Beautiful property and incredibly accommodating and kind hosts! I was with a group of 5 and through the two levels/3 apartments, we each had plenty of space. Highlights were the beachfront/boardwalk access, ample seating areas in the garden, the espresso/cafe stations, the sunset views from the balcony, and the courtesy and kindness from the hosts. Sadly it was a little chilly for us to use the pool, but it was very clean. All three of the apartments were very well-stocked, we used a lot of dishware for coffees and for a few meals that we ate at the house. Fabjan was extremely responsive and the property was very clean throughout our stay. They were very kind to one of my friends with a much later flight, allowing him to enjoy the garden after check out. Easy access to Split but Split traffic increased some of the drives to 30 minutes, but overall very easy to get ubers to and from the city. Thank you!!! Would love to come back :)

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Maris, Ivana and Fabjan, the friendliest, most welcoming hosts and owners of the property. We were very happy with the spacious home, beautiful pool and grounds, and view of the Adriatic in our backyard, just steps from the sea. The furnishings, kitchens, and bathrooms were very modern and full of all the dinnerware, cookware, and utensils one would need. The infinity pool with jets enhanced our stay, along with comfortable beds and cool air conditioning. In walking distance were a small market and several good restaurants, allowing us to avoid driving into Split for dinner. Our visit to Split was even more special because of the wonderful hosts and home.

Wir waren als Familie mit sieben Erwachsene und zwei Kleinkinder für zwei Wochen im Haus.Das Haus hat drei voneinander getrennte Wohnungen so das wir optimal untergekommen sind.Fabian hat uns herzlich empfangen und alles erklärt.Das Anwesend war fantastisch, grün angelegt, der Pool gerade für unsere zwei Enkel super und das Meer vor der Nase genial. Ein super Ausblick von den Gartenliegen auf das Meer.Im Haus gab es alles was wir brauchten. Angefangen von Top ausgestatteten Küchen über genügend Handtücher, Seife usw. Es hat an nichts gemangelt. Wir waren alle begeistert.Fabians Mutter hat uns des öfteren tolle Köstlichkeiten vorbeigebracht. Ganz toll war, das Fabian für uns alle an einem Abend gegrillt hat.Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen und empfehlen das Objekt gerne weiter.

Wonderful location right on the beach in Podstrana. Luxury accommodation. Very attentive host provided above and beyond service. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walk. Wonderful 3 mile paved walkway along the beach (2.2 mile in one direction, a bit over 1 in the other), so great for walking or jogging. Only slight drawback is the traffic into Split if you're planning excursions (ferry, bus, etc.). Allow enough time to get there, due to traffic, not distance. The later in the morning or day, the worse the traffic will be. We did numerous excursions from Split, but we had to make that half hour to one hour commute for each of those tours, so expect that. We also went to Omiš for a river tour, which is in the opposite direction so no traffic (still 25-ish minutes to get there due to distance). So the Podstrana location is nice because it's central and wonderful for what's right there for chilling and beach/pool days, but you'll be commuting for all excursions. Overall, great VRBO accommodation due to location, amenities, and great host.

Our family of 13, ranging from 2 to 72 were delighted with our 11 days in Villa Maris The 3 apartments with their different bedroom arrangements, suited our family grouping well. They were all spotless and very well equipped to a high standard. The pool was great (owners attended daily to clean) and with the direct access to the beach, and use of the villa’s paddleboard, our family had a great time. The owner, Fabian, his wife and mother were all very helpful with any queries we had – providing us with delicious home baked cakes and taking us to the big supermarket when we first arrived. We would fully recommend this to other families for the location, the high standard of the apartments – and the friendly, helpful support from the owners.

We had a fantastic time in Podstrana, Croatia! The property was right on the beach — you couldn’t ask for a better location. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Fabyan was a fantastic host: friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. Local amenities were very convenient, and getting to both Split and Omiš was super easy. A fun surprise was the resident tortoise, which added a unique and memorable touch to our stay! All in all, a perfect getaway — highly recommended!

An amazing property that worked well for our family group of 3 families (2, 3 and 4 people). It was good to have our own apartments/space, where each had everything we needed. The pool was a big attraction, and the outdoor kitchen and BBQ were well used. There was always somewhere to find a bit of shade in the beautiful garden, if that's what you prefer. The views from the garden were exquisite and the beach just a few steps from the rear gate. There are good restaurants, supermarkets and a bakery within walking distance. The bus stop immediately outside was handy when we used public transport on a trip back from Split town. Fabian was always prompt to answer any questions, and offer assistance - both before our arrival and while we were in Podstrana.We couldn't have wanted more for a family get together. The plaque on the wall shows 3*, but this should definitely be a 5* property.

Wonderful villa, amenities & location

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. As we were a party of 4 adults & 4 teenagers the 3 separate apartments worked well for us. It was great to have so much space to relax individually but also come together for meals etc. Fabjan and Ivana were very responsive and extremely accommodating hosts and Fabjan’s mother (who lives onsite behind the apartments) ensured everything onsite was ok for us daily during our stay. Just one suggestion might be to have some fans available in the bedrooms in the summer months as there was only 1 AC unit in the living rooms of each apartment and some of the bedrooms had very little airflow. Access to the beach was amazing and we enjoyed the use of the many sun-loungers on the beach itself. We also loved exploring the many restaurants and bars which were a short walk along the beach from the villa. Thank you Fabjan and Ivana for a really lovely stay, your kind hospitality was appreciated!

Tolles Ferienhaus mit 3 Wohnungen

Wir haben das Ferienhaus mit 5 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern gemietet und dabei die 3 Wohnungen genutzt. Im Haus findet man absolut alles, was man benötigt und vieles mehr. Über Handtücher, Seife, Duschbad, Spülmittel, Geschirrspültabs ist alles dabei. Die Nutzung von Waschmaschine sowie Trockner war auch möglich. Die Wohneinheiten sind liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Die direkte Strandlage ist perfekt. Am Strand stehen Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung. Der Garten bietet mehrere schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten. Der Pool wird von der sympathischen Oma, die vorne am Ferienhaus wohnt, gereinigt. Sie hat uns gern bei Fragen weitergeholfen und uns mit Tomaten, Kürbis, Olivenöl und auch Gebackenem versorgt, ohne das es aufdringlich war. Es war ein toller Urlaub und die Gastgeber/Vermieter waren sehr fürsorglich.

Our Stay in Podstrana

It started with being greeted by Fabjan at the property on arrival. A fantastic meet and greet where he showed us around and signposted us to the important things like coffee machines (excellent), air con and all other amenities whilst also giving us a cold beer during the meet and greet - fantastic. Fabjan helped with all questions and also offered to take us to the large supermarket the next day to get some supplies which was a massive help. The villa is incredible and even bigger than it looks and is described. We had the pleasure of seeing Fabjan’s mother most days who always ensured we had fresh towels and towels on all the sun beds before the day really got started, she also played a big role in making us feel welcomed and she was fantastic with all of the children from both families, she even cooked pancakes for all the children and brought fresh fruit for them also, she added to what was a fantastic villa and a fantastic host. The beach is truly beautiful and having it at the back of the villa is just amazing whereby we could sit on the sinners on the patio and watch the older children in the sea We will be going back in the future and we are looking forwards to seeing Fabjan when we return to Croatia in the future

Wow

The PERFECT family holiday, what more can we say, everything was thought of. The villa was amazing, very well equipped with incredible views of the sea in the day and sunset on an evening. We even spotted dolphins one morning which was so special. We are a family of 10 made up of all ages from 9 to 72 and there was something for everyone to do and enough space to relax when needed. The hosts Fabian and Ivana were fabulous with Ivana bringing us fresh baking one day which was just delicious. So a massive thank you again to them. The nearby bakery and supermarket is very handy, we visited everyday and of an evening we took a stroll along the beach either left of right and found some beautiful restaurants which again had something for everyone’s tastes. We can’t wait to return, we have all found a new love for Croatia 🇭🇷

Perfect!

Our family from Australia stayed for 6 nights leading up to our sons wedding. From the minute we booked until we checked out our hosts were amazing. The villa is even better than the photos and the location and beach is beautiful. Bus station direct to Split right outside. Supermarket 200m. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

AMAZING Villa!

What an amazing place! We weren't really sure what to expect, as this was our first trip to Croatia. The Podstrana villa was absolutely perfect.....so much more than we dreamed of! Tons of space, very well constructed and decorated. So many lovely outdoor spaces to spend time with friends and right on the beach! We were totally in awe and so appreciative of how much thought went into this amazing place!

Wunderbarer Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir waren mit 2 anderen Familien dort, es war traumhaft. Nagelneue, sehr wertige und super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit 2 wunderschönen Bädern im OG (6 Personen), 2 kleinere Ferienwohnungen im EG (4 & 2 Personen mit weiteren Zustellbetten), sehr schöner Infinity-Pool mit Massagedüsen und Wasserfall, sehr gepflegter und gemütlicher Garten mit vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten und großem Esstisch sowie Gas- und Holzkohlrgrill) direkt angrenzendes Meer mit feinem Kies und Privatliegen.
