning to return. If you visit, don’t forget your Binoculars for watching passing ships. 🛳️

Beautiful Home

A group of us stayed at this home as my husband’s firefighter crew goes to the beach this time each year. The home owner was super helpful with answering all our questions. The home is beautiful and has everything you may need to enjoy your stay. We have zero complaints and would recommend anyone to stay here.

Family time

Incredible 4th of July!!!

Thanks for hosting our multi-family getaway!! The property is ideally located with access to the beach and a great patio for enjoying the unobstructed view. Anna was very responsive and the home is perfect for friends and families looking to get away. In addition, easy access into Galveston, local restaurants/shops and a full grocery store within minutes of the house. We especially enjoyed the frozen drinks drive thru and donut shop at the end of the road. For our first visit to Galveston, could not have asked for a better host. We'll be back!!

Beautiful Home with a view!

We have rented several homes in the last couple of years and this home by far was one of the top two. It was a great place to spend my 41st birthday with my family. It was well supplied with everything you could need at a home away from home. The pictures were accurate to the actuality. The view was beautiful. The hostess was responsive. We would highly recommend it to friends and family. And we will definitely return. We wouldn’t mind a hot tub next time around :)

Family Christmas

Our stay at The Queen was wonderful. We are from the upper midwest with family in the Houston area and thought this would be a great location to host our family Christmas get together, and it was. Our group consisted of 3 families that included 4 teenagers. The house was perfect for this with three separate bedrooms and the bunk room with 4 bunks, giving everyone their own space. The bunks are even separated in the middle so the teens got a little privacy too. The master suite was amazing. A huge walk in shower and closet and all the beds were so comfortable. With the cooler weather (highs in the mid 60s), we did spend more time in the house, just hanging with family. The open living room/dining room/kitchen was perfect for this and our group of 10. Some would watch a movie on the big screen, others would play games at the table while someone was cooking and everyone was still in the same room. The only thing that could be improved is having more and better pots and pans. It was tough cooking for our group with what was there. The deck was great for sitting on in the mornings watching the sun rise or just hanging out in the evening. The deck furniture was very comfortable and there was plenty of seating for everyone. With the open lot in front of the house, the view is great. The beach is just a short walk away (less than a block) but the mosquitos were a little pesky on the walk there due to the taller grass near the sand dunes so pack some bug spray.

A Lil’ R-n-R

We enjoyed our visit!!! It’s great to find a nice clean place to rest, relax, and visit with family. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck (patio furniture is very comfortable). Our little babies, Ellie and Brodie (Yorkies), especially enjoyed napping on the deck and playing on the beach. Ellie and Brodie highly recommend this beach house!
