We had a very pleasant stay. We felt at home and our host Miguel made sure all our needs were met. Pick up and drop off to the airport was seamless. On arrival, groceries that were requested were inside the villa. Miguel arranged a rental car to be dropped off and picked up at the villa which made everything so convenient. The place was spotless, cleaners cleaned everyday except Sunday. The food was good and cocktails were amazing. Must try the cochinita pibil, island fritters, and ceviche. Miguel responded quickly and gave plenty of space to make you feel like you’re home. Oh, and the AC works very well. I would highly recommend the villa for a family or all three villas for a family/friend reunion.

Family Getaway - away from resorts

We were looking for a nice beachfront place away from the busy resorts and this place is a gem! We had a nice pool, shade and beach front for swimming and playing in the waves. The seaweed was a little bummer, but the beach is raked and most of the seaweed seemed to go right by and collect further down the beach. The food by Chef Miguel was outstanding, delivered right to the kitchen for family style convenient dining. We hope to stay again in the future!

Excellent stay!

Our stay was perfect! The house was nicer than I realized on the photos and we loved having our private pool and could walk right out to the beach. The pool area and the seaweed on the beach was cleaned daily as was the house (except on Sunday). They have lots of water and beach toys for you to use which was great. We enjoyed having Miguel prepare four of our dinners which were always so delicious. We could just relax in the pool and hang out on the beach! It was a short drive to the market and to the little beach town of Puerto Morales. We also used the photographer Miguel and Liza suggested and had a photo shoot one evening. If we needed anything the hosts were very helpful. Thanks for such a wonderful family memory!

Grand Getaway with the Grandkids

Miquel and Liza are perfect hosts with an amazing, beautiful and well equipped Villa. They helped us with airport transportation, tours and did a grocery run and had food in the fridge waiting for us. Chef Miquel cooked dinner for us every night and the food is plentiful and delicious. We had a great vacation with our grandkids. We will absolutely book with them again.

Despite the Storm

The 7-night stay started out a little rough due to the bad storm but once the ladies got acclimated to their new environment, things went very well. Not at all what they expected. The food was delicious and the staff and neighbors were very hospitable.

Come for the view, stay for the food!

The house, pool and beach are all lovely and well maintained. Excellent accomodations for a group or family. Everything one could want or need is provided. Miguel's cooking takes this from a great house to rent to a truly luxurious experience. He prepared 4 dinners for us and each was AMAZING! Thank you Liza and Miguel for being such wonderful hosts. We will be back.

Anniversary trip

Liza and Miguel are wonderful hosts. We let Chef Miguel cook for us most of the nights since we didn’t want to leave the house and the beach. Anna is a jewel! We loved this location and the kindness and professionalism of our hosts.

Great place and great food

Perfect size for our 2 families of 4. Lots of space in this gorgeous home. The pool was great for our kids and the ocean was just steps away. The kids played in the fine sand that was cleared of seaweed every day. It was quiet and secluded and we really enjoyed the catered food! We would definitely stay here again in the future. Exceeded our expectations!

Our 3 generation family of 19 spent 6 days with Liza and Miguel in the Shell, Boat and Fish villas. 11 adults and 8 children under the age of 6 yrs. The Secret Beach Villas was all that was advertised and more. It exceeded all of our expectations. Prior to arriving, communication with the owners was always prompt and informative. They leave nothing to question! Liza arranged our airport transfers and they were easy and very reasonable. Short 20 minute drive and after unloading at the house we included a grocery store stop to pick up a few things. Miguel was there to greet us, show us the "ropes" and welcome us to his home. Clean, clean, clean!! Everything inside and out! Comfortable beds, furniture, plenty of space to be together and to separate when needed. Kitchens are stocked and able to accommodate meal preparation, but we chose to order breakfast and dinner each day with Chef Miguel. Meals were delicious, reasonably priced and more than enough for all!! Pools are great and only steps from the house and from the beach........made it so easy to allow the children both options at the same time! 2 large trunks on the front porch of the Boat villa with plenty of pool and sand toys, floats, boogie boards and Kayaks! They really think of everything! Our timing allowed us to watch the Sea turtles nest on three separate nights......definitely an unexpected bonus! Maid and maintenance service was excellent and almost invisible! Security detail the same! Thank you Liza and Miguel for a great family trip to your beautiful property. We are already planning for next summer!

Mom’s 80th Birthday Celebration

We stayed in the “Boat House” (largest, middle unit). The location and pool were incredible! The staff was attentive and lovely. This location and convenient proximity to Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen and the airport can’t be beat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed being the only party on the property for the first couple of days. Eventually, a second party arrived, but they were thoughtful and a fun addition. The day before we left, a third party arrived and that became a little too many peeps sharing the property in our opinion. Loud music, voices and slamming doors became a little annoying. It just depends on the mix of parties you will encounter how that may impact your stay. It would be a great place for a family reunion where all three properties and people were shared.

Magical Getaway!

Secret Beach Villas was simply magical. Our villa was spacious, clean, and fully equipt and included daily maid service. Both indoors and outdoors, there is varied seating and lounging spaces for reading, playing, eating, and relaxing. The outdoors spaces allowed us to enjoy being together outside while enjoying our own activities. The pool was perfect for pool volleyball and other games our teens enjoyed. The beach was beautiful for walks and swimming. The setting is private and safe. Our hosts, Liza and Miguel, were very responsive to questions and advice. Chef Miguel cooked several meals for us which were beautiful and delicious! On days we went out for an adventure to cenotes or a boat trip, we would come back to a delicious meal made by Chef Miguel. This was by far the best vacation our family has had together, and we will be back again!

Such an awesome place and people

Words can't express how great Miguel and Liza did for our vacation. We haven't gone on a vacation for 3 years due to COVID etc.. and they made us feel safe, welcome, and SUPER relaxed. Their food is AMAZING, and always timely. They went above and beyond for us, and even got our kid a Pinata and Birthday cake for his 5th birthday. Sweetest people ever. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
