If you’re looking for a truly secluded place to stay this is definitely it! Settled on 13 acres on a mountain you’re away from the hustle and bustle, but only a short ride to things to do like shops, restaurants, bars, and beaches. Whether it’s in the morning with a cup of coffee or the evening with a cocktail, the front porch is the place to be. With comfy chairs and a beautiful view of the mountains you won’t need much more. The only noise you hear is that of the nature around you…no people, no traffic, just nature. The cottage is very well equipped with all you need and the accuracy of the listing is spot on. The owners were incredibly responsive and super friendly to communicate with. Our only regret is that we didn’t book sooner as we had been eyeing it for a couple years. It’s exactly what we were looking for. You’re guaranteed to love it!! Enjoy!!

Peaceful

A lot of work done to make and keep this a peaceful get away. Everything you need is provided. Just bring your clothes and food! Secluded yet close to town. So you can eat out or get groceries and eat in. See the sights of surrounding areas or just relax and get away from it all. Beautiful sunsets and wildlife - a Turkey visited several times!

Great stay at this cute, clean, and comfortable cottage. Views were lovely and we even saw some wildlife-- two juvenile moose and a porcupine! Enjoyed soaking up the solitude (even on the rainy day, we sat on the porch and enjoyed the peacefulness) and found some fun things to do in the area including the arcade (apparently the largest collection of arcade cabinets in the world) and the scenic railroad. The thoughtful touches and instructions made our stay worryfree and relaxing!

My husband and I absolutely loved the property! The cottage is beautiful, it was stocked with everything you may need. The view from the front porch was breathtaking!! Peace and calm

What an amazing cottage! Nestled in the woods of NH you feel a million miles away from any stress you might have. Staying in this cottage brought me peace and relaxation. The cottage was so cute, private, and clean. The hosts were very responsive. I couldn’t ask for a better trip!

This is our happy place

This was our second year staying here, and we had looked forward to it since we checked out last year. This has become our happy place and a place of peace, which we need as we have very high stress jobs. The place is just perfect for a couple who needs a quiet retreat into nature, away from all the noise of their every day lives. A perfect place to unplug and connect with one another.

Exploring the NH Lakes area

Our stay at the cottage was very relaxing. The large open yard and wonderful view of the mountains was perfect for us as well as our dog. The cottage was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Communication with the manager was great from booking to check-out, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Secluded Oasis

A beautiful spot with a gorgeous view! We loved how private the house was, with lots of lawn area, grill, and a fire pit. The inside was so cozy. We really appreciated the propane fireplace since our days spent there were quite chilly. The house was spotless with nice decorative touches throughout. Really wished I had taken advantage of the inviting spa tub. Maybe next time. We will visit again.

Anniversary getaway

This has to be the best vacation rental we have stayed at. Secluded, but with all the amenities you would need. Close to nearby attractions, and shops, an ideal location. The fall colors and sunsets were an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful getaway

This was our first trip to the Lakes Region of NH and we couldn't of picked a better place to stay! The cabin in the woods was exactly what we were looking for and the location was perfect! It was a short drive to all the sights we wanted to explore and our fur babies really enjoyed being able to run around on the property and take in the fresh mountain air! The cabin was well stocked with all the amenities to be able to eat there and not having to eat out for every meal. The host was easily accessible for any questions we had and it was just an overall wonderful trip! We are already planning our visit for next year!

Absolutely amazing!

This little cottage was just what we were looking for! While the property was beautiful and secluded, it wasn't far from downtown shops and eateries or the lakes. It was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a nice long weekend getaway (cooking supplies, linens and towels, and even the small touches like the candle by the jacuzzi tub). The bed was also very comfortable which made it had to get up in the morning. Sue and Kirk made us feel right at home, and it was nice knowing they were only a call/text away. Our little dog Cody also had a great time exploring the property. We would definitely love to come back soon!
