We had an enjoyable Christmas vacation at this cabin. The cabin itself was in great condition and, for the most part, very clean. However, upon arrival we noticed that two of the pull-out beds had stains that appeared to resemble urine. Because of this, we chose not to use those pull-out beds, which was an inconvenience and only resolved because we had packed an air mattress.On a positive note, there was plenty of space for entertaining, and the cabin offered great access to the beach. Future guests may also want to bring additional sheets to ensure all beds are adequately covered, as well as extra blankets for added comfort. Overall, it’s a nice property, but addressing the bedding issues would greatly improve the experience.

We chose this house for our 5th annual staff retreat, and it gave us plenty of room to mingle, play games, lounge around, and have alone time. Downstairs hall bathrooms were so convenient. The kitchen was fabulously stocked (and sparkling clean). Bathrooms were well-stocked with TP, hand soap, shampoo, etc. We spent most of our time outside, enjoying the spectacular view and direct, private access to the beach.Our overall rating is "good," rather than "excellent" due to the condition of a few things, like the outdoor furniture (unsteady or unusable) and the towels. The good news is that all, we have been told, are being replaced, repaired or upgraded.We didn't receive check-out instructions by email (probably a VRBO error), so we consulted the book. To our surprise, guests were advised to wash, dry and return the towels to their proper bathrooms. This added an ick element to the less than fresh feeling our towels had. Before reserving, we suggest contacting the owner to see if this policy is still in place. If so, we recommend taking the towels on a trip to the washing machine before use.The owner responded quickly (usually immediately) to our questions and was helpful."Just Breathe" is a beautiful, spacious home. If the outdoor furniture is repaired, and the towel situation is improved, you'll surely rate this property as EXCELLENT.

Beautiful home, very clean, and multiple spaces for our family to spread out in. The kitchen is well equipped for a large group. We looked through all the cupboards and could not find a toaster and the blender did not work well, so if you want toast and smoothies, I'd recommend bringing a toaster and blender. The ensuite bathrooms are a huge bonus for a beach house. Beach access is conveniently close. Our family had a wonderful week's stay at Just Breathe and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house and amenities! We had a great stay and enjoyed the direct walkover beach access and luggage lift. Great communication from host. Only downside is some things were worn out/broken in the house - oven, microwave, grill and towels, but with a little more attention to those items this house will be unbeatable.

We had a great weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would definitely rent this house again. It was fully stocked and lovely. The only two things to prepare for: there are a ton of stickers in the playground yard! Don’t go barefoot!! And the grill hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a while.

This house was amazing for our family of 13! We had plenty of space where we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other and all the bathrooms were great. We also thoroughly enjoyed the bar area downstairs and was such a nice feature for when my husband and I were cooking for everyone each evening. Our kids loved the play set along with all the area to play baseball in the evenings. We really hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this beautiful home on the beach. Beach access was perfect as was everything about the house! Has all the amenities you need for a fun, relaxing get-a-way! Loved it so much, we booked again for next summer! Looking forward to June, 2026!!

So much space!

Super vacation. It was nice to have so much room to spread out. Our kids LOVED the hot tub and the shuffleboard. The kitchen had nice supplies and we just couldn’t have asked for anything better from the host and property.

great for families

The gates on the decks, around the yard, and to the beach access made this trip with my 4 toddler grandchildren so pleasant--Thank you! Also, the bedrooms were separated enough that all rooms were quiet--couldn't hear the crying baby--so all could get a good night's sleep--Thank you! The house and deck are large enough for my family of 11- it never felt crowded. Best house I have rented for this multi-generational group...and the working elevator----priceless!!! We will be back!

Wonderful place

We had an excellent time. Supermoon over the beach was gorgeous! High tide and a coastal flooding warning meant no partiers on the beach at night. Carrin and Steve do a great job. Steve came over when we had some trouble getting the fireplace started and got it going for us. He even went out and picked up some AA batteries for a t.v. remote. Excellent/prompt communication. Everything was nice and clean. Very well stocked kitchen as far as pots/pans/utensils/dinnerware/cups/serving pieces (I'm the chef of our group). Bring all your own food/spices. There are a few, like salt and some interesting things it looks like other guests may have left. There's a drip coffee pot (plenty of filters in the cabinet, as well as ground coffee, and a box of hot cocoa) and a Keurig, but there were only 3 pods for it. I grind my own beans and use a French press, so I brought everything we needed, but I just wanted to give others an idea of what to expect. Bring your own parchment paper, aluminum foil, cling wrap, and Ziplock bags. You may want to pack your own laundry detergent. We used the grill and it worked just fine. Used the outdoor kitchen/bar to make a huge batch of fried shrimp for all our guests/family, and played the Laid Back Beach station through the Pandora app on the outdoor t.v. - we had a blast! We would definitely stay here again.
