Maravillosa

Desde que llegamos fue muy fácil encontrar la casa , entrar y cuando accedimos a la propiedad nos quedamos enamorados ! Todo muy limpio , tan simple que a pesar de lo humilde rayaba en lo elegante ! Nuestra parte favorita ? El patio! El olor de los árboles , el viento , la tranquilidad , el silencio, la naturaleza !! Nos sentimos como en casa . El hot tub se robó toda la atención también ! Ha sido mi mejor viaje , me sentí feliz de estar en esta propiedad y de pasar tiempo de calidad con mi familia . Agradecida con Karen porque siempre respondía mis mensajes y me ayudo en todo lo que necesite . Gracias !

Get Away Weekend :)

What a great stay ! The house was perfect for the six of us inside and out! I hope to stay here again because the location is great and we just really enjoyed ourselves.

Weekend Getaway

Love the Poconos in the Summer! Great little getaway with the family for an extended weekend. The cottage was beautiful, with an amazing hot tub and fire pit area.

Such a great time!!

We had such a great time over Valentine’s Day weekend! The romantic cottage was exactly that and we enjoyed our time there and in the hot tub! The cottage was very clean and warm and thank you for the special request that was delivered! Definitely recommend to stay here and we will be back!

Snowy Weekend

We enjoyed the property and would stay there again. Host communication was excellent, the property is an easy drive to Jack Frost and other shopping areas. We most enjoyed the hot tub during the winter storm Saturday night.

Beautiful setting!

We had a perfect stay in the home and community. Home was really comfortable for our small group. It was also very private, including the outdoor hot tub. Thank you to the Ditmar family for hosting us in your home!

Weekend get away.

Nice place to go for a weekend get away. We enjoyed the lakes and outdoor activities. Every time I messages the owner with a question I got a quick response. Good times!

It was okay overall. I hate to complain but we were a pretty disappointed in the quality of the stay for the price paid. First, the place was not the cleanest. The floors were filthy, they made our socks brown with dirt and dust from walking on it. There was dog hair all over the couch which covered our clothing when sitting on it. There were tiny shards of glass on the kitchen floor - my boyfriend stepped on one and got it in his foot. This was super worrying considering we had our 2 year old with us walking around. We specifically booked this place because of the hot tub and it was not great. Smelled super musty, old basement smell and seems it needs to be treated.It wasn’t an awful place to stay for two days but could have been a lot better. The community itself seems very nice and we enjoyed seeing the lake covered in snow.

Excellent relaxing and clean place

We absolutely loved our stay. Watching all the deer from the porch was awesome. My only regret is the fireplace did not work. The host responded right away but unfortunately changing the batteries did not help. We also did not receive the email with the entrance code like we were suppose to. This was my first time and I just assumed we got a key at the visitor place where you have to check in. Will definitely stay here again

Cozy Getaway

House was very clean and both the fireplace and hot tub were operational. The location is very quiet but still close to attractions like J Thorpe (25 min). Not a lot of hot water but not a problem for 2 people. Also, the vacuum was broken but that is an easy fix. Communication through VRBO didn’t work but the host resolved the issues directly.The deck is very nice but was in need of cleaning. . I swept up a build up of leaves. My dog loved it, bring 2 gates to close off if you want to contain them while sitting outside..

Awesome place, awesome owners!

Stayed here with my wife for my 40th birthday weekend and it was the best birthday ever!! It was early October and the trees in the area were simply breathtaking!! A place with a hot tub was basically my only requirement and it didn't disappoint!! The fireplace was definitely a big plus, we had it going quite a bit. It was so beautiful and peaceful. It is really quiet there, such a great way to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of even a small city. It was just the two of us so we didn't need a lot of space but it would have been fine if there were more people as there is room to sprawl out inside and out. It's furnished beautifully, there is a lot of natural light thanks to the skylight. It felt secluded but the house is part of a large lake community and within a short drive of stores and restaurants. Everyone we encountered in the lake community was friendly, it was really nice! They have special community events. The lakes are beautiful and I bet would be fun in the summer time. We did a UTV tour at Pocono Raceway and it was sooooo much fun!! Highly recommend!! Thinking of going back just for the day to ride again! Owner Karen was great to communicate with! There were extra little touches that showed she and her husband put their heart and soul into the place. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!!

Quaint cabin in a cute community

This was a very cute cabin in an accessible and convenient village. There were playgrounds and beaches for our 2 year old to explore, and lots of hikes and things nearby for us to visit. The house had everything stocked that we needed and was comfortable.
