THE SPACE Step inside to a beautifully remodeled interior, thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The open living area features a cozy wood-burning fireplace—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Olympic National Park.
The home comfortably accommodates guests with: - Two spacious king suites (one with a private balcony) - One additional bedroom with a plush queen bed - Two full bathrooms located on the upper level *Please note: all bathing facilities (showers and tubs) are located upstairs and require the use of stairs.*
You’ll also find a dedicated laundry room with new appliances and comfortable, high-quality linens throughout.
The full kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and gathering—whether it’s a slow morning breakfast or a family-style dinner after a day outdoors.

The Freshwater Bay public boat launch is just 1 mile away, and the Olympic Discovery Trail is a short drive—or bike ride—from the property.
By booking this home and confirming this reservation, the primary booking guest agrees to complete the required online check-in form prior to arrival. Completion of the online check-in form confirms that the guest has received, read, understands, and agrees to comply with all house rules, safety instructions, occupancy limits, and property policies.
The primary booking guest accepts full responsibility for the conduct, safety, and compliance of all occupants, invitees, and visitors associated with the reservation.
Guests acknowledge that the property includes features and amenities that may present inherent risks. Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the property and agree to release and hold harmless the property owner and host from liability for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage occurring during the stay, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Failure to complete the required check-in agreement or comply with property rules may result in cancellation of the reservation, denial of access to the property, removal from the property, and/or additional fees as permitted by platform policies and applicable law. - Maximum number of guests not to exceed 6.
- No pets without prior written approval and payment of pet fee.
- Only use the fireplace / fire pit if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fireplace, fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the woodstove – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters, Duraflame Logs, and this goes for the fire pit as well. Please note that the fireplace keeps the entire home warmer, is safer, and the wood lasts longer when the fireplace/stove doors are closed. A large amount of heat radiates from the cast iron stove heating up the entire home. Please keep the fireplace screen in front of the fireplace stove when in use for safety.
- Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.
- This house uses a septic system; ONLY toilet paper can be flushed.
- Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in the hamper located in each bedroom, you know the basic stuff. It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
- We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in the house.
- Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.
- Please be respectful of our neighbors. You`d be surprised how sound travels through the neighborhood, please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.
- Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.
-No smoking of anything allowed indoors, smoke it outside please and please dispose of cigarette butts appropriately.
- We are honored you decided to choose Cozy Conifer Cottage, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. Any such behavior will result in immediate removal from the property.
- Please stay out of the garage and areas around the garage. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.
- PARKING – Parking is limited to 4 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked on the driveway only. Any illegally parked cars in the community are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Please stay off the grass with vehicles.
- Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to Cozy Conifer Cottage or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.
- Check-out: - Want to stay an extra hour or so? Should be fine but requires approval, let us know in advance. Guests will be charged an extra $25 for unapproved late check out; check out time is 11:00am UNLESS otherwise approved with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.
- We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.
- Please do not play with or tamper with the decorations on walls or shelves. These are for guests to enjoy, not for play. Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancellation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.
License to Occupy Only; No Landlord-Tenant Relationship. Guest acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement creates a revocable license to occupy the Property for transient lodging purposes only. This Agreement is not a lease, does not convey any real-property interest, and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship under any state or local law.
Primary Guest Responsible for All Occupants. The individual who books the reservation (“Primary Guest”) hereby accepts full legal and financial responsibility for (a) themselves, (b) all other guests, occupants, invitees, visitors, or persons allowed onto the Property (“Additional Guests”), regardless of whether such persons have signed this Agreement. Primary Guest represents and warrants that all Additional Guests shall comply with all rules, policies, and terms of this Agreement. Any breach of this Agreement by an Additional Guest shall be deemed a breach by the Primary Guest. Indemnification and Hold Harmless.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Guest and all Additional Guests shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Property Manager, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, attorney fees, or costs arising out of or related to: (a) Guest’s or any Additional Guest’s use or occupancy of the Property; (b) violations of this Agreement or House Rules; (c) personal injury, death, or property damage occurring on or about the Property; (d) actions or omissions of Additional Guests, invitees, or third parties allowed onto the Property. This indemnity applies even if only the Primary Guest executes this Agreement.
Responsibility for Unauthorized Guests. Primary Guest is responsible for ensuring that no person enters or occupies the Property unless disclosed to the Owner or Property Manager. Primary Guest shall be liable for the conduct, damages, and violations caused by any unauthorized guest, whether known to primary guest or not.
