"The room was fantastic, very spacious and a lot of thought had gone into the decor. The bar and food was also lovely and the staff could not have been friendlier. I've scored 5 for everything except eco-friendliness, as I have an EV, a charger in the car park would have been very useful. Hotels of this quality are normally also much more expensive!"

"Uniqueness & history of home… Beautiful home, be ready to walk up 3 1/2 floors if room is on top floor…. No lyft. Not a problem for a 17th century hm, just realize that- Would recommend a bathtub safety bar in rm 310#. Very sm tub, but nothing to help pull to get out of it! Rather comical trying to get out… just funny after 10 minutes… lol. Loved our stay…"

"A great place if you wana drive down the night before your cruise as its close to the terminal! Nice freindly staff, food exellent! The room was basic but clean as was the bathroom. We where in a downstairs room so we had noisy upstairs occupants so when they walked across the room you could hear the footsteps and floorboards creaking! Fire alarm went off in the early hours but that cant be helped! Not a bad stay and i would stay there again. Highly recommend the fish&chips👌"

"Very good location. Pub staff very friendly and professional particularly Alex who was excellent. Nice menu with a variety of options all prepared and presented extremely well. Nice room, but did have to ask for a change of sheets after 6 days. Would also have liked a grab bar in the shower. My wife and I are seniors and were nervous about slipping. However, have to say the shower was the easiest to use of any hotel we have stayed in. Highly recommended !"

No me gusto servicio del restaurante, el desayuno muy bueno, caliente, pero la misma cosa todos los dias, yo entiendo que es un típico desayuno inglés, pero debio haber mas variedad. "Friendly staff, checked in at the bar and even though it was busy the bartender was so friendly and showed us straight to the room with no wait. Comfy and well decorated room. Breakfast was great (they can do vegan if you ask and had 0 fuss). "
