Great home for large family

The house is quite large, spacious, very comfortable and beautiful. Every summer we rent a beach home for the entire family of 15. This year, we spent the Fourth of July there. Every evening people popped professional quality fireworks on the beach. This home is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is located on beach front property.

Perfect for large families

Beautiful, large, clean home with beautiful view of ocean! Home was well stocked and ALL beds were so comfortable! Even the bunks feel private. Had a couple small issues and they were handled quickly. Definitely recommend this place!

Super Family Vacation Home!

What a beautiful, spacious home for our family of 18! Every family had their own large room and the teens had theirs. It was great having 4 1/2 baths. There was an abundance of bath and beach towels. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. We all enjoyed the ice machine! The amount of beach toys, chairs, etc. they provided was more than enough. And the location of being right on the beach was perfect! When everyone (especially the teenagers) told us the house was WONDERFUL, we knew we had made the right choice and would definitely do it again! Mike and Pat S.

Loved the house!

House was exactly as listed. When we arrived we were very happy with the house. It was very spacious and clean. Barbara was great to work with. She was very quick to respond to any of our questions. As for proximity to the beach — you can’t get any closer than the Lime in the Coconut!

Home away from home!

We absolutely love Lime in the Coconut! It’s the perfect house and location for a large family who loves to bring their friends along to play. This is the 2nd summer staying here and it was just as epic. We had perfect weather and the backyard is amazing to hold our annual wiggle ball games! The beds are super comfy and cozy. Enough seating for everyone. If I owned a beach house I’d want it to be exactly like this! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and giving us a space to make amazing summer memories!

This is was a very special family reunion. Some family members reuniting after 40 years! Amazing.

The property is perfect in more ways than can even express. Location is perfect in relation to the sea as well as general store. The actual house is done so very well. so flexible for any family combination. Decorated sensibly and HAPPY. The property mgr Barbara was informative, professional, kind and graceful. The entire experience was easy, happy and magical... May family and I are greatful.

Wife's 50th Birthday & New Years Eve Gathering

The place is a Palace! Beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. Located in the heart of Crystal Beach with a sunrise view that'll leave you speechless! We had a wonderful time celebrating my Wife's birthday with family and friends. The rental agreement at first seemed unreasonable, so make sure you read it before you commit. Otherwise, another great VRBO experience!

Great Property - enjoyed the stay

This is a great property. Very clean and one of the best we stayed in this area over the years. There is enough room for a big group and still felt spacious. Beds linen kitchen bathrooms all were excellent. There are some extra instructions to wash linen and all. Recommend to be aware and follow it. All in all i wpuld recommend this property over any other property we stayed in the area over the years. Check in and check out is very smooth with key box. Tv and internet worked great. Its right on the beach. Highly recommend this property for any family/friend group visiting this area.

Beautiful Beachfront House...with some caveats

This luxury beachfront house was great overall for our small family vacation. We had 10 family members in the house and had plenty of room to spread out. The house is beachfront, but we also rented golf carts to shuttle people and stuff back and forth from the beach which was really helpful. We have rented a lot of places and this house had more than the typical VRBO property as far as amenities - from the kitchen to the Xbox/board games to a garage closet full of beach toys and chairs. A few things to note if you stay here: Take extra trash bags and paper towels with you....they provide some, but it may not be enough depending on how long you stay. Be prepared to have to wash towels and sheets before you leave or they will charge you if you leave more than 3 loads of laundry for them to do (we knew ahead of time, but it's still annoying and can take hours of your trip...it's not something any other VRBO has ever required me to do...they do have 2 sets of washer/dryers which helps). They have cameras everywhere outside the property and it was hard not to feel like we were being watched (and maybe listened to) every time we were outside. I was super excited they had a shuffleboard table, but it sucks to play on...it needs more sand and they don't have extra sand around the edges for you to spread back on the table. Be aware that the steps going up to the house are wood, but somehow VERY slippery with sand that blows on to them (and be even more careful if they are wet). 3 out of the 10 people in our group slipped and fell at various points in the trip - a toddler and adult male fell and hit their heads on the steps and an adult female slipped and broke her ankle on the steps. The owners need to add something on the steps to allow more grip, but until that happens, be careful when going up and down. This beach allows cars to drive up and down it. We weren't prepared for the constant parading of people in trucks/dune buggies/golf carts going up and down the beach driving recklessly and parading offensive flags (Fu*k Biden, hand with a middle finger, etc). I have been to many parts of the Texas coast and had never experienced anything like this before. While the house was lovely, I don't know that I care to ever return to this specific beach due to the inconsideration of the other people that apparently visit this beach. If you are a Trump supporter, this is probably the perfect place for you to go.
