"Great place to stop off either to stay or eat"

"Sehr schönes Hotel mit liebevoll und hochwertig eingerichteten Zimmern. Punktabzug gibt es für: 1. man muss beim Frühstück extra zahlen, wenn man eine „Kaffeespezialität“ wie einen Cappuccino bestellen möchte. 2. unter unserem Tisch im Zimmer lag noch Dreck vom vorherigen Gast. 3. am Abend wurden wir an der (nicht sehr vollen) Bar nicht proaktiv bedient, sondern sind nach einigen Minuten an die Bar zum bestellen gegangen. Alles eigentlich Kleinigkeiten, dennoch trübt das das sonst sehr gute...

"I watch a lot of hotel programmes so I'm a bit od a critic. Room was very clean and fresh. Friendly welcome and goodbye. Breakfast was nice. Great view of the hills and a short walk into the village"

"The site is nice, clean and well maintained. The food was excellent (as per my taste, but as you know... it is very subjective subject). The staff was friendly and kind. However, sorry for being picky, but the noise of a fan from a neighbor room did keep me awake for entire night. I was somehow disappointed by the advert where they were showing having bathtub in room, while actually I got just shower (yes, as you can guess, I am a big bathing person...sorry, nobody is perfect...)."

"A very busy place as there are no other hotels nearby. The decor is outlandish, and the staff do their best: repeating "no worries" is the extent of staff training. Rooms are stuffy and unventilated."

"Amazing views, very lovely staff, easy parking, very clean and comfortably spacious rooms. Only thing to note is that if the bar / restaurant is open and music on, and it's summer and you have windows open, it can get a bit noisy on the top floor. We stayed Friday and sat night so that might also make a difference. Parents were in room on cliffside below the restaurant and was much quieter there. Five stars easily even with this!"

"As a first time ,solo traveller, I couldn't praise the wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel enough. They were all so friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble , particularly in the restaurant and bar. The hotel has only been open a few weeks and there are still a few facilities not open but I will certainly return next year when the pool area etc should be complet. Thank you for a lovely stay"

"The staff were very helpful and let me store my pole vault pole, which is over 4m long, in the basement free of charge for the duration of my stay, which was very helpful. The hotel is only a short walk from Fistral Beach and convenient for the town centre. My single room was a good size with large window overlooking the sea."
