Great location, very comfortable and gorgeous view
We really enjoyed our stay there. You can't beat the fabulous view and being right on the ocean. The pool was awesome and there were always lounge chairs available. There is so many really great restaurants that are within walking distance which is great as Uber's are not allowed there and the price for the taxi's is a bit high. Dawn was wonderful about getting back to us immediately if we had any questions or concerns. We would definitely stay there again if we go to Playa del Carmen. The prices were a bit higher than we expected when eating and shopping. It helps to know a little Spanish. Our daughter speaks fluent Spanish and was a huge help with negotiations and pricing. The one time I didn't have her with me I was overcharged when I was a little too trusting. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with our family.

Great Three Bedroom
We have stayed at Xaman Ha 6-7 times. This is one of the best units that we have stayed in. The living room furniture is good looking and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and barware. The bedrooms are all very comfortable with large tv's in each room. The deck included a great view, ample seating and as a bonus a gas grill. We would book this unit again without hesitation. Thanks Dawn and Glenn

Perfect Family Vacation!
Outstanding property with a very accommodating owner. You cannot find a better location from it's access to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife yet in the peaceful gated community of Playacar. The updated condo was very clean with comfortable furniture and smart TVs in all the rooms. The view is outstanding. Morning coffee out on the balcony was awesome. Don't miss out on Happy Hour 2-3pm at the poolside bar. The Xaman Ha Condos take pride in the cleanliness of its facility right down to maintain the cleanest beach in Playa del Carmen. Dawn was amazing. She answered all our pre-departure questions and referred us to her airport driver which was hassle-free. Convenient to have Hertz and Budget rental car out the main gate for daytrips. Don't miss out on stay here!!!

Great Family Vacation
We took our adult children and had a blast. It was walking distance to 5th street and the ferry to Cozumel. Pool was great had happy hour 2-3 everyday. Beach was nice except this was seagrass season so the water was a tad murky. Dawn was a great host. We used Jerry's transportation service that Dawn has in her packet for the airport, and daily excursions that were 30 mins away. I highly recommend Twin Hooks deep sea fishing in Port Morales. We caught so many fish and Abraham the captain cooked them for us at his restaurant when we got back. So much fun! We went to Tulum, then on the way back we ate at a great beach restaurant called La Buena Vida in Akumal. You have to eat there, food fantastic they have a pool or you can snorkel right there on their property.

Great Getaway!
Our family of seven (adults) comfortably stayed at this convenient & beautiful location. The host (Dawn) was very responsive - immediately providing ideas & suggestions for our trip, contact information for safe & reliable transportation, and ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. The location is convenient (walking distance) to shopping, restaurants, & the ferry to Cozumel. Convenience stores are nearby, and taxis are available only a few hundred feet away. (We took that route when we wanted to shop for food and drinks.) We would definitely recommend this property for anyone traveling to the area!

The good: Kick ass blender Dawn’s pre arrival instructions were very helpful location of complex is away from noise of Playa but still walkable to all of the Playa action pool atmosphere chill plenty of lounge chairs a/c works well complex provide ls fresh bottled water Views are perfect from this unit tip: check the cabinet above the microwave…we added to it, but it was well stocked Transportation recommendations from Dawn were spot on was well stocked with any and all kitchen needs If you must have lounge chairs on the beach itself, not an option, however loungers available right above beach with direct ocean views and breezes. washer and dryer worked fine as well.

We lost a lot of beach in February which is why the loungers are not currently on beach. Once beach returns which could be any day now Xaman Ha will reset the loungers on the beach. Thanks for the review. Your group was awesome. Dawn

Golf Trip in Playa
What a find!! I almost don’t want to tell others about this place, but Glenn and Dawn were so accommodating that it would be a crime not to. Come for the sun, beach and pool, book again and again for the clean spacious condo, crisp AC, and swim up pool bar staffed by the same local legend for the last 14 years. Thanks for having us! Beautiful views, wonderful condo
Everything about our stay was amazing! The condo was so comfortable & the listing was spot on, with the pictures being exact! We loved the pool & swim up bar, the views were amazing & the staff was wonderful & so helpful! Dawn was terrific to work with, answering all questions & giving the best advice! She even went out & bought a glass 9x13 pan because I wanted to make egg bake! So sweet! The week went way too fast, but we will be back!

our family had a amazing time at Dawn and Glenn's property ... The VRBO was clean, in a great location to the swim up bar and extremely close to 5th avenue .. Robin the bartender was amazing along with everything else about this stay .. The beach in front of the property is pretty inaccessible to swimming and walking along the beach due to the very large amount of seaweed in the water and gathered up on the shoreline .. Besides that I would highly recommend...

Awesome adult getaway!
We absolutely loved our stay at Senor Glenn’s. The condo had plenty of room, was well stocked and clean. The pool was great to hang out at and we enjoyed our time with the bartender, Robin! It’s close to so many restaurants, bars, shopping, the pier and so much more. Plus Dawn’s contact, Jerry, for transfers was perfect. Elias was our driver this week and we had so much fun! We had a great time on our trip and would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful convenient stay
The location is great. You can walk just a few minutes (on the beach!) to the ferry’s that leave to Cozumel every hour. It is right near the tourist 5th Avenue downtown area. The vibe was nice, relaxed, and the guac and piña colada at the Pool bar were especially delicious!

Wonderful trip!
The location was perfect. Close walk to the ferry and close to new stores and also a short walk from 5th Avenue to shop from the locals. The owner was amazing and even answered questions while we were there. Her recommendations were spot on!

Great property and great location
The condo is spacious and well equipped. The balcony is a heat space for morning coffee and evening drinks. The pool and pool bar were great. And all of this is walking distance to 5th Ave, but in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful and convenient location!
The condo is very well maintained and nicely decorated. The property is beautiful and right on the beach. The location is very quiet with a laid back atmosphere but you are a short walk from a very happening area with blocks of restaurants, stores and bars with plenty of live music. It’s much more pleasant than Cancun and has a neighborhood feel. Will definitely be going back in the future.

The best option for family / friends in Playa de Carmen
My family and I traveled for my birthday from Costa Rica were we live for four night quick vacation. The condo is in the perfect place. On the beach, short walk to many places including the ferry to Cozumel and senior frogs. We used Jerry the recommended taxi service for an incredible day visiting chichen itsa ruins and three cenotes. Unbelievable day with Orlando our driver. Next day Jerry’s service to XCARET. Awesome day too then stopped at the market for few things. Final day 5 min walk to ferry for a day in Cozumel. The condo is beautiful, awesome pool and a few feet from the beach. We highly recommend for your PDC vacation

The most amazing condo
Dawn is the owner and she was so very accommodating. We were in a pinch and she did everything she could to help us out. Directions and access to everything was easy. Wifi was right there and very good. There are multiple tv in rooms. The house just felt cozy and welcoming. This is the nicest and cheapest place to get around. You are on the beach. First time staying non all-inclusive, best decision!
Property owners Dawn and Glenn are extremely communicative and nice, a wealth of information. We went to several of the places on their recommendation list and was not disappointed with any of them! (Don't miss thr chicken place! Cheap eats and oooh sooo tasty. The condo was clean, modern, and well equipped. We had groceries delivered for a nice touch when we arrived. Very laid back atmosphere. Robin at the pool bar makes amazing made-to-order guac and the best tropical drinks! Location was top notch and a very short walk to "everything." We used Jerry for our transportation and excursions, highly recommended! This was our first time at PDC not staying at an all-inclusive and we are so glad we chose this place! We were able to explore and dive into the culture and we all enjoyed our vacation. The only note, which is simply mother nature, was the beach wasn't great for our visit. The way the winds and tides were moving it caused a heavy seaweed build up on the beach. However, that did not take away from our vacation or enjoyment!

Awesome Vacation
The condo exceeded our expectations. Two couples with an 8, 9 and 10 year old between us. Both king beds were super comforatable; same with the full beds for the kids. The water pressure in the showers were great. The hosts are so sweet to have basic essentials like jam, seasonings, pool toys and even some liquor to use. The location was absolutely perfect to be able to walk to the 5th Avenue shops and restaurants. We spent a few days lounging at the pool and beach and the other days exploring. The kitchen is well stocked for those looking to make meals at the condo. Housekeeping every other day was a huge bonus as well. The owner was so sweet to email back and forth and share recommendations on excursions and restaurants. We would rent this condo again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Location, Beautiful Views, Well-Appointed Condo
We stayed in February 2019--two moms and their daughters, ages 9 and 11. First, Dawn was super helpful and responsive to questions before and throughout our stay. We took advantage of the grocery delivery service and were set up for the week. There's no need to rent a car as everything is super close by. The town is literally around the corner. So many great restaurants. If you get a chance, see if Jerry can take you for an excursion. He took us to the Tulum ruins and the Grand Cenote plus lunch right on the beach. It was the highlight of the trip. Jerry was great with our girls and super fun to spend the day with learning about the history of Tulum and the modern-day evolution of Playa del Carmen. This condo is perfect for families who want to be on the beach, have a pool and walk everywhere. The staff were lovely and helpful. The beach has suffered serious erosion--so there's not much left in terms of wide, sandy space. In fact, walking down to the pier was impossible most of our trip. There's still a little area with about 12 loungers and umbrellas, which were wonderful and always available. Robin at the bar makes great drinks. Don't miss the guacamole. We'd return again for sure!

Best Property, in the Best Location, to make the Best Vacation ever
We just returned from a week at Glenn and Dawn's condo. I went with my two adult sons. The Condo was everything that we could have hoped for and then some. The Staff at the complex was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool made for a great afternoon spot with the swim up bar and the nicest bartenders. The beach in front of the complex is great. At night time the walks to the local restaurants was very convenient and a wide variety to choose from. The local fishing tours are just a walk down the beach. We definitely will look to book this again for the next year. It was a great vacation !

This was our second year in a row my family spent our Holiday in Playa at Xaman Ha and in Dawn and Glenn's condo. I could write exactly the same thing as I did last year so please reference that review as well . So to add something new. Can't stress enough how functional and well appointed this condo is. It seems like anything we might need was already anticipated and was available. Kitchen supplies, fresh water cooler, fast wi-fi ,tvs,computer with a printer, information,games,books,beach supplies, and balcony space with excellent view. If you are exploring Playa or just spending the day at the condo you have everything you need. It cannot be overstated what a convenient location Xaman Ha is located . If you want to stay at a great place on the beach and be within walking distance to all that is fun on 5th and 10th , I'm pretty sure you couldn't rent a condo closer. Finally , it seems like almost everyone we told from home that we were coming to Playa said something like " be careful" or " heard it wasn't safe". This is not true. Xaman Ha is located in a gated subdivision and has 24hr security patrolling the grounds. Playa del Carmen in the tourist area is a family place and totally safe. When you go out to dinner you will notice that almost every table is filled with families from all over the globe. We had our entire side of the family down there in several condos and no one had any sort of experience where they felt unsafe. We were treated nothing but friendly and graciously by the locals.

Lovely condo unit in great location within the complex. Easy to get to unit once you know where to park and where the unit is located. Great walkable location to 5th Ave, ferry, groceries, restaurants. Convenient central location to the various ruins. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony each morning. Wide selection of cookware and spices if you decide to stay in. Will be returning!

Great Condo, Great Location, Great Owner
This condo was perfect in every respect. It is as described -- nicely updated, decorated and furnished. It has a double size balcony with a great view of the ocean. Although only a 5 minute walk from the main tourist area with its shops and restaurants, you have the feeling that you are far from it in a quiet peaceful resort. The pool bar is excellent and the pool is wonderful with areas for children that are not too deep. Our 7 year old grandson spent several hours every day making new friends and playing with them in the pool. He loved it. I enjoyed long walks on the beach and swimming in the ocean. One of the best things about the condo is its wonderful owner Dawn. We cannot thank her enough for her advice and recommendations. We ordered groceries to be delivered before our arrival. Dawn called to make sure they were there. When they were not there, she contacted a friend and had them delivered the next morning (and it was Easter!). Three weeks before our trip, 2 ferry boats were bombed in Playa and the U.S. closed its consulate. I was concerned and emailed Dawn. Within an hour she telephoned me. She was in Playa and said all was safe and tourists were everywhere. She told me that area residents believed this was a one time local political issue and it was over. It was not terrorism. We heard the same story about local politics from our guides. We felt completely safe. I would not hesitate to return to Playa tomorrow. I would definitely rent this condo again. It was perfect. (This may not be a condo for people who cannot do a few stairs. We are healthy seniors in our late 70's and the short easy flights of stairs posed no problem for us.) Thank you again Dawn.

We are already in the process of planning a rebooking. It was our first time visiting to Playa del Carmen, we couldn't have found a better place to stay to enjoy the experience. The condo was awesome. The info and tips provided was very helpful. Location could not be better. Walking access to the 5th St. , the ferry ,local restaurants and mall. Beautiful white soft sand beach with plenty of chairs. Robin , William take great care of you at bar. Just the perfect blend hotel ammenites with still feeling for a moment like you had your own place in pardise.

Best location in Playa del Carmen!
This is the best imaginable location in Playa del Carmen - easily accessible to downtown food and entertainment options, but quiet and access to a terrific beach. The condo itself has great views of the beach and all the amenities. Its well laid out for multiple families, or a number of children. I really couldn't imagine a better arrangement for a Playa del Carmen vacation! Also, the owners are prompt and responsive to questions. I can't wait to return!

Terrific
A wonderful stay with my kids and grandchildren 8 and 9 at Xiamen Ha.our condo thanks to Senior Glenn was not lacking anything. Traveling with two chefs along made whipping up some top Mexican meals a breeze. Grilling chilis and chorizo for relenos at breakfast had the pool bar green with envy !! The beach was kept free of seaweed and we loved relaxing in the lounge chairs watching the kids enjoy the surf. Only downfall was all of the stairs but we found the back way to the pool after a few days. I have rented homes in Playacar for the past 6 years and also a unit at El Faro but will return to this condo again next year-a great place for a family get away.

Perfect condo in Playa Del Carmen
We had such a wonderful time. The condo was clean, spacious and well stocked. Housekeeping came by every other day. There were even some "toys" for the beach (boogie boards, paddle game, etc.) that we could use. The views from the balcony were spectacular. The pool and beach were pristine with plenty of chairs in the sun and the shade. Breakfast, lunch and drinks are available right at the pool for very reasonable prices. The bar shuts down at 5pm, which was great because it meant no loud partying at night. It's a 5 minute walk into town for shopping, dinner and nightlife. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the owners and property manager to the bartender and cleaning staff. I would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Dawn for a wonderful family vacation!
