Seaside Family Retreat was perfect for our family of six, all adults. Checking in at 4PM was simple since we were supplied with the door code. We enjoyed the big family room and outdoor space. The fenced in yard was perfect for my son’s dog. Cooking was easy in the kitchen as well as grilling on the back patio. Most of our meals were eaten at the large table outside.

vacation at beach before wedding

The home was perfect! Its very spacious inside with lots of areas to lounge around. You can't beat the location! One block from the beach. We loved the decor of the house. The beds were comfortable. We really appreciated having beach essentials included (chairs, towels, umbrellas, badges and a cart). We also were happy that we did not need to bring towels and linens with us. We got married at the Breakers later in the week and it was a great spot to have as a base when we needed to do last minute things for the wedding.We would definitely stay at this place again!

Beautiful Week at the Beach

We had a great stay! The house was clean with plenty of room for our group of 5. The location was perfect with easy access to the beautiful beach and the boardwalk. The neighborhood was great for walking. Kris was available and responsive. It was extra nice having beach towels and chairs available to use. A great vacation stay for family or friends. Highly recommend.

Great communication and location for teens

We are a large, blended family and enjoyed the beach passes, chairs, umbrellas and towels. Kris communicated with us well. There are a lot of amenities, so we cooked many meals at the house. The Food Shack is about 2 blocks away and is a lovely breakfast spot if you want to eat out. Great location, just minutes from Jenkinsons. There was also a lot of free street parking. The yard is not large, so the teens couldn't play their ball games, but they liked lounging in the 3 season room and large living rooms. Recommend for families! Kris was very responsive when there was a minor issue and he took care of it promptly.

Great family vacation

Our family had a fantastic vacation at this house. A short walk from the beach and boardwalk was ideal, especially for the kids. But it was far enough away from the boardwalk bars that we enjoyed peace and quiet in the evenings and the beach was not overly crowded during the day. Two spacious living rooms plus a sun room was more than enough space for the kids to play and for the adults to relax. Great communication with the owner before and during the trip. Highly recommend.

Amazing Visit to Point Pleasant

Two weeks after our trip is complete our three year old daughter keeps saying "can we go back to the beach house?" We had a fantastic time staying at this house with quick access to the beach and the boardwalk. We spent the entire week on the beach, at the arcade, riding the rides and barely ever drove a mile in the rental car. Everything we need was right there. The owners were very easy to work with and the house was in great shape. Highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay on a quiet street with lots of activities within walking distance!

Great place, right by the boardwalk

6 of us stayed here for an extended weekend and all of us agreed we would be coming back. Good size house for 6-10 people. 2 minute walk from beach/boardwalk. Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway!

The house is a lovely property, 2 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minutes to the main attractions on the boardwalk. I loved being able to walk to the beach to drink my morning coffee! The house was perfect, with a huge family room, and a screened-in sun porch. There were 4 adults and 2 children and we were very comfortable. The house was well kept, had everything we needed, and Kris was a great host!

A nice family vacation spot

Nice beach house, just as described in the listing. Very close to the boardwalk and Jenkinsons beach. Unfortunately Jenkinsons beach was closed, but Maryland beach was open with plenty of free on street parking close to to the entrance. A bonus to us was that the house was well equipped for babies (pack n play, highchair, bath equipment etc). All in all, a nice family vacation spot.

Great place to unwind!

We had a wonderful time unwinding with friends and family. The walk to the beach was so easy and the boardwalk was right there. My favorite was the outdoor shower! Thank you for allowing us to stay here!

Spacious beach house close to all the action

The house had everything my family needed to enjoy our stay at Point Pleasant. An awesome location and only a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. The house is bigger than it looks in photos and had plenty of space for my party of 8. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Best Beach Vacation Ever!

We absolutely loved our week at the beach. This property is such a gem and so close to the beach. We were there before I even finished going over the rules with the kids. We have three kids and our son just turned one. The space is perfect for families since there is a large room away from the bedrooms that the adults can hang out after the kids go to bed. There’s a lot to do within walking distance or a short drive of the home and it’s location can’t be beat. It’s far enough away from the loud parts of the boardwalk so you can relax and the kids can sleep but close enough that it’s easy to get to the food and fun. Amazing trip!

Perfect beach house

The house was clean and perfect for 4 adults and two infants. It is 1/2 block from the beach, however that beach is private. You have to walk a little further down to get to the accessible beach. But that was no big deal. It was also great to be able to walk to the boardwalk. Overall, this house was great!

Worked for us

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Rooms were smaller than anticipated. Wish there had been an outside deck or porch but was not expecting one. Excellent location. Property manager/owner was very responsive to my questions. I never had to wait to hear back from him.

Perfect for families!

I can’t say enough about how perfect this location was for my family on our trip to Point Pleasant. The house was very clean and well organized, and the host responded quickly to the few questions we had before/on arrival. We could walk to the beach and boardwalk in 3 minutes, which was so convenient. We could easily stop back at the house between the beach and boardwalk. Our five-year-old loved the bunk room in the house, and the rides, arcades, and activities were perfect for his age. We spent one morning at the aquarium which was also very clean and nice. The fireworks on the beach on Thursday nights were fantastic as well. This house was the perfect location to be close enough to beach/boardwalk activities, but since it’s on the southern end it was also in a quieter part of town where we could count on there not being loud parties nearby keeping our child up all night. We no longer need a pack n play or high chair, but it was nice seeing those available in the house for those who might need them. We also enjoyed having two living spaces to spread out, and two dining spaces as well. It was great to have a driveway so we didn’t have to deal with street parking. The outdoor shower was nice too! We had a wonderful time, and would love to stay there again! Thank you, Kris!

Cute Beach House

The house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, slept everyone we needed it to and was close to the event we were in town to participate in. It is close to the beach for a lovely walk and restaurants are not far away as well. Great communication from the host. Would rent it again for sure!!!
