"This is a lovely house which is beautifully kept and the pool an added bonus in the heatwave. The area is full of things to see and do, and the locals are very friendly.Unfortunately and through no fault of the owners, problems with the VRBO App made communication with them very difficult prior to arrival. The helpline was helpful in resolving this, however, and once our holiday was underway, we had a fabulous time."

"The gite was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. In particular we loved the pool and garden around it which is beautifully maintained. A very quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing and getting away from the stresses of working life. Friendly, helpful but unobtrusive host was the icing on the cake. Couldn’t ask for more!"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis. Le logement est parfait pour deux couples avec enfants : piscine hors-sol, balançoire, ping-pong, billard… Le terrain clos est idéal pour des enfants en bas âge. Le logement est très bien équipé, notamment en cuisine. Belles pièces et espace extérieur charmant, au calme et à 15min de voiture de Cognac. Nous recommandons sans hésitation !"

"Very comfortable with everything needed for a self catering holiday. Lots of outdoor space and we loved the pool. We had a lovely relaxing holiday and enjoyable days out. Saintes was a particular favourite. Nothing went wrong but we felt reassured that Bernal would sort out any problems. Grateful thanks."
