Beautiful, tranquil.

Beautiful stone villa with large pool. Peaceful location with restaurants and shops only 6-7 minutes away in Gradac, which was lovely with an abundance of sea front restaurants.Ivan and his father were very helpful and friendly. Donna, their dog, was a welcomed frequent visitor ( she was adorable). A truly wonderful holiday. There was 6 adults in our party and the rooms in the villa were spacious and wonderfully decorated. An absolute gem of a find.

Very nice property and great location in Dalmatia

This property is very nice for families with children. Location also great, between Dubrovnik and Split. Coastal area and very nice beaches in 5 min drive. Ivan is very helpfull and nice. The only thing that surprised us was the presence of more families/guest. Usually on Vrbo the properties are for private use. Here there are 4 small houses that are for rent. In Italy this would be more of a agriturismo, not what we would prefer if we knew beforehand. Other guest did not bother us at all, but it would have been nice to know. Property has a nice pool and very nice garden. Airco in all rooms works great. Wi-Fi works only near the router. There is almost no 4G (roaming Netherlands) there. that are for rent.

Fantastic little oasis for our family

We booked this property very last minute after our planned accommodation ended up not being 'as advertised'. What a find! The house was clean, spacious and a comfortable temperature (downstairs is not air-conditioned but is very cool). The outside area was fantastic, and we spent most of our time there. The kids loved the pool, the garden, the dog, turtles and cats, and we made great use of the outside shaded table and Duplo and art supplies. After the disappointment of the previous accommodation, this was an amazing way to end our holiday.

Wonderful stay!

The property was beautiful, everything we needed was available to us. The pool area is really lovely, very private and perfect for relaxing. We stayed for 12 nights and really enjoyed all Croatia had to offer. Ivan and his family are so welcoming, we loved having the family cat’s and dog visit us daily too! If you are considering visiting we would definitely recommend staying here, we loved it and will certainly return.

Super schöner Urlaub

Das Haus ist sehr schön,total ruhig gelegen,umgeben von einem gepflegtem Garten! Im Haus selber alles vorhanden was man für den entpannten Urlaub braucht,Klimaanlage,Küche super ausgestattet.Obst,Wasser,Wein hat uns als Willkommensgruß erwartet. Das Highlight ist natürlich der wunderschöne Swimmingpool wo wir viel Zeit verbracht haben.Liegen und ein Griller auch vorhanden! Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten am Strand.Wünderschöner Garten mit ganz vielen Details,man merkt den kreativen Geist und die künstlerische Gestaltung am ganzen Anwesen und im Haus! Ivan und seine Eltern sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Putovali smo kao grupa 7 odraslih i 1 beba te su vlasnici bili jako fleksibilni oko razlicitih vremena dolazaka u vilu. Sama vila je predivno uređena, uredna i cista. Svatko je imao dovoljno privatnosti unutar i izvan kuce. Najvise vremena smo provodili u dvoristu iza kuce gdje se nalazi bazen i natkriveni lounge prostor za opustanje. Vila je na jako dobroj lokaciji, potpuno izolirana u prirodi gdje smo se osjecali mirno i opusteno. Vrt i okucnica su jako lijepo uređeni. Villa je smjestena 10 minuta voznje od plaze i mora, 5 minuta od Bacinskih jezera te 15ak minuta od usca Neretve gdje se nude mnoge druge aktivnosti za posjetioce. Definitivno preporuka za dobar odmor!

Wunderschönes Haus mit Pool!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Ivans Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön und das Highlight ist die Terrasse mit dem privaten Pool, welcher übrigens alle 2 Tage von Ivans Vater gereinigt wird. In der nahen Umgebung ist man schnell am Strand oder am See. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, da sehr ruhig und idyllisch.

Great villa in a great location

We had a lovely week in this villa. Very pretty setting and lovely garden. The kitchen had everything we needed when we self- catered and we loved sitting after dinner with the outdoor lights off and counting the shooting stars. Although secluded, we were less than ten minutes drive to the pretty beach at Gradac with its beautiful sunsets and friendly restaurants. Ten minutes in the other direction got us to Bacina lake where we walked, swam, paddle boards and relaxed. It’s worth noting that this property may not be suitable for younger children, or people with less mobility as there are quite a few stone steps up from the car to the front door and the staircases internally are open. All in all we had a great stay here, thank you.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Ruhig gelegen. Ideal, um am Pool zu relaxen. Guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Makarska Riviera zu erkunden. Auch Dubrovnik und Mostar sind gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wonderful family holiday

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. The owners were warm, welcoming, kind and so helpful. Really clean and comfortable. Such a peaceful location and paddle boarding with Ivan’s company was brilliant fun. Lovely restaurants in nearby Gradac. Great location for lakes and beaches.

A hidden gem of a villa and great for exploring Croatia

We spent 2 weeks here in 2019 and it was a perfect base to go exploring many parts of Croatia and Bosnia. The accommodation was very tastefully furnished and full of interesting and quirky art works. The garden and pool were very welcome during the incredibly hot days we spent here and we discovered several rather interesting insects from the area. The accommodation is clean and of a good standard and my only complaint was that I found the mattress in the main bedroom a bit hard but my husband found it fine so that could just be me used to memory foam. Ivan and his father were so very helpful and welcoming and gave us ideas of places to eat and drink locally We also spent several days at the Bacina lakes learning to paddleboard and we were made very welcome and chatted for ages finding out all about Ivans dads connection to the village which was fascinating. The lake setting and bar area are just perfect for whiling away several hours. Many families were here with the kids enjoying the lake and it was lovely to watch all the interactions. We would really recommend the villa for anyone wanting a real taste of the past staying in an original stone built home which has been lovingly restored. We visited all the islands, Split, Dubrovnik and Bosnia from this location and it was a pretty good mid way point. Thanks so much for making us feel so welcome and for the incredible freshly picked figs

Wonderful stay at Villar Solar.

We had a great time. The villa was beautiful. Very private with a lovely pool. Very comfortable and clean. We had a warm welcome from Ivan and his parents. Communications were easy. We recommend the villa very highly. Also the paddle boarding on the beautiful lakes nearby.

Tolles Steinhaus in natürlicher Umgebung... Perfekt

Das Haus ist tatsächlich so schön wie auf den Bildern. Super gut eingerichtet, in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Sauberkeit hervorragend, gut klimatisiert, der Pool die Wucht. Das einzige was eventuell fehlt, ist eine kleine Überbauung am Pool, sodass man die Möglichkeit hat im Schatten zu sitzen. Der riesige Baum spendet auch Schatten, allerdings kann man wegen fallender Früchte und Knospen nicht darunter essen. Wir hatten einen super schönen Urlaub mit sehr freundlichen Vermietern, empfehlenswert ist eine stand-up paddle Tour bei Ivan auf den Bacina lakes.

10 days in Bacina

We were two families of mom,dad,and two kids each between 9 and 13. The house is amazing and the grounds and location are very hard to imagine without staying here. Owners are lovely and deeply rooted in region. I have spent a lot of time in Croatia and Bosnia and this home and location are perfect to explore islands and the true gem of Croatia, the peninsula. In short stay here, relax, go to lake enjoy locals take a ferry somewhere. Heavenly Mediterranean living.

Wer einen ruhigen Urlaub genießen möchte ist hier genau richtig!!

Diese Ortschaft haben wir in FeWo-direkt entdeckt. Auf der Seite sah das Haus wünderschön aus und hat uns sofort angesprochen. Die Buchung selbst war dann auch sehr unkompliziert. Bei Ankunft kamen wir aus dem Staunen nicht heraus. Das Haus und das umliegende Gelände/Garten mit tollem Pool waren noch schöner als auf den Bildern ersichtlich - man fühlte sich wie im Paradies :) Die Lage des Hauses ist etwas außenliegend ca 5km zu den nächsten Städten Gradac und Ploce, ebenfalls zu den an der Straße liegenden Stränden. Die Hauseigentümer waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. In der Nähe befinden sich die bezaubernden Bacina Seen ( ca 2Km.), auf denen man die Möglichkeiten zum Surfpaddeln oder einer Boottour (ein muss!) hat. Man kann die Seen auch einfach mit dem Kajak entdecken und bewundern. Naturlich gibts es noch vieles mehr zu erkunden, was wir auch gemacht haben. Wir können nur sagen: der weite Weg lohnt sich um dort seinen Urlaub zu verbringen! Wir waren dort vom 25.08 bis 08.09.2018. Das Wetter zu dieser Zeit war super schön :) Danke schön Maga mit Fam. Kto chce spokojny urlop spedzic jest tutaj wlasciwie! Przepiekny dom z przepieknym ogrodem. W zeczywistosci ladniej jak na zdjeciach.Czulismy sie jak w raju.Do miast Gradac i Ploce a takze do plazy okolo 5km.Wlasciciele bardzo mili.W poblizu(2km) sa jeziora Bacina,na ktorych mozna Surfpaddeln albo lodka lub kajakiem przez wszystkie jeziora plywac.Jest bardzo duzo w okolicy do zobaczenia. Co tez zrobilismy :) Mozemy powiedziec ze najdalsza droga sie oplaca tutaj spedzic wczasy.My bylismy od 25.08. do 08.09 pogoda byla przepiekna :) dziekujemy jeszcze raz Maga z rodzina

Absolut fantastisch!!!

Ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, liebevoll und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Vermieter war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und immer offen für unsere Fragen. Gartenanlage sehr gepflegt mit schönen Details. Viele Sitzmöglichkeiten draussen. Super schöner sehr gepflegter Pool. Ein wunderbarer Urlaub!!! Wir hätten direkt für immer bleiben wollen. Ein Traum in idylischer Landschaft

Wir haben hier ein kleines Paradies gefunden, etwas abseits der Massen und versteckt in toller Landschaft, nah bei Badeseen und auch nicht weit weg von kleinen Stränden. Es gib einen Pool und sehr nette Gastgeber. Man genießt die Sterne und die Natur, entdeckt Land und Leute.

Beautiful and well equipped

Artistic touches are everywhere by the owners who have put great passion into this refurbishment. Make sure you get good directions as the property has its own single track lane, look for the sun painted on the stone at the road side. Pool is for cooling off not diving due to its size. Very friendly people. Air conditioning kept the sleeping areas cool at night which was welcome when temperatures reached 38degC during our stay.

Excellent house, very peaceful place. Great pool and garden. We will come back next year and we strongly recommend Ivan's place :)
