"So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). "Everything I wanted and more. Great location for taking in the shops and restaurants of Poole. Easy walk from the train station and just minutes to the touristic ferries. "Ideally situated for a good walk between Sandbanks and Bournemouth. The food is lovely and has a good choice of gluten free meals, which was good for me, this also applied to the breakfast. The rooms could do with a bit of redecorating but perfectly adequate. "We had a lovely holiday in Poole, The Antelope Hotel is well placed for the quay, not the best for the older generation as there was a lot of stairs and no lift, I think the hotel needs an up grade, the staff were all lovely and friendly, and you could not fault the food, lovely garden, lively area,and they do allow dogs."

"We really enjoyed this hotel. We took our twin baby boys on their first trip away and it was so easy. The 2 beds in the family room made it so effortless. The breakfast was fantastic, being vegetarian, breakfast can always be bland for us in hotels but the options were some of the best we’ve had and they tasted so fresh. We’ll be coming back, even if it’s just for the breakfast. "
