"This is a charming and affordable option in Laguna. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Great food is close by with a grocery store just across the street. Bring your walking shoes! Beach access is close by but a little steep. We loved our stay and would book again. "

"Trust the reviews on this one. It's very walkable to the main beach and many dining and shopping options. Two nice coffee shops nearby as well. It's small -- not a lot of room for suitcases, packages, etc but it's VERY cute and cozy. Also, the rooms are on the second floor (outdoor steps) so be mindful when packing a 50-pound suitcase. "

"Location, location, location!! Pat has a beautiful place right on the ocean. The place is very well-maintained and has absolutely everything. We were a family of 14 and were accommodated with everything we needed from beach towels, regular towels, bikes, beach, chairs, toys… There wasn’t one thing missing! "I grew up 15 miles from Newport Beach. The location is outstanding from a local perspective. 36-52 street is where locals go to the beach. It’s not as touristy and if you need food or a bathroom- head “home.” We enjoyed taking the Duffy Boat over to Balboa and grabbing a balboa bar. "The property was clean and a wonderful location! We were there for my son’s wedding. Kim was available anytime I had a question and was very accommodating.Unfortunately, the cliff (in front of a number of properties) gave way awhile back, so we weren’t able to go on the balcony and take advantage of the amazing view. "The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of the beaches and all of the dining venues. The lady at the front desk, Marie, was very helpful and positive. Hotel and rooms very clean and staff vey friendly. The Southwest architectural design of the building was very different from the normal hotel appearances- very welcoming and charming. If back in the area in the future we will gladly stay here again."
