Came up for a hockey 🏒 tournament, beautiful place , Amy and Dan responded quickly to any questions we had. Definitely will come back and tell our (hockey family) about the house .

Enjoyed the spacious living area; however, the house definitely needs care and could be cleaner. If you are not a fan of SPIDERS this house may not be for you! A good sweep down of webs and even exterminator would be beneficial. But I hate spiders!! Ack!!Location is a plus and kitchen is very nice. Washer/dryer on-site and an abundance of towels, also a plus. Perhaps a winter visit but due to spiders inside and out we would not stay spring through fall. Beautiful scenery though!

Location location location

The home had everything one could need -it was clean - but really could use a deep clean. The view was beautiful and the house was spacious. The downstairs really needs a window air conditioner- it would make the humidity from outside more tolerable. The house really needs an update on mattresses and comfortable furniture in the TV room - better shower heads also. However we had a good time and it was enjoyable to have our dogs with us.

Perfect spot.

We had a fantastic vacation. The kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. The adults enjoyed early morning kayaking and enjoying morning coffee with a beautiful view.

Great 50th celebration

This property was great for our 50th wedding aniversary celabration. Beautful view and short walk to sandy beach. There are ac units in every spacious bedroom. Handicap bathroom with shower was a surprise which one of our guests needed. The rental was stocked well. We are definitely going back next year. The hosts were easy to communicate with.

Lakefront Calm

This house is well taken care of and sits right on the lake with a lovely view of Crab island, the ferries coming and going from Cumberland Head and Grand Isle in the distance and a sparkling sunrise on the water. The birds sing all day. The waves lap against the shore, and the built out room off of the kitchen overlooks it all. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept, and it is a ten minute drive to SUNY. The owners respected our privacy and responded immediately to any communications. There was no real need to contact them during the visit because the house so we’ll set up for us and the directions were so clear, but we had questions before we came to the house, when we were deciding whether to rent it, and they were very accommodating. I recommend the house highly.

Thanksgiving Holiday/Hockey

I stay in Plattsburgh most of November as I have a daughter who plays hockey at the university. I was happy with the location and beautiful views the property provided. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of extra blankets if needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware.

July visit

We visit family in Plattsburgh each summer and were happy to stay at this very spacious and comfortable home. Beautiful views of the lake and the little beach in the neighborhood was perfect for my young grandson. Everything was great!

Mixed experience

To start with the positives, this house is in a great location and has an amazing view of the lake. The house is quite spacious and has a fully stocked kitchen. On the other side of things, the dock was not installed for our stay which was very disappointing, the owner did what they could to get it installed in time but it did seem it was mostly out of their control. The house does feel a bit outdated, but could be dealt with. The biggest concern we had is the bugs. The yard was almost unusable due to the swarm of bugs that were around all sides of the house. It was nearly impossible to walk even from the driveway into the house without a face full of bugs.
