The location was great! We were near Calle Cinco and the beach was in the backyard. The place was spacious. In the little room, the air conditioning was a bit loud but it didnt really bother us. Overall good experience.

Great condo!

We have stayed in many of the condos at Xaman-Ha. This was a beautiful condo. The property management is great to work with as well. It was a wonderful trip!

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this unit! As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with an amazing view of the grounds and ocean. The unit was very neat and clean. There was plenty of space for my family.

The property is located near Quinta Avenida, shopping malls, restaurants and public transportation. The condo was in good condition and the staff (Oscar) was very helpful.

Excellent condo!

We loved our stay at this property. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and the property was quiet at night. The pool bartender Patty made us feel like longtime friends. We will return!

Best vacation

We found the property location to be perfectly located in Playa with great access to shopping, restaurants and beachfront. Spacious condo with lots of room to relax and play. Highly recommend.

Me and my family had a great time very clean and private are, also walking distance to the 5th Ave. This is a family friendly condo but we had an issue with an older person at the pool who was not so kind friendly and was annoyed

The perfect place

Beautiful place, perfect location just walking distance form 5th Ave and the main street to go shopping or out for dinner, walking distance from the Ferry to go to Cozumel. I will definitely stay there again. Oscar the property manager was very helpful, and our request were always taken care of.

The smell was horrible

The place was nice but the smell from the sargassum made it to unpleasant to enjoy the pool or beach and the smell was in the condo as well. So not stay in Playa del carmen area from April to August which is when the sargassam hits.

Perfect location

Excellent location - just a few minutes walk to 5th Ave with shopping, restaurants, etc... Right on the beach. Although seaweed season apparently came early this year and we weren't able to sit out or swim in the ocean, it was still a perfect view. Pool/pool bar were fantastic. Great bunch of people and a great bartender!

Great family getaway

We loved staying here in Playacar it was perfect to have a parking spot for our car, enough beds to sleep everyone, air conditioning to cool off and be so close to the beach. We had a lot of fun. There were a few things like and oven and dressers for clothes storage I wish we would have had because we were staying for over 3 weeks. However we managed fine. The staff was helpful and our local contact was awesome to help us. Plus we had a car and were able to get anything further we needed at the store. It was a great stay. Thank you!

Our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The condo had everything you would need to enjoy a home. Balcony was enjoyable. Site management was very efficient on any request as well as thoughtful and kind. The only thing that was annoying was Robin the bartender/ bar chose not to open 2 of the days we were there. So unable to get drinks or order a burger. Not a big deal however annoying and inconvenient for us.

Wonderful

This place was perfect for us. Perfect location- so close to the downtown area (easy walk) but far enough to be peaceful and without noise. My kids loved the pool, the older one loved swimming in the waves, and we all loved the porch hammocks. We rented a car and there was a designated parking spot. Place is very clean and great service. They offered to clean partway through. Having purified water at the condo was fantastic. Plenty of everything we needed including towels. There was seaweed on the beach while we were there, same as other beaches in the area, but for us it did not detract from the wonderful experience. We would definitely come back!

A little slice of paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is absolutely perfect: within a gated community, a five minute walk from the famous Quintana avenida, and located DIRECTLY on the beach! Overall, I would highly recommend this property. PROS 1) location (walking distance to everything, including the ferry) 2) spacious (plenty of beds/bedrooms) 3) supplies (loads of pots, pans, cutlery and toiletries plus books, board games and beach toys) 4) pool (there's a swim up bar!) 5) cleaning service (this is was a pleasant surprise...please tip the staff!) CONS 1) beach is eroded and a little rocky upon entry 2) no elevators...condo is located on third floor 2) we couldn't watch our TV apps in the primary bedroom...may be time for a new tv Overall this was a phenomenal week long stay and we will be back!

Phenomenal unit walking distance to everything

This place is as good as described and exactly like the pictures show. Cold A/C, LARGE fully equipped kitchen, Large fridge. Condo was everything we hoped for. Facility and pool great, pool bar hours 9-5. Beach area is small when sea is high, and seaweed/sargassum is present but light to medium 4/1. Very short walk to all the restaurants, shopping, ferry, transportation, grocery, pretty much anything a person wants. We found it VERY enjoyable and will return. Thanks. P.s. management team is very responsive, instant actually. Soap, shampoo, TP was all supplied.

Good location, great view.

Great location, great view, safe neighborhood and yet very close to all the action, walking distance to everything. Nice pool. We liked the condo, it was clean and everything was functional. Only suggestions are that it could use some updating on linens and furniture. Also, I don’t recall reading anywhere that it was on the third floor and requires walking stairs. I don’t recommend for those that may find that difficult. I may have just missed that. But overall we did enjoy it.

Amazing.

We loved our stay here! The beds were comfortable. The place is super clean. The community itself is amazing, safe, protected, secure, and a paradise. The grounds are immaculate, and maintained each morning. And the staff at the complex were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to wake up, walk out on the balcony, and view the spectacular Caribbean ocean. The communication with the host was outstanding! Probably the best experience we have ever had, and we have stayed at a lot of places. Any questions I had they responded within 20 minutes night or day. A great surprise about Playa Del Carmen is there are amazing restaurants in town within a mile or two of the condo. Some of the best restaurants we’ve ever eaten at. And we are food snobs. We totally loved staying here and we’ll totally stay here again when we make it back to the area. We will also tell all our friends.

Nice place

Nice place. Only issues were we needed basic things like paper towels and trash bags the maid service came but didn’t clean due to belongings being out so we asked for more bags and the trash to be thrown as well as more toilet paper. Good idea to stock those up. The air conditioner had a leak they fixed it the next day. Swim up bar was great and security was on top of our neighbors who were really loud at 3am. The property was gated so we felt safe and a short walk to the mall or any oxxo like a 7/11 for simpler things. A grocery pickup service would be nice because we had to get a taxi to the grocery store and hauling it up and down the stairs was not fun. There are a few little cats wondering outside the property that my kids loved. Overall loved our stay.

Good place to stay

Great team, everybody very polite and helpful Have a technical issue with the refrigerator, maintenance team addressed and fixed. Freezer door still need to align to prevent overheating
