Nice Beach House

Great house right on the beach with easy access. Very clean and has a large porch with chairs, swings, tables. The island did lose power twice for long periods of time but that wasn’t a house issue. Would stay again.

New Year's Eve Vacation

My husband and I arrived on the 27th and stayed until the 1st. With winter beach weather, we didn't swim but took great walks on the beach. The fireworks on NYE were an added delight. The location is fantastic!! We had a few problems -- the water had been turned off due to the freeze the week before and never really got hot enough. The oven was also weak in reaching temperature. The kitchen said it was a gourmet kitchen, and for beach life rentals, it was -- but look around and you will find what you need. The organization was rental levels, so it was hard to find some of the things there, but I assure you, it was well equipped. BYOP (bring your own pillow :) But all in all, the LOCATION is to write home about. Steps from the beach. The house is nicely decorated. The place was clean and well maintained.

Better than we imagined!

The entire process was seamless and easy. Communication was top notch! The house was just as described and very, very clean upon arrival. The kitchen was well appointed with all you would need to prepare meals, etc. The views.... incredible! We cannot wait to book the house again next fall!

Great location!

This was a great property right on the beach with easy beach access either walking or driving! The property accommodated our family of 6 perfectly, with room to spare. It was clean, and had all of the amenities of home. The ONLY complaints I have is that the internet was not reliable, it went out a lot, and the TV relies on the internet, and the master bed was extremely uncomfortable and very noisy. It was just way to firm for us. Other than that, I highly recommend this beachfront property, and we plan to visit again next summer!

Such a beautiful beach house!

Such a beautiful beach house! The home is clean, open, and spacious for the 7 of us. The bedrooms are a perfect size, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to prepare yourself a meal or a cup of coffee. We loved the house's location, which is within walking distance of the beach. Great for kids! Host makes quick responses—. This will be the only place I stay if available when I come back. Don't forget to bring bug spray!!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our first time vacationing to Texas and it was a great experience! The house is steps away from the beach, making it very easy to go back and forth with young kids. The house and beachfront were very clean! We absolutely enjoyed hanging out on the deck overlooking the beach- the hammock was a favorite! We did bring a lot of food and toiletry with us, as there was not much provided as staples in the house. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this home and hope we are able to visit next year!

Stress free Weekend

We booked the house for my kids senior prom and family get away. The big kids had fun at their friends beach houses and the little one, my husband and I enjoyed this one. It has the perfect view, very well stocked, and super clean. For sure will stay here again.

Great location with a few challenges

The house is amazingly beautiful and well-stocked. The location is 5 stars. The reason for the 4-star review is a challenge we had with ants. We contacted management as soon as we saw them (1 pm) - in the bedroom where the kids were sleeping. The response was "I doubt I can get an exterminator out this afternoon due to the holiday." It was Wednesday, December 29th. Fortunately, the Big Store has everything, and we were able to pick up ant bait and get rid of them. Also, just a heads-up about the area, there are very few regulations regarding things like fireworks which went off every night we stayed (Dec 26-30) and as late as 1:30 in the morning. Ugh! But, the ocean is beautiful, and the house is a reflection of nature's beauty which made it all a little less stressful.
