Family Beach Getaway

We had a fabulous time at Sandy Cheeks. The proximity to the beach can't be beat, and the layout of the home was perfect for our needs. The home is beautifully decorated, and the upstairs game room was an added plus. I highly recommend staying here.

great beach rental

lots of Pros: Definitely great communication with property management, Lots of emails and updates sent in case you forget something. The hot tub on deck is awesome, way better than under the house like most. Great views, huge solid chairs with cushions and large round tables on deck, good size kitchen, everyone eats on the island table. Coffee pot and K-Cup were both used- Coffee pot came with metal filter which was great- programming it for morning coffee was difficult but we just like to wake up to coffee-lol. TV is every room was awesome, comfy couch and lots of seating in living room, Right on the beach and only one house right next door so little people traffic. The Life was fabulous and a game changer with all our stuff. My family enjoyed not carrying up flights of stairs. We also enjoyed having 3 bedrooms downstairs, the upstairs had a game room with a queen and a full bed in the game room. My adult kids were looking forward to air hocky and the pacman console but they both had lagging issues, foosball was fun though. Going to Pleasure Pier wasn't bad- but defiantly check the website wait time on the ferry before going. The Tajuana Fish restaurant was our families favorite and Stingaree was not worth the money. I don't usually say this- but I WOULD stay at this rental again- I only need to bring my griddle for morning pancakes-lol

Best gulf of America rental yet!

We rent a beach house on average twice a year for family fun on the Gulf shoreline. This home and host were great, location the best for a less commercial experience. We got to see pelicans and dolphins from the balcony!!! One of the crew caught fish from the shore in front of the house. House welllStocked with cooking supplies and place settings. We had two days of stay inside weather and the house was enjoyable and the hot tub was amazing. Family is asking for a repeat trip to this location.

Sandy Cheeks was Amazing!

We had such a great stay at Sandy Cheeks! The house is spacious with a lot of great amenities such as the game room and hot tub. The location to the beach was amazing! We were able to see dolphins from the deck! Highly recommend!

Perfect Views

This house was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and spacious and had room for everyone in our group! The house was very clean and well kept. The views were very relaxing and peaceful! Having the ocean right outside our front door was nice since we didn't have to load the kids in the vehicle and drive. Communication with the host was very responsive even before the trip started. I would recommend putting the pin location in your phone as the address does take you about 10miles further down from the actual house. We will be keeping this house in mind for future family/friend vacations.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful home, very clean. Beautiful view! We visited during the end of January and had the beach to ourselves. We loved it, the dogs loved it. We are going home with shells of ALL different shapes and sizes! One thing that could be better, was having less tables outside. The balcony was crowded.

Annual Family Beach Trip

We had an awesome time despite the weather. There was 8 of us and we had plenty of room. Love the large bar/table where we could all eat and play games together. Nothing better than being directly on the beach-which is a must for this family.

Awesome Vacation Beach House

This is our second year in a row staying at this beach house and we had a wonderful time again! The beach house is beautiful, the location is amazing being right on the beach, and the family had the best time. So relaxing and quiet. The owners are great and very responsive and make sure our stay is always the best! We will be back again!

Birthday Weekend

The house is located on a less traveled end of Bolivar. Nice to walk on the beach with very little traffic. Floorplan is well done. Plenty of private bedrooms and a wonderful loft for our teenage daughters. Favorite part is the huge table in the kitchen. Great for gathering everyone together. It was clean and communication with management was great. I would recommend this house for any size group.

This house is awesome!

This house is awesome and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great covered porch, spacious kitchen, tons of room, and all the supplies you’d need. Right on the beach with great views in all directions. Everything was in great condition and perfect for our group and puppers!

sandy cheeks vacation

we arrived after dark and had a hard time finding the property...............I was looking for a blue/green house..........which it is on the front.............but not on the back. The hot water was not hot enough, the sink leaked, and the outdoor water handle broke. We called and they came right out and fixed it. So glad for that. The location was amazing..........Right ON the beach........just a very short walk to the water. We like to cook and found the kitchen lacking. Would have been nice to have a kitchenaid mixer, a round pizza pan, a better pastry brush, more storage containers with lids. The stove and oven worked great. The barbeque grill was very basic and old. The house itself was great........great seating in the kitchen with enought stools around the counter for 9 people. Lots of counter space to prepare food on. lots of bedrooms and beds. There was no hairdryer in my bathroom. My bathroom could use some non skid bathroom rugs...........towels on the floor. The stairs to the house were endless.............haha. the outdoor eating area was nice as was the deck in front of the house. We had a great time. Just a few quirks to overcome.

Vacation getaway

We usually take a vacation every summer with grandkids, grandparents, parent's, grown kids, siblings nieces and nephews. The house is noisy and kids are everywhere but the time together is priceless. Memaw and Pepaw (my husband and I) stayed in the loft with all of the grandkids to let their parent's have a couple of nights to their selves.We had memories of a lifetime. Thank you Sandy Cheeks! We had a blast!

Great Summer Vacation

This was a fantastic home and location for a family vacation. It was clean, quiet, right on the beach, and was exactly as it was listed. The area is beautiful and we will definitely be back because we all had a great time and didn't want to leave!

Summer Fun at Sandy Cheeks

What an amazing home! We stayed at Sandy Cheeks for a 4 generation Family Vacation!!! Everything was perfect! Everything we needed was available. The decorations throughout the house were spot on for a beach house…a lot of thought was put in to make this a fun and comfortable stay. The rooms were perfect…everyone had their own space and we weren’t on top of each other. The deck and view was fantastic…right on the beach, steps to the water. I highly recommend Sandy Cheeks as the perfect beach house to stay at…and we look forward to returning sometime soon!!!

Great location on beach-great shells

Stayed with husband and four teens. Plenty of space for all, and kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Water pressure in shower somewhat low, but plenty of hot water. Would stay again.

Great family getaway

Spent a couple days at this house with the family and dogs between Xhristmas and New Years. Easy access to the beach and house was just as expected. Lots of space for large groups both inside and out. Don’t hesitate to stay at this property.
