Peaceful Retreat

We love this place. This is our second stay at this location and our third stay with this property owner. All amenities are well maintained. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed. We've used the hot tub and fire pit on both trips. The house is tucked into the woods and although there are neighbors, we did not hear them. The creek is charming. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a good book or refreshing beverage. The location is also great. Not too far from the real world, but just far enough to hear the crickets. We bring our college aged kids, and they love it. We most definitely will be back.

EVEN BETTER THE SECOND TIME

My Husband booked this great place again. Our stay was even better than the last one we had. We love out of the way quiet places and this one is totally AWESOME to us. We're looking forward to our next time we get to stay again.

This was an awesome place ! It was so peaceful and it was Beautiful , located in the woods. We have family located in the area and in Louisiana. We would LOVE to stay there again in the future.

Awesome Cabin

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Sitting out by the creek watching the grandchildren on the kayaks making memories. We had an AWESOME time. Second year staying here as a family get away.

What a great place! So many fun things to do outdoors! Our son loved going to the water and running around outside! I loved that the kitchen had everything needed to make great meals! And have my coffee in the morning. The balcony is amazing. Thank you for letting us stay!

Fun first vacation with the kids.

The property is nice and secluded with everything you need. The kids really enjoyed the creek, but as we were leaving we saw an alligator in the creek from the bridge which was just around the bend from where we were. We stopped to make sure that’s what we saw, and it swam away while we were watching. We plan to return, but will be a little more aware with going in and out of the creek.

Family getaway

A perfect hideaway just far enough away from civilization. The cabin was well-stocked (more than the usual VRBO rental), clean, and exactly as described. The owners were so responsive and friendly, and provided everything we needed for a great stay. Everything was well-thought out by the owners who clearly care about their guests having a great time. It was easy to cook in the kitchen, and the grill was perfect. Being so close to the creek was the real draw for my kids, who absolutely fell in love with exploring with the kayaks and wading in the cool water. Overall, a lovely experience.

Absolutely amazing

Absolutely beautiful cabin and property. Very peaceful and secluded. Communication with the owner was excellent. Cabin was well prepared with anything we could of needed and very clean. Have absolutely no complaints.

Peace and Quiet

This cabin was very clean, comfortable and spacious. It was well stocked and offered peace, quiet and privacy. We felt safe during a bad storm and were able to enjoy the creek for one afternoon during our stay. We had a wonderful time and recommend this cabin highly.

Spring break getaway

My family had a wonderful time fishing, playing in the creek, kayaking, playing in the sand, sitting in the hot tub, and sitting by the outdoor firepit. The cabin was cozy and worked perfectly for the 4 of us.

Great weekend getaway

Family enjoyed our trip to this cabin. Melissa did a great job with all the amenities. Fireplace and fire pit were big hit. Also kids loved the hot tub.
