Was in a perfect location for attending the Texas Renaissance Festival! The property was well kept and comfortable. Those recliners were incredible. Plan to stay again next year for sure!

Peaceful getaway

The host made us feel welcome. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. It had everything thing we needed. The setting among tall pine trees is lovely and peaceful.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wedding to attend in Magnolia, and when searching for hotels, we found this place. It's cozy and comfortable, and the property is beautiful. We loved having all the animals around. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Wonderful cabin!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this darling cabin! The cabin was clean, the scenery is beautiful, and the animals on site are delightful. The hosts are very easy to talk with and were happy to take us on a tour of the property. We enjoyed seeing the cows right outside of our cabin as we relaxed in the mornings on the comfortable porch. There are great restaurants in the nearby town, and a grocery store is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Beautiful property and cute livestock

We loved the cabin. It was really cozy. Confy chairs, beds and enough space for 4 people. Wi-Fi, Netflix and Amazon Prime available. They gave us a property tour. They own chickens, horses, cows, a donkey and also a llama. Unfortunately we couldn‘t pet all of them. Vic and Debbie are really nice and friendly people. The only reason we don‘t give 5 stars is, because we couldn‘t go horseback riding. You have to book it 2 months prior. We didn‘t know that. They offered us a last minute ride but we already booked with another ranch. But we are glad we visited and loved our stay.

Tranquil beauty in the piney woods, with roaming livestock to boot. Have a carefree cup of coffee on the front porch, because you’re only 7 minutes from TRF. This was our second stay and it was as great as remembered.

Family Wedding Weekend

It was great to have a few quiet moments at the Iron Horse Ranch. It was the perfect, serene contrast to a fun family wedding weekend. Everything was just as we expected!

Beautiful property

Wonderful property with really nice owners. There are cows free roaming which is so nice. You basically have them in your front yard. Would stay again.

Fishing trip

Everything thing was great and we enjoyed our stay. The only problem we had was there was not enough hot water. Two guys couldn't get a shower in. I'm glad our third guy didn't show up because 2 of 3 would have gotten cold showers.

Wedding Weekend

We went to my nephews wedding in Montgomery This was an overall better decision than going to a motel as I have grown children and spouses. We all had a place to sleep and shower. It was quite and relaxing. In the country away from the hustle and bustle!

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay. Our 2yr and 7yr old boys loved getting to watch the livestock roam around infront of the cabin as did me and my husband. Cabins are nice and cozy and the owners are very helpful and nice. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the near future.

Good for an over night stay.

We had two children that wanted to play outside and see the animals. We were disappointed that our 11 year old granddaughter was told she wasn’t allowed to be outside without a parent. We went on a tour of the property and saw beautiful horses but weren’t allowed to pet them. We knew we would tour but had no idea they couldn’t see them at other times. The other problem and real reason we had to leave early is that the area just has no water/ pool/ lake…or relief from the heat. We enjoyed the cute cabin just didn’t want to sit indoors the entire time. Deb was as sweet as can be!

Great place in the woods

Really comfortable place and the host were so awesome. It was the perfect get away to disconnect from the world and have the comforts of home. It was only two of us and you can easily get 4,5,6 people in the spacious cabin.I highly recommend this place!!

Country living

We enjoyed our stay here, the host was very helpful and fast to respond with any questions. They took us on a tour of their property and told us the story of the different animals at the farm. The cabin was cute and very clean. There is no WiFi so if your visiting just know that. We didn’t mind and it made us spend time talking and watching movies together as a family. Also places to eat and stores are not that close by, and there is no cooking there so come prepared. There is a microwave, small fridge and sink. Overall nice and peaceful place to just get away.

We where doing a wedding in and needed a place for prep and staging, this worked perfect.

Cute, loved the animals, wish we would have had more time to just enjoy the property and fish.

great safe place to enjoy time with grabdchildren.

enjoyed the weekend. felt there were some things that could have been provided to make it more comfortable. needed a larger trash can. there was only a tiny can in kitchen area. needed more counter space or another table for preparing meals. there is no place to put clothing.

Cozy country cabin

Loved this little cabin. Fun to see all the animals on the property. The surrounding area is very pretty countryside with lots of trees. Highly recommend!

Great Country Charm!

We had a great time at this little pasture cabin. Easy access, very clean and nice owners. Enjoyed fishing in the little pond and hanging out with the horses, cows and lamas! 5 star experience!

Cabin held 7 of us comfortably. Very friendly host. Quiet and open space. Freedom to relax and enjoy. Will be visiting again.
