This beach is average. This is not the powder white sand of the Caribbean or even the Gulf coast. The beach is kind of narrow - or maybe we were always seeing the tide up. We walked it for a long distance. It is lined with hotels and resorts and, farther north, bars. This is not a quiet secluded beach, although at the Poppies end it was very quiet.
