Amazing view and place to rest after beach and walking day in 5th avenue. My wife and Kids love this place. Only recomendation is to prior to arrival ensure contact the owner to confirm who/how get the keys for the department.

I rented this condo for a week with my sisters. It is very large. Perfect for us. Very clean and true to the pictures. Having our morning coffees on the balcony while watching the sunrise was my favorite. The restaurant’s food was excellent and very reasonable. The property manager Gabe was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable not only about the place but the area. I would recommend hiring him for tours!

We had a lovely stay in Paula’s condo. We’re already looking at booking again for next year. The unit was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed to cook some meals for ourselves. We also ate at the restaurant on site a few times. All of the staff was lovely. And Gabe was very helpful. The resort itself was quiet (perfect for us). The majority of the vacationers were aged 60 which created a friendly, relaxed environment. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this resort for young people who are looking to party. We really took advantage of the 2 balconies on the unit. We spent most of our time there. We walked to Playa almost every day because it’s super close. We also walked around the general area which sees very little foot or vehicle traffic compared to Xaman Ha road where the large resorts are. Playacar is lovely.

The condo is lovely and the perfect setting for a beach vacation. We walked on the beach every morning watching a beautiful sunrise, had breakfast on the balcony and swam in the ocean or pool in the afternoon. We explored the Mayan ruins across the street and on our way into town. We walked into town for dinner and some shopping on 5th Avenue. Gabe was very responsive when we had minor issues. And best of all Gabe was our tour guide when we went snorkeling in Akumal with the turtles then Yalku. Another time he took us to the Jardín de Eden cenote then to the glass factory. We had a wonderful time! Thank you Gabe!

Photos of condo listing don’t do justice to the spaciousness of the condo nor the amazing views of the water. A few steps from the beach and the pool. Enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely hotel staff especially kind to our children, and Gabriel the local property manager is a delight to communicate with. He’s so helpful and kind and will help set up a fantastic day trip for you. Take his advice for local food. So good.

The location was fabulous and the condo was great. Beautiful beach, nice pool. Just lacking service - we were told that we'd be able to order drinks from the pool bar to our room etc, but it was not possible and trying to order and pay for a drink or meal was very challenging.

We loved the condo & resort! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant & snack bar was very good. We also enjoyed the swim up bar. The resort had different activities during the week, which were a lot of fun. My daughters got a massage and they really enjoyed that! The condo was big, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I liked that the 2nd bedroom had 2 queen beds and there was a second sink in the main bedroom. If someone was taking a shower I could still get ready. I really liked how the host, Pamela, had taken the time to write some check-in instructions but also had other helpful info in there. It really helped us choose where to eat. We really enjoyed our stay there and we would definitely come back again!

An Experience Worth Coming Back For

My family and I stayed in Pamela's condo in Playa del Carmen, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The unit was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a convenient keypad entry so we didn’t have to worry about keys. It is located in a safe, gated community with 24/7 security and a stunning pool that overlooks the ocean. The condo is within walking distance of shopping centers, restaurants, and the ferry to Cozumel, which made everything incredibly convenient. We even had groceries and Starbucks delivered to the front of the lobby using Uber Eats, which was simple and reliable if you are already familiar with the app.What truly made our stay special, though, were the people. Gabe, the property manager, was welcoming, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our trip memorable. He checked in often, gave excellent local recommendations, and even arranged transportation to Aktun Chen Park. He went above and beyond when he took us to a local birria spot that served the best food of our entire trip. We also appreciated Gaby, the kind housekeeper, whose quiet presence and pride in her work left a lasting impression.It is easy to enjoy a place with a view and a pool, but it is the warmth of the people that made us feel truly at home. This trip reminded us that vacation is not just about relaxing. It is about connecting with new places and people. We cannot wait to return to Pamela’s lovely condo and reconnect with the friends we made.

Perfect Spring break paradise

Our week in the condo was just what our family of 5 needed. Plenty of sun, day trips and time to just relax by the pool. We had a rental car which made it easy to get around and we drove nightly to enjoy dinner or just walk around on 5th avenue. Parking was easy and only 15 pesos an hour in a lot near 38th street and 10th ave. The complex is well run,clean and we had everything we needed In our unit. Beds were comfortable and laundry was perfect for small loads. Both the owner and property manager are easy to communicate with and responsive. If you are looking for a comfortable and safe rental close enough toThe action but far enough you don’t need to hear it all night long you will like fisherman’s village. Also a plus that there are Mayan ruins right in front of the complex which was very cool. Beach is nice white sand and water was beautiful.

Quiet resort in great location

We had a lovely week of sunshine and beach. The resort was simple with a nice beach restaurant (guac and pico are wonderfully fresh) and another more formal restaurant with good food. Going in early March we avoided the spring breaker crowd and were surrounded by mostly retirees. Our 19 yo who is very active enjoyed the organized pool and beach volleyball. The area is incredibly safe and we were able to explore many restaurants and shopping areas to the north and south of the resort (15-20min walk). Our transportation to the resort (we used Miguel as recommended) was smooth as well as the check in with Gabriel. Gabriel went above and beyond for us and Gaby was a sweetheart and kept our space extremely clean. We did not have a car so we shopped upon arrival but did go to local OXXO to buy odds and ends. Beds were comfy and the condo is more spacious than most. My only complaint is that many members reserve their pool spots early (before 9am) making it difficult to get a chair around the pool or near the beach with an umbrella. Overall a fantastic stay and I highly recommend the area. Thank you Pamela for your attentiveness and recommendations. Thanks to Gabriel for being so kind and helpful and Gaby for being a ray of sunshine and doing an exemplary job.

Playa Family Vacation

We really enjoyed being in this community. It is very charming, and away from the hustle and bustle of all the business, yet only a 15 minute walk to the excitement in town. We also greatly enjoyed some day trips to "The Jungle Place", and Xcarat. Lovely people at this condo development, both the staff and the guests.

Love this resort

Pamela's place was great with a beautiful views and all that we needed to make lunches and dinners. She was available by text for anything we needed. We have been staying at that resort for 20 years. Would definitely rent Pamela's place again.

Great Location

Very nice condo in a great location. Playacar Phase 1 is a quaint and quiet area on a beautiful beach. It’s a pleasant walk to town, but taxis are easy to get as well. The photos provided are accurate. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Best place in Playacar

Wir hatten 4,5 wunderschöne Wochen in diesem tollen Appartement! Es fehlt einem dort an nichts, beste Strandlage, ein Pool für groß und klein, super motivierte und nette Angestellte, die einem jedem Wunsch erfüllen! Wir sind schon 10x in México gewesen, doch das toppt alles!!! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! :-)
