Unique and Perfect!

My wife and I stayed at this amazing property for a our anniversary in September 2024. Such a unique beach house with sweeping ocean views. The home itself is laid out perfectly and was stocked with everything we needed. We spent the majority of the trip sitting on the huge back patio and walking our pup along the wide, lovely beach. Great location just outside the congestion of downtown, but still within a short drive. My wife and I love unique properties and this one did not disappoint...in a great way! We definitely plan on coming back!

Lovely house

We spent one week in the Blue Octagon. The rooms are well-furnished, with comfortable mattresses and bedding. The bathrooms are modern. The master bedroom overlooks the ocean. Kitchen is well stocked and view is spectacular! We loved the house! 4 of us and one dog. The back deck is a blessing with the gate. It allowed our dog to go on the deck without worry.

Perfect location!

The house is as described and pictured with the modern updates. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities. We appreciated that it had beach chairs and umbrella to use. We loved that it was a quiet area of the beach, walking down the steps off the deck, and feeling almost like we had our own private beach. It was so worth it to not have to cross that busy highway to get on the beach!!If we come back to this area again, would definitely rent this house!

Can’t beat the view!!

Absolutely incredible views and beach access. The beach was quiet - absolutely perfect for a family spring break getaway. Waking up to the sunrise on the water was unforgettable. And the kids and I loved spotting dolphins!Location was very convenient to hit the sights and dinner in St. Augustine. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful beach getaway.

Perfect Beach Vacation

If you are looking for serenity, this is the place. A beach right outside your doors. Non-stop windows facing the water allow you to enjoy the waves inside or a big deck for the full outdoor experience. Kitchen is fully stocked and the beds comfortable. To top it off….it is just minutes from St Augustine. It was the perfect beach vacation.

Great Property

This is the second year in a row that we have rented this property for Spring Break. It is a great value and super unique. Fits our family perfectly. We had a couple of small logistical issues with the property, but Jean was very responsive to meet our needs. Will definitely rent again.

We all enjoyed our stay at Octagon Blue for my husband's 50th birthday. It was our first time visiting this area in Florida. Loved the circular home and the decor. Great week and fun times.

Perfect new years get away

Such a unique home that makes perfect use of the octagon space, including a sizableMB with lounge area for quiet time. The views are amazing and the beach feels like old Florida. No crowds at all. I will definitely stay here again.

Misleading booking information/exterior cleanliness

Inaccurate descriptions of the property in the listing. The exterior reading nook that is seen in your pictures on the balcony walk way was not there, including we were under the impression the back deck was fairly new and nails/screws wouldn't been protruding out of the wood to catch our feet on. Also the sliding glass door did not lock properly and once closed it is very difficult to reopen from outside. And the other rear door was difficult to open/close and the door lock was rusty making it difficult to lock daily. The deck gate hindge screws are rusted out or loose causing it to drag badly against the deck. Also there were lots of trash, leftover rubbish from the remodel under the deck including nails, gutter trimmings and at the septic clean out there was a used tampon on the ground for the children to find and ask questions about. Interior was nice, the ac was great, the home was very unique and nice. The beach was conveniently in the back yard and secluded with beautiful in home views. But it is very Disturbing, how much debris was there and other mentioned issues considered the cost of the booking. The conditions were not expected considering the estimated value of the home and the current exterior pictures that were seen in the listing. I ntioned everything that I have put here to Owner prior to reviewing and only received an apology and a statement that they would clean property and update photos. they are not interesting in having repeat customers, only i

Amazing

Our family had a wonderful time! Beautiful ocean sunrises and dolphins every morning. We will for sure be back to stay. Easy to contact the owner with any questions we had. We were provided with many extras (boogie boards, beach chairs to name a couple). We loved the unique structure of the octagon house and the large deck overlooking the beach and ocean. 10/10 recommendation
