I was impressed with the beautiful landscaping and well kept yards. Everything was immaculately clean and well taken care of to the last detail. The lake views…especially at sunrise were spectacular and at moments blinding! We enjoyed the panorama from the porch and usually ate our meals there as the temperature was perfect. The main room is flanked in huge windows and black out shades. I especially enjoyed the warm wood interiors and snuggly blankets. The host family was available for suggestions and supplies, and a tour of the other unoccupied units. We utilized the hot tub one evening and once we fine tuned the jets to our needs…it was perfect and easy to use. I highly recommended this rental.

My favorite parts - the view, the screened in porch, and the hot tub to enjoy the view! Everything about our stay was wonderful. Late 40’s couple, 13yo daughter and Ms Lucy - our recently adopted canine girls first vacation. Our hosts (and their beautiful children and dog) were absolutely hidden until we mentioned an issue with the tv (really no issue to us at all, but it was a big issue to Jon). There was a brand new tv installed and working by the time we got home! Location is easily accessible to so many things. My husband and daughter went zip-lining while Ms Lucy and I decided to read in the screened in porch while enjoying the view. My husband and 13yo daughter loved the pool table (and foozz ball)! They played for hours every day and she thoroughly enjoyed it. She’ll be 14 in November so parents in the age range will get it I will also say - I never would have known that this was a pet friendly rental. Thank you for an amazing stay. We enjoyed every minute and my eyes filled up when I left. Never take a view like that for granted!!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Loza house. We were very comfortable and the amenities were top notch. We especially enjoyed the lake front fire pit, pool & foosball table, private hot tub and amazing views. The screened in porch unit was the perfect place for our end of summer getaway. It was our first trip with our pup and the hosts made sure we knew she was welcome and that allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves even more. I highly recommend the Loza house!

Such a beautiful spot, and terrific hosts! My daughter loved the private hot tub, and taking naps on the screened in porch! Very quiet neighborhood, and great views!!! It was such a nice, relaxing stay, and we took Jon’s suggestions to visit the Ausable Chasm just down the road. Gorgeous!!! Everything is just minutes away, and we were able to fit a lot of activities into our 4 day stay! We hope to visit again soon!!!

An amazing property

Spent six perfect nights. Jon and Sergio and their two children were wonderful hosts. My wife and I have stayed at dozens of rentals over the years and this was by far the best. We are actually talking about returning later this year.

Wonderful Memories

My husband, I and our two granddaughters, ages 7 and 15, had an absolutely wonderful 2 day stay. Very comfortable accommodations, spectacular view and location right on Lake Champlain. Amazing location to recharge!

LoZa House was fabulous 10/10!

We stayed at the LoZa House for a long weekend for a cousins weekend (ages 13,17,26,27). We had a lovely time! The listing is accurate, the place was clean & the view is absolutely gorgeous! Jon & Sergio were extremely attentive and while we only had one request during our stay (to increase the hot tub temp) they did it immediately and were so lovely! We didn't need to ask for anything, because everything was already there! The space is actually bigger than I thought and everything is strategically laid out. We didn't really use the kitchen but it appeared everything we would've needed was there! It's the little things to me and the water pressure and water temp in the shower was so so wonderful ha! You can spend your day on the lake in their kayaks,paddle boats, etc. or you can explore the area. There isn't too much to do in Plattsburgh itself but it's a quick drive to Burlington, VT and to Lake Placid. Ausable Chasm is a super close destination where you can do water activities and an adventure trail. We did ziplining and boating in Lake Placid about an hour away. You can tell Jon and Sergio truly care about your stay & their adorable kiddos even drew us pictures to take home with us to commemorate our stay! You can not go wrong with this rental!

Weekend at the Loza House

We stayed at the wonderful Loza house for the weekend. The unit was beautiful, in excellent condition and very well equipped. The check-in process was seamless and our host, Jon was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The location was amazing, one of the best on-lake locations we have stayed at over the last few years. Overall everything exceeded our expectations, highly recommend.

Fantastic!!

Our stay at LoZa house was absolutely fantastic! Jon has provided every amenity you could possibly need on your vacation. My family and I have stayed at many VRBO’s in the past around the country and this home is the best by far. Usually you have to pay for extras like the use of a paddle boat, kayaks but these are included in your stay. We enjoyed the use of a private hot tub as well. We loved the screened in porch and spent many hours enjoying the gorgeous Lake Champlain. My daughter celebrated her birthday during our stay and Jon made her a homemade cherry tart (absolutely delicious) and Lorenzo and Zara made her Birthday cards!! Beautiful stay and absolutely the kindest people you could meet! Thank you, John, Sergio, Lorenza and Zara for a incredible vacation, we will be back next year! We miss our little friends already!

Family visit

Jon and Sergio were really great hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and were quick with communication. All questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner. We appreciate the goodies that you brought down to us and my girls enjoyed playing with Zara. We didn't know that we could use your kayaks, but glad we brought our own because there were 7 guests there with only 2 of your kayaks and we were all looking to go on the water at the same time. We were also hopoing to have a dock to fish off and a sink to fill up our water bottles in. Overall we had a good experience and appreciated the games during the rainy day.

Book This Property!

Our stay at the LoZa house was absolutely wonderful in every way. We will not hesitate to book this property again. The Adirondack porch was lovely and comfortable. The view of the lake was unbeatable. The space was immaculate and totally updated. The lack of a full kitchen was absolutely no problem at all. We prepared our food using a combination of the grill and the available appliances. Think of it as a high end resort with elements of camping. I cannot say enough positive things about the grounds. Again, you’re getting an upscale resort feel with this rental. There is a hot tub right outside the door of the porch which overlooks the lake, we took advantage of this perk several times. The grounds are grassy with well manicured gardens. Access to the lake via a dock and a Rocky shore made it easy to get into the water for swimming and other water activities. Everyone in my family used the kayaks and pedal boat several times through our stay. We spent each evening relaxing by a fire before returning to the porch to play games. The host family is honestly one of the nicest families I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Jon was responsive to all my questions in advance of the stay and then was helpful while we settled in. He even made sure to alert us to the absolutely spectacular moon rise on our first night. Our stay felt both private and welcoming. It was capped off with personalized thank you illustrations from Jon and Sergio’s children!

Wonderful Getaway!

Our family stayed for five nights at LoZa House and found it hard to leave! The view from the front porch over Lake Champlain is exceptional, the indoor accomodations were great and filled with personal touches, and the hosts were lovely and so communicative. We enjoyed use of the hot tub and solo stove, peddle boat/kayak, pool table, and had comfortable sleeps. Close proximity to Plattsburgh, Ausable Point+Chasm, River Rentals, Rulfs Orchard and other great day trips. We truly hope we can stay again!

Beautiful!!!

This was the best VRBO property we have stayed at to date. We picked it for the view and water access which was perfect. We loved the screen porch and my husband liked the hot tub. The accommodations were spotless and our hosts were so incredibly gracious and welcoming. The only sad part was we had to leave. I loved it and will be back!

Relaxing getaway
