Terrific views!
This is a well equipped and comfortable cottage right on the water. We stayed in the winter and actually enjoyed a winter storm, snug and warm. The birding from the cottage was amazing. We saw over a dozen harlequin ducks as well as a huge flock of cedar wax wings. The cottage is best for a couple with children. It probably wouldn’t be great for 2 couples due to the layout and the size of the second bedroom. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. The location is great although a long walk to the beach as it is not accessible from the property which is on a cliff. The bed is comfortable as are the couches. We would stay here again.

Hard beds and electrical issues
The view was wonderful but much of the house did not have lights that worked. You can hear everything in the bedrooms and privacy was lacking. There was also weird religious decorations in the home.

Hello Cricket, Thank you for letting us now that 3 light bulbs needed to be changed and it has been taken care of. (You declined our offer to come check the lights for you.) There are extra light bulbs in a cabinet and guests are welcome to change them when needed. Concerning religious decorations, we have no idea what you are referring to. The paintings at the house were done by a lovely elderly family member, ocean views and a couple of Plimouth plantation era man and woman. We are sorry that they are not to your liking. Thank you. Ocean Stay
Perfect location to gaze on the ocean, and have everything you need close to hand. House was cozy, but the deck is the place to be. Walk through the neighborhood to a wonderful swimming beach.

Perfect getaway
Stayed with friends while in Plymouth for a wedding. It was a wonderful stay and we didn’t want to leave! The view from the back deck was beautiful. We got up and enjoyed seeing the sunrise both mornings we were there. Nice and quiet location. Walk to beach was nice. I would recommend to bring water shoes or supportive sandals due to the beach being rocky. The cottage had plenty of space. It is an older home but has everything you would need and was clean. We would stay here again.

Location is Great, and the View Can't be Beat
My husband and I were in town for my high school reunion. The location was quiet, yet a short drive to everything Plymouth! We could see P-Town from the deck most of the days. You cannot access the beach from the property, the beach is a short walk away. The cottage is just like going to visit Grandma years ago. Two bedrooms are attached to each other, through a doorway, but also have their own entrances. The bathroom is small, not a lot of room for toiletries, there is a tub/shower but it is not full size. The home was very clean, just could use a little updating. I would stay here again.

Family getaway days
View was beautiful, deck was great, handy having washer and dryer on premises, and kitchen for cooking as very convenient. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Felt comfortable and safe in the area.

weekend with a view
This was the cutest house on the water! The house is in a great location with a 10 minute walk to the beach (down a little hill but manageable, I did with 3 kids) and going into Plymouth is a 10 minute drive. The house fit our family of 5 comfortably. The highlight was getting to use the deck overlooking the water. Simply breathtaking! Thank you for letting us stay.

Great location with spectacular beach and views
We had a great time in Plymouth at Rich and Helene’s cottage. The location is in a peaceful friendly neighborhood with a ~10 minute walk to a stunning private beach. Downtown Plymouth is a short 5 mile drive away. The best part about the house is the porch with views of the ocean. Master bedroom only had one small working light and bathroom is quite old but functional. Very responsive hosts and lots of helpful signage!!

Oceanside escape
We were very happy staying at this modest, but clean and VERY well located cottage. It was close to all the historical Plymouth sites we wanted to see, plus shops and restaurants. Well stocked with linens and kitchenware, with a nice washer and dryer. When we stayed, there was hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, so all we really needed was food! Check in and out were very easy. It is an older property with some wear and tear, but so clean and peaceful.

Great view.
This property was cozy and clean with a great view and if you like to watch the sunrise from the deck, its great. Yard may not be kid friendly, but the beach is only a 10 minute walk. Uphill on the way back. Good exercise.

Amazing View and Highly Recommend
I would absolutely recommend this property. Quick drive to downtown Plymouth. The view of the ocean is incredible. The property is comfortable and the check-in/check-out process is very smooth.

Relaxing Winter Weekend
It was the perfect place to relax on a chilly weekend. The sunrise was breathtaking to start the day . The beds were comfortable and we had a cozy fire. The kitchen has all the equipment needed to make our meals. The living room was cozy and we were able to stretch out on the couches to play cards. We will be back.

Great view, quiet location, easy walk to beach
The house is in a great location and has a perfect sunrise view. Make sure to set you alarm to wake up about 20 minutes before sunrise to see it. Only issue we had was with the horrible biting flies. They were so bad on the beach, we could not sit on the beach chairs we brought from the house. They were on the deck of the house, too, but not as bad.

Visiting Plymouth
Loved Plymouth and the home we stayed in. Had everything we needed and it was very relaxing! Note, beds are firm and we had extra blanket for the coolish evenings. Kitchen was roomy and great layout for cooking. Didn’t need the heater as the days in early October are perfect. Would stay again.

Comfotable, Spacious home
No heat in home when we first got there but property manager got us heat with in a few hours. Very spacious. Weather wasn't the best so we didn't get down to the beach. Could have used more towels. Beautiful view even though it was windy and the seas were rough. That was nothing the owners could have prevented. Overall nice stay. Would recommend.

Exactly what was needed
I suppose it depends on the kind of vacation you need, but if you need quiet, cozy, with unobstructed views forever, this is your place. Heck if you bring kids, the house is in a cul-de-sac, so safe to ride bikes. Bikes recommended actually to get to the beach. Sure there is a healthy hill coming back, but parking at the beach can be challenging. Close to every thing you need. Hopefully we get to come back.

Glorious!!
You will see the most glorious sunrises here - worth getting up early even on vacation! Quiet neighborhood with a beach within walking distance, plenty of seaside attractions and dining with a few miles, comfy beds, plenty of hot water for an all together enjoyable experience.

Great Location
We had a great time at this property! It has everything you need (dishes, laundry). It's a quick walk to the private beach (12 minute) which was super convenient. The views from the deck were amazing. For clarity - there isn't a grill. The queen mattress is very firm, which was great for my father as he loves a firm mattress. Was a great place to get away for a few days. Thank you!

My family and I had a wedding to attend in Duxbury. This was the most perfect accomodation to stay for two nights. Spacious and clean. You can watch the sunrise over Cape Cod Bay from the deck. Hands down amazing.

All about the view
Perfect location for my wife and I on our first trip to Cape Cod. Plymouth with its shops and restaurants is minutes away. Highly recommend Capt John’s whale watching tour. We took nice drives to Sandwich, Hyannis and Provincetown as well. The house is immaculately clean. It is an old house so don’t expect luxury but it has everything you need. It is all about the view. We loved spending time on the deck with the amazing views of Cape Cod. Beautiful early morning sunrise and a clear view of Provincetown across the bay! I loved my coffee in the morning and beer in the evening relaxing on the deck. The neighbors are so quiet and it is a beautiful walk to the nearby beaches, for us just to visit not spend the day. These are not short walks mind you. If you are here for a beach vacation, you really need to get in your car. Excellent wi-fi service if you need it. Great communication by owner. If you are looking for a simple place with amazing views, a clean place to stay and good location, this is for you! We would not hesitate to re-book if we return to Cape Cod.

Quiet Ocean View
The cottage was super clean, everything we needed was there. The view of the ocean was nothing less than spectacular. End of a dead end street so quiet and relaxing. Cottage could use a few minor repairs ( the tiny shower needs a better shower head) but with everything else so wonderful it was easily overlooked. Close to so many places that we hit all our destinations with ease. Owners were communicative and even left us a sweet note and treat upon arrival. We never wanted to leave .

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. It was clean and well taken care of. We have two young boys (5 and 8) who had a great time. Sitting on the back deck watching the sunrise over the ocean is breathtaking! Private ocean access is just down the road. Would stay here again. Great for a small family!

Great location, good value
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is dated but great for the value. I am somebody who doesn’t care about peeling paint while I have cocktails and watch seals from the back deck :). The residential Beach access is hilly but only 0.4 miles away. There is also a public beach which is a 15 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Plymouth.

Great little getaway
This house has an amazing view from the deck where we spent most of our time there just watching the tide go in and out as well as lobster fishermen setting and pulling traps. The house was in a nice and quiet cul de sac and just a quick drive from Plymouth. The house had everything that we needed with instructions that were very easy to understand. The only thing we would've changed about our time here would've been staying longer.

The view is it.
View is terrific. So confused by the glowing reviews of the house. The owners need to put a tiny bit of effort into maintaining the house. Very old and musty as it has not been painted or cared for in years. Same with all of the linens, beds, towels. Hope they can do something about it as it is a great location and a sweet house.

BEAUTIFUL PLACE - 5 stars for the view and amazing hosts - some info for prospective guests!
Loved this gorgeous house for me + my family: me, my husband, my baby (14 mos), + my parents. This place doesn’t really sleep 6, but you could use the pull out sofa to make that work. It’s most suited for 4 people + baby. Baby Stuff: it’s not baby-proofed so bring cabinet locks that are easily removable or use some good old fashioned rubber bands like I did. It does have a high chair and a room divider which was huge. Crib is in master bedroom so room divider was key to making sure baby has the illusion of being alone. No need for baby monitor of course, b/c at least for me, you can hear my son from Mars when he’s mad. I brought my own plug protectors + left them there for future guests. 5 stars: back deck view. House is well decorated - paintings are fabulous. Bathroom is exquisite - it actually has chandeliers! Arrival: house was IMMACULATELY clean. Hosts left us a nice note and a bottle of wine! The layout of the house is expansive + open - photos don’t do it justice. Really airy + cool (central AC). Things I didn’t love - the mattresses are extremely hard. I recommend hosts get new mattresses or even foam egg shell toppers because it’d make a big difference. Couches in living room are comfy. The red couches in TV room look comfy but are really hard on your back. Need to be replaced - if the owners are interested, Ashley has a fab red sectional that‘d look great in there. Tips for beach - it’s a HELL of a walk. If you’re a young couple, you could manage it. It’s about 15 min w/ lots of hills. If you have a baby or older parents, it’s a trip with lots of justified whining (because it’s far, hilly, + hot in direct sun.) Definitely drive or get dropped off and picked up. There are spots at the beach with a sign that says PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK. We parked there on the last day (a Tues) + didn’t have an issue. But I’m not clear if it was okay to park there. We did it b/c everyone else did. Driveway only has room for 1 car, but you could squeeze to fit 2 VW bugs - but then you can’t open doors. It’s at a dead end - so you can park on the curb but you have to leave room for a fire truck to turn around. Checkout is 10am on the dot - and they really mean it. This part sucks and I’m sorry to have to say so. If you have a baby, you really can’t rest the day you check out. No time for breakfast or coffee, you pack your stuff and get out because the cleaning crew or owner will be there to make sure you’re gone.

Unforgettable View
The property was clean and there was a lovely welcome note and bottle of wine waiting for us. The beach access wasn’t too far, out small children were able to handle the walk. The best part though was the view. Especially in the morning when the sun came up over the water. Can’t wait to stay here again. Loved it!

beautfiul little cottage by the sea,view amazing, clean,has everything you could possibly want and more. Exactly as described, the area is just beautfiul . Only thing not giving a 10 is comfortability of the beds ... not very comfortable especially if back problems, but this based on my own personal opinion, for others maybe fine. everything else gets 10 plus!!! thank you for sharing your place and giving us the perfect peaceful relaxing weekend we needed. Good Getaway — quiet, convenient location
Perfectly acceptable. Lots of room for just the two of us. Too many places are closed down or offering only limited hours because of COVID Pandemic. Be sure to phone and confirm with every place you are trying to visit, to avoid driving somewhere only to find yourselves locked out.

Easy to access, great location, everything was clean and notes left for guidance. We were greeted with a pleasant surprise waiting for us thank you. The view was better than the listing said it was. Woke up to a beautiful sunrise. Quiet neighborhood location was great short drive to everything we had planned. My 9 yo nephew loved it. Owner’s response to the few questions I had ( most were already answered in listed or notes.) I would definitely stay there again. Yes somethings maybe a little dated but it only adds to the charm and experience of staying at aN awesome authentic cottage by the sea.
