We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay at this property. It was clean, well-maintained, the perfect size for our group -- six adults and two teenagers. Anita had everything well organized and was easy to communicate with throughout, from booking to check-in and check-out. This was our 11th year on Long Beach Island and our first stay in Surf City. It was among our best experiences. The propery is four houses from the beach with easy direct access. It is within walking distance to a variety of shopping and entertainment destinations (see listing for specifics). Anita's description of the property and it's surroundings is exactly what you will find. She was an excellent host to deal with. We recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Great location, just a short walk up the street to the beach! Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and everything was clean and well cared for. Communication leading up to the stay was great and we were allowed early access on the day we checked in. Such a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Week in Surf City

When we arrived, the apartment was clean and ready for us to quickly get situated and on the go. Furniture was extremely comfy and the outdoor deck was lovely for a morning coffee or evening drink. Anita was a fantastic communicator, extremely quick w/ responses towards all questions we had (and my family pushed a lot of questions) and accommodating towards possible requests. The location couldn't have been better, 4 houses down from the beach and LBI does a great job of having swim friendly areas consistently throughout the beach, so you're never too far. All in all, we were extremely happy with our stay and with Anita. A couple things we found that didn't detract from the trip but were worth noting. 1) No beach items come with the house. If you need a beach chair or umbrella, you should bring your own. Not a problem as Anita was clear about this, but other houses do come with these. 2) Some of the appliances and electronics could use a refresh. The Coffee Maker's lid is broken, making it hard to pour, it seemed like the microwave had unusual temperature fluctuations a couple of times, and a tv remote where some buttons are pushed all the way through (we brought our amazon stick, so didn't matter beyond trouble with initial set up). None of these affected our stay, and we fully recommend Anita and her home. Thank you!

Perfect location - beach block

Our family had a super week at Anita’s. House had everything we needed and a great grill. 4 houses to the beach. Great set up, the 6 of us had plenty of room and the deck is awesome! Easily walk to coffee, grocery, restaurants, shopping.

LBI family stay

The property was well maintained and very clean. It has all of the amenties that we needed. Anita was very friendly and proactivity communicated about the instructions for arriving and leaving. We stayed there with 6 adults and 1 baby and we were very comfortable. There are individual temperature control units in everyroom that kept us all comfortable.Although there was only 1 bathroom, there is also an outside shower that we used. We were able to walk to many places. Thank you Anita for sharing your property with us.

Great for one family

Great location and nice and clean unit. The only downside is the one bathroom(better for one family) and no dishwasher but that was easy to get around. All in all nice place and the communication with the property owners was great.

Absolutely perfect

I can’t say enough nice things about Anita and her property. The location is amazing, just a few steps to the beach and very quiet but within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Anita was a pleasure to work with, so helpful and communicative. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cookware, the beds are comfortable, and we could hear the ocean waves from the deck. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable, clean, and close to the beach

We had a wonderful, relaxing week away at this apartment. Watching the sunset from the balcony every night was just perfect. (It's also a great place to have your coffee or tea in the morning.) The kitchen is well stocked - which was important for us since we like to cook - and we used the handy backyard grill several times as well. The living room feels open and airy, and usually gets some beautiful ocean breezes. Late and light sleepers might find the lumberyard next door a little intrusive in the morning as their work starts up, but that is only an issue in one of the bedrooms, *and* if you have the windows open - it's not a big deal, and the convenience of being so close to everything far outweighs a little beeping.

Lovely apartment near the beach

We enjoyed our stay here. It is near the beach and an easy walk to stores, ice cream, miniature golf. The owner quickly responded to all our questions and was so nice to deal with. It was nicely decorated and stocked with kitchen ware. If you are OK without a dishwasher or washer/dryer, this apartment is for you.
