We stayed here during the school Summer holidays in 2018. As a result we paid a premium price tag for a week. We really loved the outside area, beautiful views, fabulous pool and gorgeous fruit trees and land around the property. The inside was very clean. However, unfortunately we found the interior not up to our expectations in terms of comfort and quality of fixtures and fittings. The living room and beds are described as ‘comfortable’. The living room sofas felt very hard. It was difficult to get comfortable. The master bedroom and downstairs bedrooms mattresses were the furthest from comfortable I can articulate. We had a lot of bad nights sleep which is really disappointing. The main light in the kitchen didn’t work, the lamp had missing bulbs, there was no space or cupboard for food storage yet a sign on the wall informing us not to leave out food out due to ants, the shower head in the ensuite was very old and didn’t work properly and the TV did not work at all, the channels buffered and you couldn’t watch anything. Had I not paid as much as I did for the week, I might have been more forgiving of some of these shortcomings in comfort and maintenance but am now at home feeling as if I have wasted quite a lot of money. I have explained to the property managers on my return (and indeed let them know of some of the problems whilst I was there). They have apparently relayed my messages to the owner who has refused to give me any money back at all. I stay in many villas and hotels and this has been a very different and disappointing experience.
